(Xanlanann decides to throw caution to the wind and rush the Goblins! He misses with his Rapier but manages to seriously wound one of the Goblins with his dagger! Out of nowhere, another arrow flies at Xan! It looks like the Serious Goblin has been laying in ambush out of your lines of sight and is trying to pick off the Rogue, but has a little bit of a hard time because it's a moving target.)
Serious Goblin: Attack: 12 Damage: 4
(The Arrow finds it's mark and Xanlanann is very, very badly hurt, struggling to retain consciousness, dropping to a knee. One of the other Goblin reaches for his Scimitar with a look of fiendish glee and tries to finish Xan off!)
Attack: 18 Damage: 5
(Xan manages to weakly parry the blow with his Rapier, but is now surrounded and very vulnerable!)
Fredrick, you're up. Erhorn, feel free to let me know when you want to take your turn.
DMs note: You all will no longer trigger an attack of opportunity if you exit the corridor.

Frederick visibly winces as he sees Xan get struck down, for a moment thinking that his new companion had fallen for good. If he felt he had time to, he would have sighed with relief at the realization that Xan was still clinging on, but there was no time. Frederick, without a thought, let an arrow fly towards the Goblin that had come at him with the scimitar.
Attack: 18 Damage: 6
As the arrow flies through the air, Frederick calls to Xan. "Retreat back to us!" He urges the rogue, though he is unsure whether Xan is even able to move in his current state.

I think Erhorn should take this opportunity to fire his prepared Eldritch Blast at the goblin looking so pleased at being able to finish someone off. Specifically, he'll aim at its face. Even more specifically, its nose.
(To-Hit: 9 Damage: 10)
So he sights down his arm and says the activating word ("pew-pew!") that sends a crackling green bolt flying from his fingers, just before Walton moves.

"Get a move on, Xan! I'll keep those filth busy!"
Walton bellows as he charges into the fray, getting close to lay his hands upon Xan. He spouts out a quick prayer as he places his hand on the injured rogue's shoulder, with his wounds starting to magically mend!
Cure Wounds: 5
When Xan presumably makes his retreat, Walton will guard his back and hold off the goblins.

(Walton's bravery and quick thinking appear to have given his compatriot a temporary reprieve, but now the Goblins see Walton as a major threat! The 2 Goblins retreat a little bit and attack in unison, letting 2 arrows fly at the Cleric!)
Goblin 1: Attack: 7 Damage: 5
Goblin 2: Attack: 19 Damage: 4
(One of the arrows clangs off Walton's shield harmlessly, but, through sheer bad luck, the other arrow finds a very small gap in Walton's armor, lodging deep into his side right under his armpit! Walton is badly hurt, but tries to tough it out.)
Erhorn creeps down to the end of the corridor, crouches and glares at the three goblins. The high elf pulls a couple of tiny tarts out of his spell component pouch with one hand and waves a feather vaguely in the air with the other, all while muttering and gesticulating furiously.
"Bugger!" One of the tarts drops out of his hand and lands on the floor, the other lands neatly on his head, and the spell Hideous Laughter is cast at the goblin furthest to the left of Walton.

(The Serious Goblin isn't so serious anymore, falling to the ground with a fit of the giggles that just won't stop! He laughs and laughs, dropping his bow and rolling over it, crushing it.)

((Apologies. The customer service representatives of my internet provider have a specific ring of Hell reserved for them. I am currently writing up my post, and I'll turn this into an OOC when I have it ready.)
Seeing that the humourless goblin has shrugged off the gift of laughter, but not before breaking his own weapon, Erhorn tries something. His Patron, in addition to granting him a few magic tricks, also gave him a method of secret communication that breaks down language barriers and puts the fear of the unknown into creatures who haven't come across it before. (Great Old One Perk: Awakened Mind)
The High Elf stares at the goblin and creases his one white eyebrow into a frown.
Spoiler for DM:
"Kneel, worm! Kneel or perish, for these lackeys will lop off your head without a second thought! I have use for you if you survive, and there will be murder and plunder aplenty!
"Also, I'll pay you a silver a day if you agree to serve me, with fifteen silver bonus on successful completion of any major tasks I set you, but you must survive first. Surrendering and volunteering to answer the questions of these wandering killers I lured here would probably help with that."
The words sound in the Serious Goblin's mind. Whether it works to cow the little green monster is another story:

(Was that my action? Or was it Interaction? If I have an Action left, Erhorn will use Eldritch Blast on the Goblin trying to bash our Cleric. To-Hit: 18 Damage: 1
If that persuasion attempt was my entire Action, then please ignore this portion
Although, given my roll result, I suspect that Erhorn's mental voice sounds like he's on helium)
DMs note: Glad to have you back, sorry to hear about your customer service hell. I'm in it, too, no high speed internet for 2 weeks, been using my phone hotspot. Sorry, Erhorn, that was in fact your entire turn. It would have been pretty epic and game changing if it worked, though!
(The Serious Goblin looks around quizzically, trying to determine the source of the voices he's hearing in his head. He looks around, frowning. A resolved look suddenly appears on his face.)

OOC: Sorry for the delay, all! Moving to a new home and these last 2 days were insanely busy and tiring. Should go back to normal now.
(Xanlanann's Rapier manages to finish off the Goblin he had injured earlier, but his Dagger attack at the other Goblin is unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, the Serious Goblin is still laughing his little head off.
