As Alys shared the pond with the deer she would be able to learn enough to lead her studies for the rest of her time there. And as she’d return to her gear and her magic would fade, the elf would only redon the oversized cloak to protect her from the elements. The wizard would spend most of the first and second day polymorphing into different animals she’d come across her venture to relate and learn as much as she could. There was freedom and whimsie that came with frolicking freely in the wilderness communing with nature, feeling the earth between her toes and foliage stuck in her hair. A part of her felt like she could maybe even relate to Kasha a bit better. Maybe the druid would even be proud of her? She thought. She hoped.
On the morning of the last day Alys would come across a dying animal. Her eyes would soften as she’d approach it. The elf would kneel at its side. Seeing that there was nothing else she could do to ease it’s suffering, the wizard would reach for her blade. Inhaling a deep breath Alys will calm herself. And little by little she’ll begin singing a soft prayer she remembered from her fathers temple to guide its soul as she’d complete the deed to end its pain. The elf would continue the hymn in respect as she’d perform a ritual of appreciation as she’d harvest, clean, store and care for the rest of its remains. When the task was done and she’s paid all respects, Alys would make her way to the nearest body of water to submerge in, cleansing herself.
Finally, Alys would don all her armour, including Yvan’s cape and begin the trek back home, hoping to arrive shortly after lunch.
Stella frowns faintly when not 1, but two of the Misfits vanish from the mansion with no advance warning, but shrugs and reminds herself that everyone's an adult. The rogue smiles upon seeing Kasha's donation on the third day. "That was good of her. Shall we put this somewhere safe for post-hatching?"
Upon being notified of Bixby's departure, Yvan gives a mere nod to the servants in acknowledgment, a bit surprised to know he would return, but there was... relief in knowing so. While the goliath wasn't one to go poking around others stuff, he was sure to keep the general area around the tent weed free (along with the rest of the mansion of course), mostly just keeping a general look out to ensure nothing would try to sneak up on them somehow.
As the days pass, he keeps his worries for Alys (and to an extent B) at bay, and had asked if he had seen her he would cover for the wizard as best as he could for her sake. When he wasn't outside tending the plants or training, he would be inside his room, whittling away at a small project, or reading a book he had picked up from their personal library. There would be times he would bother Stella or Vastra on particular words that he didn't understand, eventually feeling bad about asking them so much and picking up a dictionary too when returning a book.
On the third day, he had been entering the mansion when he hears Vastra speaking about Kasha's 'Dragun Fud Fund', and with curiosity getting the better of him, he makes his way over to see what she was talking about. He looks to be impressed with the bag of coin she procured for the beast. "Wonder what's gotten her suddenly so excited for it..." He thinks aloud, then thinks for a moment, trying to do some quick math in his head. "... And doesn't it hatch today?"

Alys returns somewhat later with her animal remains neatly bagged up for the baby dragon to consume.
"Yes, it does. I suppose that we should go see the egg." You go to the room where the egg is stored and see that it is now heavily cracked. You hear the sound of something pounding on the egg from within as the cracks continue to expand and eventually you see a silver snout come popping out of the egg, eventually followed by the dog-sized body of a silver dragon wyrmling that eyes you all curiously.

Yvan had stood to the back when they entered the room to watch the egg finally hatch, watching it with slight interest. It looked similar to how a chicken would hatch, just bigger... and more deadly. The creature was... cute in its own little way.
After a silence of them marveling at their new pet(?), he would speak up and ask, "... What do we do now? Do... Do we name it? Uh... Him?" He squints, then retracts his statement. "Her. Sorry."

