Kasha literally explodes in happiness at being chosen by the fire genasi. She looks over her shoulder and waves Yvan on up eager to either dance with him, or see him dance. Mostly, she wanted to have fun. Almost oblivious to what everyone else in the party was doing, she was filled with celebration and revelry that she had to unleash. While Yvan was considering how to answer the question, she did her best to copy the other professional dancers while eagerly waiting for Yvan to join.
Kasha didn't wear lots of clothing, and was used to warm weather, and at best, wore sandals, shorts, and a weathered half shirt with a leather vest.
"Meee too~"Barnabus pipes up from beside Alys, standing almost eye level with her as he too eyed everything with wide-eyed interest. And yet, for all of the black-haired half-orc's boyish looks, he had refrained from immediately darting off and getting lost in the crowd. Not that was any surprise to the group. For despite appearing to be a little more than fifteen or sixteen years of age, messy haired, and slightly disheveled like someone who just got out of bed, the tendencies of someone three times his age bled through at times. After Barnabus adjusting his flat cap for the umpteenth time, a pair of callused thumbs are slipped behind suspenders as half-orc leaned in the direction of musky animals for a deep whiff.
"Ahhh~ Normalcy!" He would say, letting the suspenders snap back into place over broad shoulders and robust frame.. "Anyhow. Time to go pick up a few knicknacks. Maybe even find our next job among the slummers or shopkeeps." Sparing the others one last toothy smile, a soon after happily whistling 'teenager' starts breaking away to roam among the vendors. Despite having called them knickknacks, everything from acids and holy water to ball bearings and climber's and books are chief among attraction for the half-orc. All things with the potential to help in future adventurers over the leisurely pursuits. Though he takes exception for musical instruments, if just to replace a set of pan pipes. Although all the while he tries to keep an ear and eye out for posts for work or gossip in the same vein.
"Oop!" Alys pulls herself away from the entertainment before she gets distracted for too long. She'd snap her book shut and tuck her pen into her hair while scurrying to catch up with Barnabus. "Wait for me! You always find the better shops for these things!" Possibly the more naive and gullible of the bunch, Alys always tried to make sure she tags along with someone while shopping, whether she was wanted or not. She could get suckered into going overboard. This time she'd try to stick to her list... mostly.

Rinn: "Are you sure? You look like the fighting type, and I wouldn't want to go into battle without something protecting the family jewels." He jokes, before going in the back for a moment and coming back with a chain shirt that appears to be made out of regular steel, except you see that faint bluish tint that Mithral possesses."150 gold. It's more than the standard cost, but it's much lighter than the standard chain shirt, not nearly as noisy, and it'll fit under your leathers like an undershirt." He picks up your interest in his gauntlets. "It's a Dwarven rune. Nothing magical or anything, just a simple G for Gunnar. It's just something I do to let people know that these are my wares."
Stella: The fish vendor takes down one of the smaller fish and gives it to you. It costs 1gp. You arrive at Gunnar's Gauntlets as he places the chain shirt on the counter. "Welcome to Gunnar's Gauntlets. Are you looking for anything, miss?"
Alys and Barnabas: You're able to find a vendor that sells both armors and components for your spells. The total price for all of Alys' goods comes out to be 210 gold, a significant portion of the gold that you've saved up for spending.

Yvan wasn't fond of festivals. There were usually too many people, and he would stick out like a sore thumb at them. People would gawk at his size (a staggering 7 feet 5 inches), whisper about the scars he had on his face and what they could see of his bandaged hands then gossip about him, thinking he couldn't hear what they were saying. He keeps silent though, letting them assume what they pleased about him as he would hope they would forget his face eventually. Though, he was worried now that he had his black hair pulled back into a bun (as opposed to it normally being down, thanks to Kasha managing to convince him in doing so) that they would remember him. They won't find me here, he reasurres himself, they wouldn't come this far.
When Kasha tugs on his furs and points to where she wanted to explore, the silent giant has no qualms in following behind her to make sure she didn't get into any trouble. He knew she was very much capable of handling her own, but he had grown fond of the druid in their traves. She knew much about nature, and Yvan, having an interest in the wilds and animals, naturally gravitated to her. He would say, in a way, they balanced each other. She was more wild and outgoing as Yvan was more quiet and kept to himself.
Such as now. Yvan watched how excited the other grew at the chance to dance, and when the arm was offered to Yvan, words got caught in the back of his throat as nervousness bubbled at the pit of his stomach. He looked to Kasha who was already being escorted to the dance floor, but was waving him over to come and dance too. He looks to the fire genasi, hesitant in taking the offer, but gathers the courage to do so then says, "No... I do not. I've never... learned."
It's ya boy:

