Reaction: Using Tail Swipe on triggering attack, gaining 3 AC to try and change it to a miss.
If a creature you can see within 10 feet of you hits you with an attack roll, you can use your reaction to swipe your tail and roll a d8, applying a bonus to your AC equal to the number rolled, potentially causing the attack to miss you.
Marcon flinched at Rediroth's touch. But fortunately, the looming threat of the dragon kept his eyes glued on the larger beast. Unfortunately, whether it was the minor distraction from behind or misunderstanding new and unfamiliar instincts, Marcon cannot quite follow through whipping the tail about to deflect the claw before its already too late.
Yet all the same, if he felt any pain in the heat of the moment, the barest hint of a grimace is all the dragon gets from him before he's on the offense again. This time he rushed to punch a balancing foreleg with a wild haymaker, before then capitalizing on the brief window its neck was lowered to wrap a muscly arm around the thinnest point and catch it in the biggest, crushing headlock.

Marcon's uppercut catches the dragon right where it should - the underside of the chin - slamming the dragon's mouth closed. a loud squeel can be heard from STOPIT can be heard from inside the dragon's mouth upon impact.
VENOMFANG - Strength (Athletics): 17 vs. DC 21 to avoid grapple
The foolishly courageous farmboy manages to grasp hold of the leathery flesh hanging loose on the underside of the dragon's chin and then curls himself up to look the dragon square in the eye!
Reidoth walked calmly over to the southwest corner of the small cottage and sat down on the edge of the cobweb-covered bed and crossed one leg over the other as if he were preparing to lie down for a nap. Even though Ronk's serpentine face could hardly convey any emotions, the giant snake reared up and cocked its head quizzically at the druid's sudden indifference towards the mortal combat occurring just a few feet ahead of him. Marcon too, despite his focused rage as he clung from the dragon's beard - momentarily ceased all motion, and looked absolutely flummoxed as Reidoth sat quietly at the edge of the bed rubbing his temples. Not sure whether they had just been betrayed by the druid, or if the man had simply given up, Garet prepared to dash into the cottage an try to extract Marcon away from the dragon...if such a thing were even possible.
Then, the druid's body quickly sprouted shaggy, coarse brown hair...so thick in fact, that the man's clothing began to bulge and his face and hands dissappeared under the dense folicle growth. His body continued to swell and suddenly his clothing and carried possessions just melted into rapidly expanding brown furball, which ballooned to nine times Reidoth's original size. Four massive appendages sprouted at the bottom of the mass as two stark-white horns, both nearly 12 feet feet in length, shot out the side facing the dragon. Finally, an enormous mammoth took shape from the wooly sphere, which filled almost all of the available space in the tiny cottage!
The mammoth trumpeted loudly, startling the dragon enough that it momentarily released its vice-like grip on SPIT the owl...who promptly fluttered up to the top of the tower and over the side, landing exhausted near the STOPIT the saber-toothed tiger, who was lazing happily in the bushes outside...

Ronk would definitely blinking in surprise at the druid's actions... If he had eyelids. Instead he just slowly raises his head, watching the man become a mammoth, then shakes his head and tries to get back to the task at hand - biting a dragon.

Rotgrub Rigel notices that a couple scales seperate just a bit at the point where the neck meets the body everytime the dragon cranes its head to follow one of his companions. He tries to time his next bite just as Van flies by causing the dragon to again twist and lift its head helping to create a potential tiny gap in the scalyskin.
Seeing that the fight will probably stay out of him Garet drops his concentration on boosting his defense.

The wooly mammoth that the druid had become let out a loud trumpet and charged the short distance forward towards the dragon. Marcon watched with detached curiosity as two massive tusks, with tips as sharp as spears, came directly for him through the doorway. They just barely missed impaling him, instead passing on either side of his head as they thrust at the dragon's neck!
REIDOTH Attack (Gore): 12 vs. AC 18 (Venomfang); dealing 24 piercing damage on a hit.
Meanwhile, STOPIT stayed hidden in the thick underbrush near the tower, watching Garet's facial reactions as the fight inside continued, in an effort to determine if some pre-emptive retreat might become necessary.
SPIT remained in the tree outside, nursing his wounds and praying that his companions....masters? friends?....were inside defeating the dragon, so that he would not become its next meal....or slave...

RECHARGE: 5
The dragon thrashed back and forth violently, but could not shake Marcon's vice-like grip. Suddenly, the dragon becomes very still, outside of labored breathing...and a moment later, even the rise and fall of the wyrm's body halts. "What do you want...human..."speaks the dragon, in perfect Common. The voice is deep, and the sounds of the hard consonants reverberate off the walls of the keep and adjacent cottage.
"Actually, I take that back...I don't care what you want, though it must be something important for one such as you to dare to engage in hand-to-hand combat with one such as me. Your foolishness intrigues me boy, though not enough to stop myself from killing you. Perhaps, many years from now, I may still suffer from the burning curiosity of such a bold and ill-fated decision...."
And with that, the dragon draws in a deep breath, throws his head back - pivoting Marcon up from below towards the dragon's mouth - and spews concentrated poison onto, into (and perhaps even through) the fearless farmboy and those in the cottage chamber beyond.
VENOMFANG: Attack (Poison Breath) Constitution Save (Marcon): 21 vs. DC 14; Constitution Save (Reidoth): 18 vs. DC 14; Each target takes 39 poison damage on a failed save or half damage (19) on a success.

At the start of each of your turns, you can deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage to one creature grappled by you.
The sheer force of the breath nearly blows Marcon away from the dragon. He hung on yet all the same, too blinded by pain and rage to notice his body had transforming again to fit the needs of the one, single desire that trumped it all. By the time the gas has disappated the word 'mess' not have been fitting any more to describe the barbarian still clutching the dragon in a death grip.
Between labored breaths and bouts of pained coughing he growled the following past bloody lips, "You need... to be alive... first... to see that day."That is when the dragon feels a sharper pain as the nails of elongated fingers dug deeper, crushing what it could not pierce. Fingers that were closer to the claws of a bone devil, but with much of the flesh covered in black scales from hand to forearm before disappearing into his close. Of the tail he once tried to use both defensively and offensively, only a ragged hole in his pants remained.
Not that he paid such complications any mind, for soon with bloody, guttural roar of his own, he began tearing at the throat with his free with reckless abandon; heeding not what had been marked by Garet's spell for sheer fury!