When Alys would stroll through the garden upon her return, she'd smile noticing the recent care it received. Hi. I'm safe... She'd send a short telepathic message to Yvan as she'd find her way to him and the others. I'll be right there...
The elf would slowly, maybe even a little reluctantly, remove the goliath's cape and enter the room quietly, hoping she wasn't too late. Thank you. Alys would reach up from behind to gently drape Yvan's cloak back onto his shoulders, ensuring it was returned with the same care in which it was given. She'd brush out some wrinkles before stepping out from behind him when her ears would pick up the cracking of the eggshells.
Alys would have to clasp a hand over her mouth to stifle a gasp as she'd tiptoe closer and peek around the others to get a look at the hatching. She has never seen anything like it. The scholar would be guilty of pulling out her notebook to start taking notes and sketching the event from a vantage point that wouldn't obscure anyone else's view. The wizard couldn't help but giggle from Yvan's question and observation.
Seeing the curious eyes of the hatchling looking at them almost expectantly, Alys would pull a neatly bundled package from her bag. She'd unravel the top of it to reveal fresh game sliced into tiny morsels. "Here." With a small smile, the elf would reach out to encourage each one of them to take a piece of meat and offer it to their new baby hatchling for an opportunity to bond first.
(I don't want to assume anything without Crispy getting the chance to post. But if Kasha was there with us and if C will accept some RP interaction.)
Alys will crouch, putting her face almost cheek to cheek with Kasha's when she'd reach their druid, watching the hatchling. "What do you think Kasha?" The elf was genuinely curious and excited to hear her initial insight on the hatchling and thoughts for dragon names. She knew the most wild creatures than anyone else she knew, and always had the most suitable names.
"I'll tell you what I think!"she said, watching the dragon hatch from it's egg, feeling Aly's cheek against hers. She grabbed Aly's face playfully as they were cheek to cheek, Kasha inhaled deeply and dramatically, pressed her mouth to Aly's cheek, and blew a loud, noisy raspberry against it.
She suddenly stopped when Vastra announced the silver's name. She made a noise and looked at the baby dragon, then to all of you.
"Cheddar?!"she asked, with a face that indicated insecurity, amusement, and confusion. "You named this thing after a cheese?!"
"Something else."Kasha said, making a face to Vastra as if it was obvious. She sighed, disappointed, and turned back to the dragon, watching it curiously and with amazement. She wanted to pet it, and a few times her hand went towards it slowly. Her hand stopped in front of it's snoot, or as close as it would let her, allowing it to catch her scent.
Upon receiving the telepathic message of Alys' safe return, Yvan looks to lax a bit while watching the egg crack. Welcome back home, he replies with a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. He hadn't noticed when she entered the room until he feels his cloak being draped on his shoulders, his automatic response being to bend his knees a little bit so she didn't have to reach so high for his sake. He gives her a nod in appreciation. Thank you... and no problem.
He would stay where he was as the others crowd around the dragon, seeing no point in doing so as he could see just fine from where he was. Though at the name suggestion, he can't help but raise a brow. The name was... cute... kind of funny, but wasn't a name for a dragon. He was glad that Kasha spoke her views on the name so that he didn't, hoping the druid would come up with something more suitable for such a magnificent being.
At introductories, he would give a sheepish wave and say his name, unsure if it could really understand him anyhow.

Alys’ eyes would go wide at Kasha’s raspberry, but sure enough her cheeks would go red on their own accord and the elf would giggle. She’d step back and wait patiently with a smile while everyone made their introductions to the new addition first, and continue to hold off in case there was anything else Kasha or the others wanted to add.
Eventually, the elf too would reach her hand out to allow the hatchling to take a whiff of her scent. “Hi. I’m Alys.” She’d say simply. As much as she wanted to try scooping up the awe inspiring adorable creature, she was no dragon whisperer. “Hungry?” Alys would reach for a small morsel from the package and offer it to the baby dragon.
"I'm not calling you Cheddar."Kasha says, shooting an annoyed glance to whoever's idea THAT was, and turned back to the baby dragon, watching it, hopefully, eat from Alys's hand. "How about..Aryniastrix? Aryn for short."
"Sure, that works. She's only been out of the egg for three minutes, so it's not like she's attached to the name Cheddar." Vastra says as the dragon nibbles out of Alys' hand.

Alys couldn’t help but chuckle at Kasha’s relief. “Aryniastrix.” She’d repeat, hoping she didn’t pronounce it wrong. “Aryn.” The elf will offer the hatchling a second piece as she repeats Kasha’s suggested short form. She’ll look to the druid with a smile, “Aryn can maybe bring us home some ‘cheddar’.” She’ll wink playfully. “Speaking of ‘cheddar’, I couldn’t help but overhear that there’s a significant contribution to Aryn’s food fund.” Alys will smile proudly at the druid for her resourcefulness and desire to contribute to raising their hatchling.
”Would you like to feed Aryn?” She’ll offer Kasha a piece once again to feed the dragon.
