"Thank you, kind and wise lady. With your permission, we will now take our leave. Be at peace!" he says with a bow, and starts walking backwards to get out of the hut.
“Ha, not like we have anything else…a name, a city, maybe she knows a good investigator. OR maybe she’ll hire us for another gig….huh, I wonder how she’s going to verify we didn’t kill the banshee.”
Stannic relaxes as the banshee disappears and lets out a breath he did not he was holding. “That was interesting. I guess there isn’t anything else to do but tell the good Sister what we found out. I will be happy to get out of this place.”
@ Casmir, Stannic, and Gimble, the three of you make it back to the make shift camp. Gundren and Greg are still packing up for today's journey. Sister Garaele is hanging around but not helping the two dwarves.

Stannic sits down on the ground and makes himself comfortable before they resume their journey. “The good news is we met your Banshee. She appeared to us and we discussed the situation peacefully. The bad news…” he trails off and looks to Casmir and Gimble for support.
@ Stannic, Gimble, and Casmir, Sister Garaele: (to the party) "I see. Thank you, you have done what I asked." She gets out the three potions of healing. "Here is your reward as promised. If you'll excuse me I must be heading back to the city." She looks over at the dwarves who are all finished up repacking the wagon, and are getting the oxen rehooked up to the wagon. "Seek me out the next time you are in Emberhorn City. I have a proposal for the three of you. When asking about me, just say, I'm ready to watch in the dark. The right people will know what it means." (OOC: assuming no one stops her or asks her a question...) She departs.
@ Stannic, Gimble, and Casmir, (OOC: after Sister Garaele leaves) Gundren walks over to the three of you. Gundren: (to the party) "I take it your business with the priestess is done with?"

Snapping out of his thoughts, Casmir looks at Gundren as if the dwarf had just teleported there and stammers: "Huh... yes, yes. We're done, thanks." then starts picking up his stuff muttering to himself "Ready to watch in the dark, ready to watch in the dark, ready..."
Stannic wishes the Sister well as she departs “I am sorry we did not have better news for you, Sister.” He thinks upon her last words as she departs as Casmir repeats them “What do you think she means by that?”he asks Casmir
He looks up as Gundren asks if they are ready to leave “Yes, ready to leave when you are.” He stands back up and prepares to get back on the road.
(Recommend we each take one healing potion - sound good to everyone?)
Thok remains seated nearby as he waits with the patience of a mountain lion...
Thok is a scarred and disfigured orc. His whole left side of his body is like melted wax and raised scar tissue next to a notably missing arm, amputated or hacked off at the shoulder. He wears a fur cape over a shirtless chest. He was clearly once a strong orc warrior, but is now a bit hunched, leaning hard on a thick staff of oak. The staff is marked with symbols, and a few stains of blood near the head, indicating it may have once been a cudgel. At his hip, tied carefully shut, a book that would look quite small in Thok's thick, careless hands.
Still... He was a good choice to leave with the dwarves. His command of magic is above average, and his mere presence off putting to most locals, whilst his - frankly, unbelievable - possession of a Gallian ID offers him protection of the law in case of an angry group of tavern drunks.
"Ready." He stands and stretches before coming closer to walk with the group when they leave.
One of Gundren’s new bodyguards, an attractive, young blonde female elf in charcoal and black clothes and hooded traveling cloak approaches the three. “I heard youmet a banshee?” Her voice is filled with wonder. “I go by Syl. I’d love to hear more about her..”
“Ready to watch in the dark. Bit of an odd one isn’t she? Even more mysterious will be if we can remember that phrase by the time we return. I think we we’re ready Gundren.”
Gimble turns to the elf asking about the banshee. “I don’t know. Didn’t seem like much to share. Dark, mysterious, living in a heap of mess,” he shrugs his shoulders. “Nothing to really write home about in my opinion. Nice to meet ya Syl, I’m Gimble.” He looks past her towards the orc. “Interesting company you keep.”

Gimble nudges Casmir. “This might be as close as we’re gona get to the book today.”
Casmir manages to not jump at Gimble's nudge.
"Thank you, kind and wise lady. With your permission, we will now take our leave. Be at peace!" he says with a bow, and starts walking backwards to get out of the hut.
@ Casmir, Stannic, and Gimble, the banshee disappears from your sight, and the room feels a little warmer without her presence.

Gimble goes up to the sister. “Well, you want the good news or the bad news?”
@ Gimble, Sister Garaele: (to Gimble) "Good news first I suppose." she says nervously.

“The bad news is that, she no longer has the book.”
