Naivara moves back out of the room and checks the Northern wall of the corridor that contained the trap. Best to cover all bases. ‘Wouldn’t it be great to move in on them from a few angles?!’ Wishful thinking, maybe, but worth a try. Perception 22
Swift decides to go into the northern corridor that Virran s investigating. If nothing else it may offer a vantage point for fighting. Also, she will keep an eye open for someone coming from behind. Maybe someone or something will be coming through the secret door Night Hawk described.
Maybe there's another entrance into the room where the voice is coming from. Whoever it is might use this door (if it exists) to attack from behind.
Swift wonders if the speaker is as tense as she feels. Are they calling out because they are ready for battle or is the words merely a bluff....
deciision made... swift moves into the corridor at the north.

The stone wall is gray in colour, with various lighter shades mottling the surface through out. The stone is smooth and shows no signs of obvious weakness. It might be possible to invest time and smash through the wall, with the right tools of course. Although possible, with a sword and an unknown wall thickness, this could take a while.
She continues to listen to the talk beyond the walls, carefully holding out for the noise of fear. Do the hostages sit beyond these walls?
From this vantage point in the corridor, you find it exceedingly difficult to hear anything through the stone wall. Determined, you press you ear closer to the wall, but find the result to be the same. Currently, the doorway still offers the best placement to listen into the desired room.
QSwift mosey's to the northern-most end of the northern corridor. She notes where night hawk said there would be a secret door. She’s not sur3 if she can see it. Is her perception good enough?
Opposite where Swift thinks the secret door is there's something that looks like another door. This door would lead to the general are@ of the disembodied voice. She looks closely at the door to see if it has handles or other fastenings. She also looks for possible traps that might trip when attempting to open the door. While it looks like a door, maybe it isn’t. Perhaps irs just a façade made to look like a door.
she also listens carefully for any sound that might be heard from the other side of the maybe door, even holding her breath so the sound of her breathing doesn't cover slight sounds. Perhaps all she can hear is the sound of her own heartbeat, pounding a bit more loudly than she would like. She thinks it’s her own heartbeat... it's certainly in time with the rhythm of beating she feels within.
Naivara moves back into the skeleton room. She was hoping that Virran and Swift would have returned with news of a way in to the room by now..
The words of the foe on the other side of the door. She still has a strong feeling there are hostages in there. She wishes that she had greater ability to intimidate them or put them under a spell through the door.... More and more she considers extending into a field such as wizardry.
“Asmodean, can you persuade or intimidate those bold scoundrels on the other side of the door? Or perhaps send in a magical item to give them a fright? It’s time we make a move!”
She moves opposite the door, over to the Western wall and, aiming carefully, uses all her strength to shoot an arrow into the door. “Elegard Aquilar!” She calls to her foes in frustration, ready for this.
Swift realises the door is probably just a door. It’s probably not locked and not all doors are likely to have traps set. Imagine the denizens of tresendar manor having to untrap and retrap each door every time they wanted to move through. It would be very annoying.
with this realisation, swift opens the door and gently pushes it open so it doesn’t bang, then steps back, raising the bow ready to fire.
Hearing the ultimatum from behind the door, Stig moves to the western side of the room, turns to face back towards the northeastern door and draws his crossbow, knocking a bolt. If anything comes through that door we should have it covered for a moment or two at least, he thinks to himself.

Swift, fairly certain now that the door does in fact have handles, earns a splinter in the pinky finger for her efforts. With Virran close to the door, still well hidden from unexpecting eyes, Swift tries the handle. A gentle, yet firm push lets her know the door is locked from the outside (your side).

Further cussing laughter comes from behind the door, then the familiar voice. "Nice try, lass, but ye'll not scare us with arrows in a door. And we're not stupid enough to be coming out to be shot. So how about this... I'll count to 5. Either ye don't grow yerself a pair and come in or your fecking bugger off. If I reach zero and you're still bumbling around. Well, let's just say that there's some nice townsfolk in here that'll...well... follow in their father's footsteps, then be fed to me pet monsters."
Realising the party is split and a very short hour-glass counting down - more of a second-glass, really - Asmodean moves closer to Stig and Naivara.
"I must heal myself or you'll not be having the pleasure of my lute later..." he winks at Naivara, catches Stig's eye and then winks again at him. "But I will have one spell left after that. I could cast unseen servant to open the door from where we are. Or would you rather rush in? Bluffing or not, I don't fancy to find out we're wrong."
Asmodean stretches his hands out, the brings them in. "Healus Me-eth," he says again with another wink. 8
Naivara winces.. “This is it. We need to do this, I trust that they are in there and they have already been through enough, What with their kidnapping and their husband/father being eaten by a nothic! Enough is enough! Virran, Swift. Come back! It’s on...” She says sternly.
Naivara runs to the door, pushes it open and swings her sword at the first foe she sees. Attack: 24 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. (inspiration used as advantage)

@ Swift - noted. Awaiting further exploration from the team, unless there is something in particular you are attempting.
@ Asmodean - You might be unaware - you are only on 4 HP... would you like to using Cure Wounds and remedy this problem?

OOC... I hope the corridor is wide enough for Virran and swift to stand side-by-side... it appears he is already at this end of the corridor.I
