With the two spells affecting him now, he felt as if there was a war happening within his body. He moved normally, thankfully, but still couldn't bring himself to enter a rage to give him some more edge. And even with the assistance of Alys' spell, Yvan wasn't fast enough to get out of the way of the lightning bolt. He hisses at the pain, but pushes forward and keeps attacking the mage to the best of his abilities!

“Woop!” Alys would swing her hip to the side, dodging Ogleus’ tentacle that lashed out at her.

Alys Dex Save: 9 

“Woop! Woop! Woop!” The wizard would dance around with awkward footing, dodging the lightning that came shooting out of the book.

“Woop.” Alys would finish her last step, sending a healing word Stella’s way before flicking out a fire bolt to Ogleus.

Obsidian screamed and leapt aside as Kasha caught the full brunt of the lightning bolt. It felt like every single nerve ending in her body was on fire, terrible fire, for too long a moment. Half of her body was scorched and had under skin burn marks as the force of the electricity threw her to the floor. 

Fighting back tears of pain and frustration, she laid face down on the floor and her hands became fists as she smoldered, propping herself up on her elbows.

"****! I'm getting..really SICK..of this guy!!" she yelled out loud.

Obsidian face nuzzled her, looking at her with a nervous visage, thinking this was the moment, the first one, where she would completely lose her shit. He meowed.

"I'm good. I'm good.." she breathed, getting back up. "Ow.."

"Oh good heavens..that looks like it's gonna leave a mark." said Dr. Nuts as he sprinted over to the druid as she was getting up, peering through his glasses. "Hold on, i've got an ointment for that. Just a moment. Hold sti- Kasha! Hold still! Wait!! Wai-"

Kasha threw her hands upward, and sharp, brilliant, beautiful white moonlight dawned upon Ogleus, burning him with radiance.

CON save DC16 for half of 15. ******* nuts...

"Yes..?"

Dr. Nuts healed her for 17 hit points.

Kasha's beam doesn't deal much damage, but it's apparent that the unit that houses Ogleus' brain won't able to withstand your assault for much longer. He holds up one of his tentacles towards Stella, ready to fire a beam of potent arcane energy. 

"HALT" He says, speaking telepathically. "PERHAPS I WAS TOO QUICK TO COMMENCE HOSTILITIES. I AM WILLING TO DECLARE A TRUCE, IF YOU CAN TELL ME WHY YOU HAVE COME TO MY TOWER. PERHAPS WE SHALL NOT NEED TO SLAY EACH OTHER. BUT DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY WILLINGNESS TO NEGOTIATE! IF YOU TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME LOWERING MY GUARD, I WILL SLAY THIS WOMAN. ASK YOURSELVES IF YOUR VICTORY IS WORTH HER BEING A PILE OF DUST."

 Bixby eventually peels away from the wall enough to stand on shaky feet, having been practically plastard against it by the lightning bolt. Though he yet somehow retained control over facial muscles to keep from contorting, arms jerked and neck twitched erratically from many a misfiring nerves.

"I will keep this simple and brief, good doctor." Bixby said, barely managing an air of calm as the form gets strainghtened out for a more formal posture. "It is said you have a stablized, natural portal to Astral Space within the vicinity fo this tower. As mercernaries by trade, perhaps we can procure something on the otherside or this side in exchange of free access to it, and any knowledge you're willing to share pertaining to it. A much better use of your time than likely suffering the wrath of several very displeased individuals, if you should be force to carry out your threat with very active imaginations. Does that... sound more agreeable?" He asked in between coughs near the end.

Alys would shift. As the mage readied up, so did she. The wizard would hold her position firm as Bixby would step forward to negotiate. She trusted his Silvertongue.

Stella continues standing there paralyzed, ******* furious that she's being used as a hostage.

Ogleus points using one of the tentacles that isn't holding a beam that'll vaporize Stella. "THAT OVER THERE?" He says pointing to the portal at the other end of the room. "GO THROUGH IT, GET WHAT YOU WANT FROM THE ASTRAL PLANE, AND THEN LEAVE THIS TOWER AND NEVER RETURN."

"I'm not leaving without her." Kasha says. "Let her go, and we will be on our way. You have my word."

"THE BEHOLDER MAGIC WILL WEAR OFF. GIVE IT ABOUT 42 SECONDS."

******* hell, I don't even have to roll that high!

Kasha stood there, glaring at the ****er, waiting 42 seconds. Once the magic wore off, she picked up Stella and, still glaring at Ogleus, helped her walk through the portal.

A frown briefly graces the edges of Bixby's lips. Yet when the part, the man hesitates for a moment, and then simply went into a formal bow. "It shall be done, and your magnanimity is most appreciated. May your future endeavors go well, and might you consider my advice regarding visitors in the future." He said, finding more appropriate words prior to following the others through the portal. Knowing Yvan, he did not try to be last, and simply hoped the helmets did their job well, ensuring all made it to the other side.

When the paralyzation finally wears off, Stella proceeds to glare daggers at the wizard as she sheathes her still-clean blades and walks through the portal with Kasha, just barely managing to keep her mouth shut before she says something that ****s this deal up.

"Now's not the time." Kasha whispered to Stella, perhaps implying the possibility of sweet sweet retribution in the future.

Yvan had held his next set of attacks when the brain began to speak of negotiating. He watches the beam charge as Bixby explains, ready to, if needed or even possible, to get in front of it to take it for her. When they seem to come to an agreement, Yvan watches the mage closely as they others file their way through the portal. He, of course, goes last, and doesn't keep his eyes off them for a moment, just in case...

Alys for once, did not want to stand down. She was surprised they negotiated and took the deal so easily. The elf would blink a few moment in disbelief when Bixby would be so complacent and head through the portal.

The Wizard would not move until everyone else went in, with the exception of Yvan of course. It would take their goliath to coax her to move, she was almost refusing. Though, with a gentle nudge and being lead, Alys would pass through the portal.
