“Understood,” Daffafle nods, carefully rolling the scroll and placing it in her pack. “Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Mesla. It was a fascinating puzzle indeed! I will make sure to stop by the next time I’m in town, hopefully with a heavier purse.” Unable to remember the time the group had decided to meet up, and worried about the time the puzzle took, the halfling begins to head towards the meeting place.
Khazanseems to speak the truth as track-keeping isn't his strong point in this moment.
While gently easing through some bush, Khazansees a very large puddle from yesterday's rain. A deer gently walks up, checks its surroundings before lowering its head to take a long drink...

Bartenjoys time with an old friend. Edgarexplains the increase of the human city of Peny; the sharp rise of crimes, cells and prisons overflowing with the moving in of grander shops and stalls move in, but established necessary vendors are being pressured to move on or being bought outright underneath the owners. Bartsaw this happening to his library and isn't surprised this to be happening, but the rate it is happening could cause alarm...

Daffafle glances at Wulcrath, then back to the youth.
“You’re paying us to take our cart back?” She sizes up the incoming, finer company, recognizing the boy was likely to make much better profit. “I’d agree to that. What do you say, Wulcrath?”

*Still too far for my axes, I'll have to get closer ..* thinks Khazan while looking around for bushes or rocks near the deer that may be used as cover. He turns around and whispers to other two dwarves, trying to not alert the deer of their presence. "Ruz, try tae get on its right, I'll go tae the left. We cut off his escape as best we can an' push it toward Dobin. Dobin, ye'll 'ave tae be quick. Once it spots us, it'll probably freeze fer a second or two outta fear. After that it'll run away. Can ye land a hit before it runs?"
Khazancan make that it is a large cat, recently too. Within the last few hours at most.

Daffafleand Wulcrathare now left awkwardly in the middle of the road with road, making it difficult for visitors to get through without visible scorn, or even the odd comment!
Snapping out of his bewilderment with a shake of his head, Wulcrath quickly tries to make way for the people around him leaning down to Daff in the crowd.
"I think we should get out of these people's way, maybe go find the others, what do you think?"
He says as he leans down, feeling the scornful stares of everyone walking around him like a weight on his soul.
*We'll need bait if want lure it out* Khazan stands, signals at the other two to continue as planned and moves toward the tall grass he noticed before. Stealth check: 9
“Agreed,” Daffafle replies. She climbs up the cart, sitting in the front, then hesitates before taking the reigns. “Maybe you have more experience with driving a cart than I do,” she offers them to Wulcrath. “But we’ve got to get this out of the main road, then we can search for the rest of our party.”
