Courage gets up his shield in time and bunkers down for the impeding wave. And though left hurting bad he's able to get the staff up again to unleash one last cone of cold, before putting it away and rushing the knight's position for another Thund-ah punch! Souperb, who had been hid behind the creature's own head, slourps his way up after to mess with its visor and generally make a nuisance of himself just in time for Stella's strike.

Action: Cast from Staff of Frost a Cone of Cold, inflicting 44 Cold Damage. Con Save(DC 17) for 1/2 damage. 

Hasted Action: Thun-dah Punch Augeron.
(Lethal)Thunder Gauntlets - Attack: 1+25 Damage: 11 thunder damage.

Alys would stare Augeron in the eyes as he’d prepare his cast. Her blue hues would cloud over white. Gritting her teeth, the wizard would brace herself for the upcoming supernova.

Portent use: 20 to dodge half damage

Beneath her breath, Alys would begin to sing a gentle melody to herself, one that reminded her of a warm safe embrace. With graceful movement, she’d step up next to Vastra (and Stella?). Then with a few gestures of her hands and a flourish of her wrist, a faint glimmering barrier would begin to materialize around them.

The elf would then sneak a hand in her pocket to courageously pull out a stashed snack to nibble on.

Yvan wasn’t fast enough to avoid some of the damage done by the supernova, but thanks to Alys’ earlier healing on him, he manages to keep standing. With labored breaths, he takes a quick survey of how everyone was holding up, noting that everyone was still standing, save for Vastra, but it looked to be that Alys had been watching over her.

They were alive, that’s what mattered most.

Never one to have used potions before, what better time to use the one he got from Courage than now? The goliath unhooks it from his belt, uncorks it and downs it.

Alys would finish nibbling on her snack, sweeping crumbs from her cloaks furs. Her blue hues would watch them fall all over her mentors unconscious body before glancing back up at the foe. Then, her eyes would go wide and she’d take a double take. Vastra!? The young elf’s heart would skip as she’d frantically look Vastra over. She could swear the powerful wizard was still standing when she checked before she summoned her bubble! Guilt immediately began to eat away at the young wizard. Bending down, she’d hastily brush the crumbs off Vastra, apologizing profusely. I’m so sorry. You had hp. I swear! Alys knew Vastra wasn’t dead, but damn she felt bad. She’d move some hair away from Vasra’s face before she’d take hold of her staff. Alys would begin to sing a melody.

KAPOW another hit sends Kashasaurus staggering. She shakes her head and lets out a bellowing roar, REALLY annoyed at getting hit multiple times.

Courage proves to be a nimble bugger, as it takes little effort to sidestep the strike. At least not while the armor's system remained overclocked for peak performance. However, in the wake of the attack he finally notices Vastra's condition. Even with Alys immediate stabilizing efforts, the oversight left him stunned for a moment. Then, the tiefling turned back on the knight, glaring as the augmented Yklwa gets drawn once more.

A word in infernal gets barked, prompting Souperb to once again get in position to aid[/action Stella, if she should need it. Courage meanwhile steeled himself, and upon finding an opening in the guardian's guard the moment Kasha struck, rushed in himself for a blitzkrieg of stabs.

Whatever damage had been dealt from that last blow on him, his wounds are quickly taken care of by Alys' healing magics, and he doesn't need to pass a glance in their direction to know Vastra would be up and back into the fight in no time as well.

With a growl, he brings down his sword once again!

"Ellietara darling, kill the giant star man."

She obliges!

One more hit like that and Queen Kashasaurus would be finished, or perhaps, captured and sent to some place called South America for some sinister research purpose, or something. If she lived through this, she would spend two days eating the corpse.
