Giggles interrupted. Alys‘ hand pops out from the pile of leaves and Counterspell!

Through sheer force of will a bloody Bixby rises to his feet, deflecting without even so much a gesture a bolt of fire. As he surveys the battlefield on shaky feet, seeing Zoey down he reached out to her mentally, stimulating the many cells necessary to both heal and awaken her. Then he looked to Cahluk, and pressed against the mind with his own, aiming to weedle open a weak point.

Yvan can't help but let a smirk tug at the corner of his lips at the two hits. "Babies have hit me harder than you," He'll growl. "Give me everything you've GOT."

Bixby charges forth, gathering what shadows there were about at the last moment into the palm of a hand before leaping forth, intending on cutting down at least one of the pesky Orc spellslingers.

Kothrog and Grishnakh fall to the attacks from Yvan and Bixby.

With Kothrog and his lackeys dead, you and the other defenders are able to fight off the attackers. The now-leaderless Orcs lack organization and it takes you only two hours to beat them back. After the battle, you spend the majority of the next day collecting bodies, both those of the fallen defenders, and of the attackers that you killed. Kothrog's sword is taken to the tower by some soldiers, as is Cahlhuk's staff.

Level up to 10.

"We did it!!" Kasha sang, dancing and frolicking around the battlefield and ballet dancing around the dead bodies. In her glee, she sang and tossed Obsidian happily up into the air with joy. Many times. "We did it! We did iiiiiiittttttt! We woooonnnnnn-nah!" She stopped, once, and asked Obsidian with genuine curiosity, "Say. Who were those guys, anyways?"

After nearly two hours of non-stop fighting, Bixby is nearly dead on his feet. Tristan recieves a few tunes of restorative magic to get him back into fighting shape well before hand, for every hand still counted, as far as the changeling had been concerned about things.

Come the next day the changeling still seemed haggered, and is no more able to share in Kasha's strange enthusiasm as he did the previous day of turmoil. But, neither did he complain about it, or offer any insight regarding her query. That, he left to the others while he nursed old aches or collected bodies; sometimes in [Tooltip Not Found] to collect as many as possible at once. When he hears of sword and staff having been taken to the tower, he would say to the others, "I don't know about all of you, but I will see about negotating a bonus for the hard work." Afterwards, at the first opportunity Bixby makes his way to the tower with or without the others.

Stella sighs and sheathes her bloody blades, giving Kasha a nod. "Thank you, Kasha," she pants. Without a word or a look towards her parents, the weary rogue heads inside for some rest.

The next day, Stella decides to accompany Bix to the tower.

After the battle would end, Alys would sigh. Not that she expected a thank you from Bixby, but she shared Kasha's sentiment for some appreciation. But alas, she knew she'd be hanging on to false hope. The cleric would look to Yvan. She'd trot over to their giant and rest a gentle hand on his back. "Breathe easy..." The elf would whisper under her breath using what little magic she had left to begin tending to the few wounds he incurred. She'd offer to tend to the rest of his wounds with bandages and their home grown herbs should he like.

Alys could of course hear Kasha's burst of enthusiasm. It brought a smile to her face. Someone had to bring up the energy. If Obsidian didn't provide her with the answer, she would lean in to whisper to the druid, "The orcs we killed the dragon for. They enslaved Stella's parents."

The cleric would lend any and all of her capabilities to tend, honour and respect the dead. It wasn't glorious work and it took a while, but she definitely didn't want them coming back as zombies either. Alys would watch the two weapons get carried off by the soldiers, but was much too exhausted and in need of a bath to care at that exact moment. She figured B would be on top of that for them. When he'd just walk off, she'd just say F it and shrug. The wizard would go the other way. She had other things she could do right now...

"You're welcome, Stella!!" Kasha smirks, putting Obsidian down, who looked a little sick from all the tossing up and down from her happiness. She leaned into Alys's mouth as she whispered in her ear, and nodded knowingly, slowly, after the explanation, as if concentrating deeply. "Ah." she said, sagely. "Of course. Well, I had fun being a dino and eating people. That always brings me joy!! HkhKhKK!"

She didn't what else to do, and certainly wasn't in this for the money, so she created leaves for all the fallen people that were on our side and placed them gingerly on their chests. In her own little way, it was a sign of thanks, and hope for peace for them in the afterlife.
