Kasha stared in absolute wonder as the scene before her unfolded. She didn't say a word, she only watched and marveled.
Wisdom Save: 25
She calmly sat cross legged, hands on her knees, and absorbed all the wisdom and insight she could gleam from the situation. As the two gods argued, she seemed completely at peace.

Alys wisdom: 14
Alys' eyes were so wide, they'd fill her lenses. She dare not blink. The elf would pat herself down looking desperately for her pen and journal without moving her gaze from the scene before her. Realizing they were probably left behind with her weapons, she would absentmindedly reach out and start patting around with both hands to find the shoulders of Yvan and Kasha. She'd plop herself between them whether there was room or not. Alys needed to feel grounded and they felt like the best two. Never looking away. Never blinking. This green's not THAT strong... is it?

Vastra stared at the scene before her with awe. She had read about many incredible things in books when she was studying at the Academy, but this was different. She was on a new world, watching two gods fight over the fate of the young races.
Furlong, horrified by the primitive humanoids and the prospect of the Devourer returning him to a time without finery and etiquette, he reels, clutching his temples as a headache comes on.
The scene fades and switches to another one. It's day now and while you can't tell how far forward you've gone, it's evident that some time has passed, as you now see people wearing clothes that are made out of fabrics and not just simple furs, as well as other signs of technology such as roads, actual houses and buildings instead of huts, carts, and they've begun to use simple magics to improve their lives and make things easier on themselves.
"Ultimately, Mielekki's vision came to be. The Gods of Light did not will it for their creations to remain ignorant, but to instead grow and make use of the spark of life that they had been given. Circles of huts became villages with buildings of brick and mortar. Dirt paths were replaced by roads of stone. Metal had been discovered for tools and weapons to be forged and magic was coming into the world. Further advances seemed not only inevitable, but effortless."
Suddenly, this peace is interrupted. The village is suddenly attacked by terrible creatures of vine and bone with teeth and claws that are dripping with corrosive fluid. Flesh is torn apart and bones are broken as the monsters savagely attack the unprepared citizens. Meanwhile, a storm breaks out and buildings are destroyed as hail falls from the sky and the ground shakes violently.
"The Devourer was infuriated that Mielekki's vision had come to pass over his. Instead of accepting the natural course of events, he became bitter at the Gods of Light and their creations. He stewed in his hatred and wrath until he became one of the Gods of Darkness. He created foul creatures and stirred up storms with the sole intention of destroying humanoids and their creations."
Witnessing the carnage brought on by The Devourer's hatred is a terrifying sight. Everyone roll a DC14 Wisdom Saving throw or take 8 points of psychic damage.

Alys wis save: 20
She’ll glance over her shoulder, seeing Rinn struggling. She’d pat a spot close to her Kasha and Yvan, encouraging him, or any one else for that matter to join them.
(If it’s allowed and if she still has her symbol, she’d want to offer cure wounds, especially if there could be another hit? Or is that part of the ‘test’ to see if we make it through all the scenes? lol)
Yvan is in awe of the sight, but his eyes are ripped away from it partially due to some of his friends getting mentally inflicted. He is unsure of what to do to help in this situation, and could only hope that they could endure it until the test was done. As Alys did though, he would pat the spot next to him and urge them to come sit next to him, in hopes that simply being near him and friends would help them suffer a little less.

Bivaris Wisdom: 17
Bivaris grips the sides of her head, clearly in pain as she is unable to endure what she's seeing. Ilixia speaks to you all.
"The final stage of the test is upon you. Those of you who have struggled must endure this or you will not be able to enter the Sacred Grove. Those of you who have endured, know that you will not have to endure much longer."
The scene changes. Mielekki is standing outside of the forest with her army composed of Paladins, Rangers, Clerics, and Druids of all races, as well as angels and nature spirits that follow her. They rush into battle against the Devourer and his army of mad Druids and abominations made out of vine and bone. It's more intense than any battle that you've ever seen or been in before, with two gods clashing while valiant heroes invoke the power of their goddess to fight monsters created by an evil god.
"Mielekki was outraged by the destruction and she refused to sit idly by while the Devourer and his legions brought down destruction on the world and it's people. She gathered up her followers and came to this very forest to do battle with him thousands of years ago. After a long battle, she managed to beat back the Devourer and force him from this plane of existence. Most of his army was destroyed, but his stronger lieutenants could only be banished away. Even for the goddess, it was no small endeavor to cast the Devourer out and despite the victory, her army had suffered great losses in the battle."
The scene changes once more. Everything goes dark, even to those who would normally be able to see with darkvision. You only know that the rest of your company is present because you've all gathered so close together. And Ilixia's voice is the only thing that lets you know that she's still present as well.
"One of those lieutenants, Melkithon, was sealed away in a demi-plane. Like his master, he cannot influence events on the Material Plane, but if agents of evil are working to break those seals and return him to this plane, he will once again be able to wreak havoc in his master's name. Those working to bring this monster back into this world must be stopped. You must pass the test and gain entry into the Sacred Grove!"
In the distance, but still all too close, you see a hideous abomination with pointed writhing tendrils made out of bone and vine. From it's large maw you see acid pouring out. The creature howls and thrashes about in a fit of madness. Seeing this creature tests the strength of your hearts and minds once again, roll a final DC16 Wisdom Save or take 21 psychic damage.