Stella hands Obsidian the fish, and the small cat tears into it happily, licking his lips as he swallows bites. Stella smiles at Gunnar. "Oh, I'm with him." She indicates Rinn. "Find anything you like, Rinn? That's a lovely mithral."
Kasha knew Yvan would most likely say no, so she wasn't too disappointed at his response.
"Better late than never you big silly!"she yelled over the crowd to him, playfully.
When the opportunity arose, however, she gave him a playful dirty look of unhappiness, but couldn't hold it for very long. Her false expression crumbled and she laughed, but was happy he was there to watch. She allowed herself the enjoyment of trying to copy the dancers, and even went as far as to stand perfectly still up on stage for a few moment, does her best to imitate how Yvan was just standing there. After too long a moment of looking just like him, she continued to dance and enjoy herself until the performance had ended.
Rinn and Stella: "Ooh, so you're a couple then?" Gunnar says. "Congratulations, the two of you are a good looking pair."
Kasha and Yvan: The Genasi smiles as you except his offer and leads you over to the side with Kasha to the rest of the audience members who got pulled into it. He shows you how to perform the dance they're doing, which is actually not too difficult once you've been walked through it slowly. Once he's finished, he leads you all over to the rest of the dancers, but not before saying one last thing. "While I have shown you how we dance, there is no need to feel constrained to it. Guided towards a shop by Burnaby, Alys' wide-eyed expression continued as she scanned and started picking out the goods on her list. She may have been a little too excited and missed Burnaby's smooth introduction to the vendor. But assured by his toothy grin, Alys would do her best to replicate his confidence with her own as she approached the salesman herself.
"Good day sir!" Alys wore her fathers amulet around her neck, which was the holy symbol of Oghma. Seeing as this was a festival celebrating the Gods of Light, she figured pulling it out and making it visible may gain her favour with the locals. "I'm excited to be here to celebrate this year. I hope to purchase this bulk of wares, perhaps at a volume discount? I'm happy to spread the word of the quality of wares received." Alys would smile and perhaps bat her eyelashes once or twice as the salesman tallied up her goods.

Stella laughs. "Why, thank you." She winks and stage whispers to the dwarf. "Unfortunately, he hasn't taken the hints yet." She turns a sparkling smile on Rinn. "So, what're you thinking of getting?"
Obsidian finishes his fish and sets about fastidiously licking the bones.
Alys and Barnabas: Alys, you are successfully able to bargain for a 15% discount, reducing the price of goods by 32gp. Your confidence is boosted as a result of proving your skill as a haggler, as well as the increased physical protection and the components that you need for your spells. As you follow Barnabas while he does his shopping, you're drawn to a vendor that's selling sticks with meats, vegetables, and fruits all through them. It smells and tastes wonderful, with the meats, fruits, and vegetables all combining in a perfect trio of flavors. But you also taste some exotic spices on your tongue. They taste really good, but they also make your mouth water and it feels rather hot!
Kasha: You allow the music and the passion to overtake you, breaking from the dance that the rest of the performers are doing. However, your movements are more fueled by passion than anything else, lacking the finer coordination of the dancers. After a few moments of frenetic motion, you trip and fall right on your ass. There's some among the crowd, but the dancers generally have respect for you, as you truly did possess passion. The Fire Genasi that brought you over lifts out a hand to pick you up."
Yvan: You actually do better than you were expecting to, controlling your body and keeping up with the rhythm as you largely do your own thing. You're so into the beat of the music that you don't notice how you're the center of attention, until you hear some applause tossed in your direction, with the other dancers having backed off a bit, allowing you to have the spotlight for a brief amount of time. Eventually, you return to the background as someone else goes in front, and as you dance with the rest, you see Vastra in the background, smiling at you. She cups her hands to her mouth for a few moments before releasing them in your direction, clearly having just sent some message to you with her magic. You did well, Yvan. It's good to see you having fun. You hear her say, as if she was there whispering it to you.
Eventually the dance finishes and you all rejoin the rest of the crowd as you proceed through the festivities. Vastra is there to meet you, holding two bags; one containing a few wines, the other containing some books. There are also two potions hanging at her belt. "I split off to buy some things when everyone split up, as well as turn in our horses and check in at the Golden Draught. But I managed to get here in time to see the two of you perform."

"Whoopsie!"Kasha turns beet red. "Looks like someone fell on their bum bum. Little too much passion there. Ha ha!" she laughs nervously, looking around shyly. "Great job, Yvan! Come on, lets go join back with the others. That was fun! Oh look, there's Vastra!"
A little sweaty from the dancing, Kasha had a smile on her face. "Vastra, did you see me dance? And fall? Hopefully just the first part. Not the falling part. Oh! You got something to drink. Awesome. I'm thirsty from all that falling. I mean dancing." She takes one of the bottles, uncorks it, and starts chugging loudly.
"Wait a minute. This isn't water."she said, confused, then proceeded to take another few chugs before re-corking the bottle and putting it back. "AaAahh.."she said, wiping her mouth, refreshed.

