So with the current global issues thanks to COVID-19 my work time and setup has changed a lot. I will attempt to post when I can, but I may have a day or two of no replies. Apologies if this slows down play more than it already crawls at. Hopefully after a few weeks I can get back into a more constant posting.
With the party patching themselves up, the tielfing woman quietly sits in the corner of the room. After a little while, she approaches Alea, explaining a bit about how she ended up there. She calls herself Vendetta, and she was in the middle of a delivery of wine and spirits for the Oathoon partiar family before she was knocked out in the streets and woke up here. They were terrible with their torturing, asking about the patriar's security details. Whilst she was left alone after a torture session, she heard sounds of heavy stone scraping, and splashing footsteps from the path ahead (the way the Banites came from). Besides that, she hasn't any more help to provide.
(We can fast forward taking the pair of prisoners to the entrance so they can make their own way back to their homes whilst you carry on.)
Edit: autopilot on Pogo. Uses CD to heal Alea & Arrow 5hp each, reboots on the short rest. Spends a hit die for 2 + 1 from Song of Rest.
With the group healed up (see the above edit for HP tracker), the party is ready to set off. The two prisoners are on their way back up to the bath house thanks to your daring heroics, so I guess it's up to you what to do here. There's a few doors down that corridor with the zombies you didn't check, or you can check the path the banites came from.
"...or you can check the path the banites came from."
(OOC: That would be my vote. More likely to find documents about the cult, which will get Captain Hemorrhoid of the Flaming Fists off the character's backs. With the party hurting and in need of a long rest, they may want to skip the zombie rooms entirely.)

Khaffosi watches the others hesitate and wait for something to happen. Shaking his head, he will take down the barricade and take the lead, heading down the stairs.
(Apologies for this week. Change in stuff due to lockdowns etc. has not been good for me.)
Khafossi takes the lead, heading into the dark passage ahead. They head down a staircase, finding a collapsed passage and a turn that the group assumes the banites came from. It opens up from there into a small chamber holding three door, the centre door open ajar, the flicker of torchlight coming from inside.
Khafossi checks the half-open doorway. The room is lit by two sputtering torches in sconces on the north and west walls. A stone sarcophagus in the middle of the room stands empty, its lid half buried under rubble on the floor behind it. It also has a set of blankets in a pile in the corner, as if someone was resting here at some point recently.
Khafossi bravely enters first. The room is silent as the intimidating presence of the barbarian is revealed. After a few seconds her realises it is also silent due to no one else being there. It's likely the people that were there got killed by the party an hour or so ago, in the other chamber.
(I realize this is some work, but could you post a simple map of the area around the party? I'm no longer sure what direction the party is going. Maybe mark the rooms visited with a red X, and places unlisted with a green ?
Last thing Hunferho wants to do is accidentally visit one of those rooms that we think are full of zombies.)

Moving on from the vacant room, the next door is booted open. Four flickering torches in wall sconces light this partially collapsed crypt. An open sarcophagus in the middle of the area is filled to the rim with blood, with spillage streaking the sides of the sarcophagus and pooling around its base. The sarcophagus lid lies half buried under rubble behind it. There comes a weak voice from within. On the floor beside the sarcophagus is a frail looking elderly woman, her hair desheveled and her frame looking bruised and beaten. As the party arrive, she looks up with fear in her eyes, scurrying into the corner as best she can. "No... please, I swear I'll do what you say, just don't..." She says, terror in her voice and hazy eyes of sleep depravation and trauma can be gleamed through the whisps of hair that fall over her face.

Red = doors you haven't opened yet.
Current position = bottom-right, entering the upper of the two rooms.

Apologies, last week was really busy and I've been burning the candle at both ends, trying to keep work during this time and be there for family/friends. I know I neglected to update here, it just slipped from my list of things to do.
Given the amount of inactivity, I'll move onto the next room and see who posts during the next few days, over the Easter weekend.
