The Exploits of Misfit Company

Alys felt like she was trapped in a nightmare where her sight goes dark and unable to see. She felt like a punching bag and couldn't wake. The cleric then feels one hard punch to the jaw. Her eyes would barely flutter open in time to see the follow up jab for a KO. Alys would put her hand up in one last ditch effort to shield herself. She staggers a little, but steadies herself.

Reaction: Shield second attack. 1st one would hit regardless. Hanging onto portent for now.

Those attacks do indeed hit and Garabad is grappled by Kashasaurus, but he will use two legendary actions to turn into a whirlwind of sand and fly 60 feet away from her!

Malum will attempt to cast Eldritch Blast at Vastra, but she will counterspell!

Aryn will breathe on Imone!

After being disrupted once, a deeply annoyed Bixby looked almost torn between aiding either Alys or Vastra, or... There was no 'or', he swiftly came to realize. And withotu further hesitation, he made his way closer to Alys if he hadn't already, shaking another vial before pressing the radiating rejuvinator (or so he named it) to an arm, restoring at least some vitality. Within that moment, Bixby focused upon the magical concoction, and would use his body as a conduit to direct some of its restorative magic to Vastra as well.

"Stella. Vastra. Focus on that one next!" He calls, gesturing to Zhagar. "You hear me, foolish one? Not only will your work will be undone, but no matter how much you try to resist that fate, all you'll do is hasten your trip to the nines... where  you belong." He adds, lacing some subtle magic into his word as almost an afterthought.

Action: Cast (4th level)Revitalizer and spending 4 Sorcery Points for Twinned metamagic, casting it upon Alys and Vastra(or another, if V not within 5ft of Alys), restoring 20 HP to Alys and 22 to Vastra.

Bonus Action: Expending final Unsettling words to reduce Zhagar's next saving throw by 4. (no save)

Future Reaction: (3rd level)Counterspell vs Next spell cast at 3rd level or above. (DC 14+: 20) with Psychic Sorcery, eliminating the (DC 3: 3) eliminating...no components.

One second he was in her jaws, the next moment he was not. Confused and spitting out sand, Kashasaurus spats and snorts, then roars again at Garabad, lumbering towards him when she can.

That was shit.

It'll feel as if Bixby just breathed new life into her, revitalizing her body once again. She'd take a second to catch her breath. "Thank you B... again. For watching over all of us." Alys will take a deep breath in through her nose to stand up straight.

The divination wizard will look passed her attacker to Zhagar, reaching into his mind to wrack his brain, spiking it. As she does, she feels some of her magic return to her. The wizard will expel that reserve immediately to send some healing words towards her mentor, further supporting Bixby's efforts to mend Vastra.

Dakar was not letting up. Only able to deflect one of the blows, Alys staggers on her feet once again. But she still stands. She’ll spit blood at Dakar’s feet. 

Yvan growls when he sees Garabad escape Kashasaurus' jaws, only to end up further away than before. Confident that Kasha could handle the rest of him on her own, he turns to Dakar who had been troubling Alys since the beginning, and rushes over to knock him down.

Bixby only just shakes off the pain of the jolt when he sees Alys continue to get nearly pummeled to death by the monk. In that moment, an uncomfortable pain hit his heart followed by a rush of heat to his face. Feelings both familiar and foreign that threaten to overwhelm him. He visibly shook his head as if to throw off the sensation, but to no avail. Worst yet, the attempt alone on intensified the feelings.

'Not... now... Need... Focus... Expunge... Remove... I can do this.... without.... Leave... Me... ALone!' He bellowed within at the end. Though outwardly he would remain a perfect model of neutrality, his nose began to bleed as he stood frozen on the spot. Seconds later, as if manifesting from the air itself unbidden by any will, the weave becomes visible for a split second as a manifestation of chaos shot from the distorted space right for the monk.

Bonus Action: Convert (2nd level)spellslot into 2 sorcery Points.

Action: Cast (1st level)Chaos Bolt at Dakar with Psychic Sorcery, eliminating (DC 1: 1) all components.

With a flick of her wrist, Alys will counterspell to save Kasha from some serious heartburn.

The elf's breathing was sharp. She was fighting the tunnel of dizziness from closing in. That spell took from her highest reserves. Alys couldn't tell whether her foe still stood, but she sensed much relief from Yvan and Bixby coming to her aid against Dakar. Thank you... Another attack like that, would spell lights out Alys.

Taking in the largest inhale and focusing through the sparks, Alys will grip her healing staff. "Soeh al faenya kess!" The cleric will slam it on the ground, sending another wave of her magic washing over the group. They were in this together.