"Hm? Hmm~ What can I say. Must be in the blood!" Barnabus jest, having already half expected Alys to either follow him. It's part of why he hadn't put all that much effort into his more usual habit blending into the scenery. For despite possessing fairly handsome features(only enhanced by the scar running across his lips), and an easy going demeanor, the spotlight never fit him. At least until the time came for a flute busting half-orc to take the stage for a distraction or two. THEN there was no stopping him!
But in any case...
'Not bad, Al' A smooth but more eiree version of Barnabus voice enters Alys' thoughts. An experience probably no less disturbing than past incidents. Yet, a useful trick. He even tried to teach the trick once or twice, only to be ultimately relegated to playing radio tower whenever Kasha couldn't leave the form of beasts, or Furlong and Stella needed to scout ahead of the party. Something about their 'eyes being wide shut to the world' spoken in ominous tones', or so he concluded after awhile. 'I knew you had it in you. Really! I only had to chime in once through here! Your cold reading could use some work, but we can come back to that later, if'n ya wish' Barnabus adds, a smile touching his lips as he studied other wares.
"Ohh~ That smells good. A bit too spicy for my blood, but we should bring some to Yvan. He'll get a kick out of'em -- Oh what's this?" His gaze locks on to a shimmering set of cloth. "Did that just flicker a moment? Oh my, oh my! How much for that lovely thing? You made this yourself, didn't you? You certainly seem to have the hands for it, if not the eyes for finding the right talent. The name is Barnabus, by the way, and this Alys, members of the Misfits, at your service."And on he goes to both current and future vendors, but not always in a similar vein when it came to his haggling. Sometimes it was flattery. Other times, its a respectful challenging silver tongues. And at others still, he seems to take almost one look at a person, and offer a measure of insight to help them improve their business. No matter how diverse the vendors he comes across in his search for goods, Barnabus stays mindful to tailor the approach the person.
There are times he manages to both haggle AND teach Alys the clues to look out for in deals.
(if only for the record, here's barnabus shopping list:)

Dancing wasn't too much of a thing where he was from. They had occasional celebrations, and the goliaths way of dance wasn't as... fluid as theirs was. The fact that he managed to keep up and get into the music and not fall on his ass like Kasha did was an accomplishment of its own, but when he notices that all eyes were on him he stopped. He was thankful that the dancers had returned back to their place and took the spotlight from him while he shuffled off to meet with Vastra and Kasha, his face burning in embarrassment. "Should we... find the others? Or is there more shopping to be done?" He questions between the two girls.

Rinn and Stella: Gunnar accepts your gold and waves the two of you off, jokingly wishing that you have fun on your 'date'. There are plenty of food vendors that the two of you can go to for a meal, or you could try a tavern if you wish to sit down while you eat.
Kasha and Yvan: "Hi! Yes, I saw the both of you perform. It looked like the two of you were having fun!" Vastra's eyes go wide for a moment when she sees Kasha take one of her wine bottles, open it, and start taking several gulps. "No, that's wine. Usually you're not supposed to drink that much that quickly unless you wish to get incredibly drunk." She turns to Yvan. She slowly tilted and didn't realize it. Smiling awfully wide, like she was dreaming, or lost in thought, it was a silly grin. She leaned heavily against Yvan, and she would slowly blink her eyes - but the lids wouldn't close together at the same time, they acted independently.
"Whoa."she slurred. "Who tilted the ground towards the left. Wait a second..that wasn't water."
Alys held her journal in her left hand while simultaneously still holding a few of the vendors meal sticks to share with the others, woven between her fingers. She had the one Barnaby passed on held in her mouth to gnaw on, her mouth still salivating from the flavours that lingered on her tongue. This left her right hand free to jot down notes: Do not over kiss ass. She'd tuck her pen back into her hair before putting her book away.
"Mmm!" Alys would pat around herself, trying to feel for some supplies, only to realize she has no waterskin or rations. She'd roll her eyes to herself before taking the stick from her mouth. "Looks like I don't have anything to wash this down with! Or to snack on later..."

This isn't water." she said, confused, then proceeded to take another few chugs before re-corking the bottle and putting it back. "AaAahh.." she said, wiping her mouth, refreshed.
The name is Barnabus, by the way, and this Alys, members of the Misfits, at your service." And on he goes to both current and future vendors, but not always in a similar vein when it came to his haggling.

Rinn blushes a bit at Stella’s comment. “I’ll admit most hints have to smash into my face for me to get them, but I promise to be a bit more perceptive,” he offers a quick smile, before turning back to Gunnar. “Well, I’d promised this lovely lady a fine meal, but that Mithral is too good to pass up. I’ll have to leave the gusntlets for now so that I can salvage some sort of meal for milady, but I’ll take that fine shirt.”

Barnabas: The vendor seems rather annoyed at you for thinking that you can get yourself a better deal by kissing his ass. He charges you an extra 5%, bringing the total cost to 163 gold. You see Alys paying attention and taking notes like she's in class watching a lecture.
"Well, my shopping is done, I've gotten everything that I want, but if there's something that the two of you want, we could go shopping. Or we could try and seek out the others. And maybe get a snack."

Kasha, looks away, sniffs the air again loudly, wiping her damp forehead with her arm. "Do you guys smell that? Can we go see whatever that is? I don't need to buy anything, but that sugary smell is making me drool."
That's not water: 3
She slowly tilted and didn't realize it. Smiling awfully wide, like she was dreaming, or lost in thought, it was a silly grin. She leaned heavily against Yvan, and she would slowly blink her eyes - but the lids wouldn't close together at the same time, they acted independently.
"Whoa." she slurred.
