@ the party, (OOC: Assuming no one else wished to do anything else in Thornton's Shop and Exchange, I will be moving on.) The party departs from the pawn shop, and starts heading towards the Fist of Justice Guild Hall. The building is pretty large, and it is located somewhere between the upper levels of the city and the Stonehill Inn. So it is in a decent part of the town. It looks nice, but its not as pristine as some other areas of the city the party has seen. (OOC: whoever is leading the group opens the doors to the building), as the party enters it looks populated by a variety of people, all of which look prepared for adventure. Whether they are armored up, have some sort of magical device, or just have this intense look about them. The party's entrance did not go unnoticed, a few minutes after entering the building a dwarf approaches the party. It is the same dwarf as last time. Tact Haelstrom. Tact: (to the party) "Ah, I see the Fated Eight have returned. You look fewer in number than last time you all showed up. I take it that you want a meeting with the master. follow me." Tact motions for the party to follow him.

"You keep the bag." O'alana says as she happily takes the ball and holds it curiously. A lot lighter than she expected that it almost flies out of her hand. She hugs it in her arms and eventually asks Halia for something to strap the ball in, securing it on her belt before they leave.

Is this what you are looking for?" She holds up a leather strap with a large pouch attached to it. (OOC: think of it as one of those baby harness things people wear so they don't have to carry their baby in their hands.) "I can let this go for 15 gold pieces."

O'alana gives Halia a curious look, looking at the strange contraption Halia pulls out, and finally shakes her head. "A sack will do."
@ O'alana, Halia puts the leather strap thing back onto the shelf she found it. Halia then goes back behind the counter and digs around. You can hear coins spill onto the floor behind the counter. She then plops a sack onto the counter. Halia: (to O'alana) "5 copper pieces please."

@ Gimble, You can see people drinking at a long bar against the wall to your left, there are other people having meals at some of the tables scattered about the room. You see some others arm wrestling. Some people are heading into the hallway, or going up the stairs. It seems like a very busy place.
@ the party, You all follow Tact to the hallway and through the hallway to a door at the end of the hallway. He opens the door and lets you all in. In this new room it appears to be an office. Sitting behind the desk is Breck Veldtner, the Fists of Justice Guild Master. She is a big half-orc. She is heavily armored but has clothing and decoration draped over the armor. There are not enough chairs in the room for the party to sit down. Breck: (to Tact) "Tact, go get some chairs so our guests can sit down." Tact nods and then goes back into the hallway and out of sight. Breck turns towards the party. Breck: (to the party) "Ah, the Fated Eight have returned. And after you all made some fame for yourselves. Assuming the rumors are correct, you all took out some goblins, and you managed to wipe out the Red Brand Bandit's hideout. “Well I must admit it’s a very fine offer. Am I correct to assume that it’s a tad more complicated than saying yes? I assume that our most recent exploits, although they may have reached your ears, is not what gets us into this guild. And are there things or relations that would get us kicked from the guild?”
"I guess I was more wondering if there are dues, fees, shares of rewards, etc." Misty says with a shrug. She adjusts in her chair, a little uncomfortable sitting in half plate armor, as she adjusts the straps on her breastplate. "Or do you get paid through some other means? After all I assume an organization like this takes money to oppoerate."

@ the party, Breck: (to the party) "Normally yes, people have to go through a trial of a sort. Like one of your group tried the last time you were all here. Your exploits as you call them, would be why I would grant your group membership without being tested. I'm going to make sure the rumors are true, barring that the Fated Eight has an open invitation to joining our adventuring guild. The only relations that could get you kicked out would be one with any criminal organization or becoming a member of a different adventuring guild. I try not to kick people out of the guild for minor things. Usually I will talk with any member that takes an action against Fists of Justice before doing anything. Since you all publicly attacked the Red Brand Bandit hideout I think its safe to say you are not criminals." Breck then turns back to Misty. "No fees or dues required of our members. As for share of the reward, the guild takes its cut when we talk with the client before posting the job request. Sometimes the Kingdom can pay us a reward for keeping an area safe or rid of crime. Given recent events we have not been paid for that. The guild does not take that much money to operate. The members get paid through the job, I manage the guild's treasury and all that's for is maintaining the building and keeping the place supplied with food and drink. If the hall wasn't located in such a crowded city I suppose I might have used the money to expand the guild hall to have more and bigger rooms but we manage."
Tact comes back into the room with more chairs as he was asked. Breck looks past the group to Tact, Breck: (to Tact) "Thank you Tact, that will be all for now." Tact nods and then leaves the room, shutting the door behind him.
Breck turns back to the party, Breck: (to the party) "I get the feeling you are all still hesitant about joining us. Perhaps you would like a tour of the guild hall or would like to talk with some of our members? I will admit the life of an adventurer isn't for everybody. In difficult times such as these, they are certainly needed. So if your in it for gold or for helping people, this is a good way to achieve those goals. Besides, who couldn't use more friends?" She says the last part with a smile. You can get a good look at her half-orc teeth, two most prominent of them are borderline tusks.

"I am not hesitant, I just wished to get some answers before I committed myself to anything." Misty says, shifting in her chair again. She moves her magical sword slightly, the act of sitting having made wearing the thing uncomfortable. "I for one think this a good idea, and would be willing to join." She glances up at the others of her company. "I cannot make the decision for the rest of you though, so speak up if this is what you wish."
Tessa nods approvingly. Chasing bounties is tiring, and hoping for rewards after volunteering my time is a poor bargain.
"So long as the work is honest, a reliable employer would be appreciated."
