The odds are against him, so he comes out raging. Making use of the team's fractured nature and gaps in cohesion, the Redbrand attacks in quick succession, landing two severe blows against the cleric. Stig takes two piercing wounds, to a total of 12 points of damage.
@Stig - Are you still standing, or had this taken its toll and knocked you out?

"You're a persistent fecker aren't you" Stig says as he swings his war hammer, no longer caring if he has a brain, simply wanting to bash his head clean off.
Frustrated with the challenge of taking out these four lowly ruffians, Naivara pulls her bow back and holds it, arms quivering. With a sigh, she releases the string and sends the nocked arrow flying. With solid accuracy, the arrow pierces the ruffians studded armour and ends his life. The Redbrand collapses to the ground, expired.
Seeing his final comrade fall, the last of the four Redbrands yells:
"Run, warnGlasstaff!" At this screaming, a fifth Redbrand, hiding between the two buildings opposite your location, breaks from cover and runs for the manor. In a few short steps, the newest ruffian approaches the Sleeping Giant and the stack of barrels emptied by their previous carousing, approximately 45 feet away.

Once the rest of the group gathers in the inn virran growls at the redbrand "I am going out side and if I come back in and you have not told us what we want to know I will make your world pain"

Virran then steps outside and blends into the shadow and keeps an eye out for anything suspicious approaching the inn

Having carefully packed away his lute, Asmodean saunters into the inn and gives Virran a friendly tap on his shoulder as he exits. “Now now my friend half orc friend, no need to be threatening” he says “That was just a bit of fun, a bit light horseplay if you will” and he mimics a fight by punching the air in quick succession.
”Still” Asmondean continues as saunters over to their captive with a friendly smile, “he is quite an ugly fellow isn’t he?” And he pauses before adding “can’t imagine what it would be like to be left all alone in a dark room with him.”
”Anyway, I doubt there is need for introductions on my behalf, because of course I am Asmodean, famed bard and musician of the ages ... but please forgive me, I am at a loss for your name fine sir.”

Before entering the inn, Naivara had pulled her arrow from Redbrand #3’s chest. She stands wiping the blood off now as she glares at the Redbrand, contemplating where she will aim it if this one does not give them the answers they want.
She listens intently to the conversation, hoping the bard can stand strong, be very persuasive and start off with the right questions.

As much as he hates to admit it, Stig is feeling somewhat worse for wear after the skirmish. Seeing the others have their captive under control, he heads to his room to patch himself and his armour up and get some rest.

Feeling better than ever after his short rest, Stig returns to the others to see what they've found out.
Not quite fully recovered, she’s ready to face the world and whatever it throws her way. She is now eagerfor the questioning to be finished so the party can move on to the next destination... probably the manor.

Persuasion check (on Asmodean's encouraged behalf) 14
The combination of Virran's attempts to threaten followed by the gentle, reassuring lilt to Asmodean's words convinces the Redbrand to engage. With the heat of battle now subsided, the youthful appearance of this lad is visible through the layers of dirt covering his face and the sound of his voice. He mustn't be more than 21 - clearly inexperienced was the reason behind his lack of engaged in the previous fight.
Having intensely watched the outcome of your work against his fellows, he stutters out a response to Asmodean's question. “My name’s S-s-shawn. Are you going to kill me, too?” He starts sobbing, his body convulsing embarrassingly against the restraints. Shawn then drops his head against his chest and deflates completely. “You’re going to kill me. They said you would kill me.”
Naivara’s childhood comes flooding back for a moment, but is gone quickly - forced out of her mind. Experience with this kind of trauma is something she can related to. She is certain the youth’s emotional state is honest and not a cleverly role-played facade.
Shawn continues to sob quietly, not offering up any more words in his current state.

“Stop this, you fool. I hope this is the moment you realise you are on the wrong side. Choose to defend that side and, yes, we will kill you. But answer our questions and it might just save your life.
”We want to know why you Redbrands are making trouble for this town.
”We want to know who it is leading you. Who is this Glasstaff? Describe him... his strengths, his flaws, his motivations...
”We want to know where you are holding the man Iarno. We want to know why you have him.
”We want to know everything there is to know about the manor. Your hideout. Tell us the access points, the passwords, the guards. How many Redbrands will we find there?
”We want to know if you Redbrands have anything to do with the kidnapping of Gundren Rockseeker, or if you know anything of his whereabouts.
Answer wisely, or this arrow might claim a second life today.”
Naivara is hopeful that the boy is intimidated and persuaded enough by her words and team, but she tries her best to be persuasive anyway (Persuasion check 0)

“Ah my dear boy” Asmodean smooths over after Naivara’s tirade of questions, “forgive my overzealous companion here. She has a lot of questions that are on her mind, however is good of heart. In fact we are all good of heart in this band, and none of us wishes to see harm to you......” Asmodean trails of as if in thought before continuing .... “Except for that orc man creature that just left the Inn. I am petty sure he wants to kill you. BUT, we can keep him on that side of the door and once you have answered Naivara’s questions to the best of your knowledge, which I am sure you will be most accomodating, we will let you out the other door and you can flee this town, lie low and then return when this nastiness has blown over.”
”If you information proves helpful, the great Asmodean, that’s me” Asmodean winks at the captive “may even see fit to provide you with a gold coin for your troubles, and help you on your way.”

Shawn seems to calm at Asmodean's speaking, the lilt in the bard's voice still inspiring a healthy measure of respite. Looking between Asmodean and Naivara, he says, "I'll do my best to answer, but you have to understand - I am only new to the group. I didn't even want to join, but I had no choice. When they left to meet you, I was forced to come and 'learn'. But I couldn't do it. I couldn't join them in killing. You don't understand. Glasstaff will kill me for talking, anyway.
"If I talk, you have no reason to keep me alive, nor do you have reason to believe me when I speak, so you'll kill me anyway." He stops talking, and you think he's going to need prompting, but then be lifts his head and stares each of your in the eyes - apparently when faced with seeming death, boldness holds your hand. "Your word. Both of you. You will see me kept alive. Neither you nor your... orc friend... will harm me. Your word and I will tell you the little I know."
@Naivara
Your insight still applies. You can see he has made his decision and has no reason to lie otherwise. He genuinely believes he will die if you fail in your quest, so is willing to help in exchange for his life. It is the best odds he has at the moment.
“You have our word, young man” Naivara agrees. She hopes beyond hope that this new team of hers will allow her to keep this word without too much difficulty.
“That’s the spirit young man” Asmodean booms resting his hand gently on the Shaw’s shoulder. “I knew you’d be able to help.”
“Of course i give you my word. In fact “ Asmodean pauses to give a flourish of his hands towards Naivara “Naivara here will give you the gold coin in advance as I just know you will give us every detail you can, however trivial. I truly believe that you are the kind of man that will tell us things we didn’t even know we wanted to know.” And with that Asmodean takes a seat and give Shawn his fully attention ready for the boy to talk.

Yes Virran
