"Sinsbog knows you had a good haul. Got you a live one, and he wants him, else my 'collections agency' gets to have a go at you."
He shows his fists, implying they're his 'agency', but casts a quick glance back over his shoulder, hoping the others were ready - next time someone who can act gets to do this...
"Looks like the ruse might have worked. Let's give them a few seconds to get deeper in the cave and then while they go get their boss let's see if we can move to more advantageous positions"
The goblins disappear into the cave. A moment later, the group hears the fierce yelps and howls of a pack of dogs, coyotes or perhaps wolves coming from inside the cave. This racket dies down after about a minute or so, and the surrounding area falls silent once again except for the babbling of the stream flowing from the mouth of the cave.
As soon as the racket dies down Rigel turns to the rest of the group a quickly lays out a plan,
"Okay how's this sound? Elisa, you and Garret move up to the bushes next to the cave. Van and I will fire from here. I think Ronk's trick might have worked. At the very least he's gonna get a few more out here and I'd rather fight in the open than in a cave we don't know. As soon as they address Ronk we'll step out. Hopefully they'll come at us and head farther out giving Elisa and Garret a chance to get behind them. Any thoughts? Oh and Garret....yeah they're bad"
Several agonizing minutes pass and suddenly the yipping of the wolves comes to a quick stop. Then a hulking bugbear, every bit as big as Ronk and toting a hefty morningstar, emerges from the cave. Seeing Ronk, he addresses him directly:
”You there! Dis Klarg’s cave. You go find own cave. Dis my goblins, my loot, my human, my everything! King Gral give to me.”
He does not notice Elisa or Garet in the wooded area to this left, but suddenly sees Rigel and Vanzaren over Ronk’s shoulder: “Hey, you humans are getting away! You go chase them down! And then you give one to Klarg for bothering me!”
Ronk tries to to star at the morningstar. and snarls back. "Who the hell is Gral?! This is Sinbog's turf, that's Sinsbog's cave, and YOU'RE holdin' on to Sinbog's loot!"
He glances back at Rigel and Vanzaren, and yells out in Common, still maintaining that bugbear bellow, but sounding a bit more distressed. "Fifty gold to whichever of you gives me this deadbeat's skull!" He struggles to wink at them - it's more of a staggered blink and wince - and looks back to Klarg, repeating the offer in goblin in case any goblins might be swayed.
Klarg had never heard of someone named “Sinsbog” but Ronk’s obvious sincerity made him question whether such individual didn’t exist. He worried that maybe he had chosen the wrong warlord to follow and what the repercussions might be if he had inadvertently encroached upon the territory of one more powerful than Grol.
(OOC: “repercussions”, “encroached” and “inadvertently” were not the specific words that flowed through Klarg’s thoughts. More like “punished”, “trespass” and “oops”)
”OK! OK! No tell Sinsbog. We make deal. What you want?” says Klarg to his loincloth-clad kinsman.
Ronk blinks a bit in surprise but tries to keep his glowering scowl going.
"Sinsbog knows you got a live one from a fresh ambush - Boss woke me up to come collect. We take the live one and you pay up what you owe then get outta Sinbog's turf. He's got a warhost formin' in the woods northeast. Three days march. Maybe if you join, we'll take our cut from your loot, not you."
He really hopes he remembered the lay of the land and isn't sending an untold number of goblins to a small town... And that this Grol didn't have turf to the north...
KLARG TO RONK: “Ok!! You wait here, I go get human and you loot too. No tell Klarg on Sinsbog!”
The bugbear withdraws into the cave and melts into the shadows. Ronk can hear the sound of jingling coming from just inside the cave mouth just out of sight. But it does not sound like coins jingling, but rather something much heavier...like chains. A moment later, three vicious-looking wolves burst out of the cave and attack!!

Intimidation: 9
(OOC: I will call that an intimidation check, based on your comments to the goblins previously...well done, BTW)
”Okays!! Don’t bashes our skulls! You want us go get Klarg? He boss. He know stuff. He haves your money!!”
Garet is confused as heck!
Ronk throws one more rock for good measure.
"Sinsbog knows you had a good haul. Got you a live one, and he wants him, else my 'collections agency' gets to have a go at you."

The two goblins cast concerned glances at one another and then scramble towards the cave.
(OOC: anyone with a ranged weapon can make an attack roll at disadvantage to try to plink one...or both of them as they scurry away!)
Rigel relaxes his draw and says,
"Looks like the ruse might have worked. Let's give them a few seconds to get deeper in the cave and then while they go get their boss let's see if we can move to more advantageous positions"

Ronk gulps a bit at the canine sounds coming from the cave. But he tries to keep his cool in case he's being watched, and idly scratches his ear.
"I.i see..m..maybe t..they lack g..good r..role model?"
