The tiefling woman carefully backs away, keeping towards the corner of the room, still looking fatigued and weary.
A moment after the sound of multiple booted marching feet can be heard making their way down the corridor behind the door.

Five figures donning chainmail and with shields raised, a torch at their feet so they can wield their maces

Pogo advances, bringing the mace to bear in contrast to the Banites' own weapon of choice. He attempts to crash it onto the head of the closest one. Mace vs. Banite 1:13 vs. AC. Hit:6 bludgeoning damage.
Axandros conjured a mote of flame, backing up the cleric with some flaming justice Fire Bolt vs. Banite 1:17 vs. AC. Hit:3 fire damage.
The mace crashes into the man's side, as the flame crests over the shield and scorches his face. He cries out in pain, anger in his eye with the skin almost melting off. He looks on the ropes. (Banite: 18 damage.)
The Banites raise their shields, anticipating the counterstrike. Alea's blow is parried. Arrow causes his opponent to have to cross his shield to guard from the jab, leaving his side open for two swift slashes. Khafossi smashes the greataxe down, causing a gash in the shield and a deep cut into his opponent's shoulder. (Banite 3: 7 damage. Banite 5: 13 damage.)
