Pizazz's Ravenloft and Beyond

Ulthan opens his eyes, the warm feeling of life flowing into his body.  The squeaks of bats is still loud in his ears, though the numbers have thinned out considerably as they all make their way to the hollow spire of Ravenloft to fly to their freedom out in the night. 

The room is much quieter, and the raw stone ceiling above no longer an undulating mass of wings and fur....leaving everyone feeling much more at ease....though they've met their foe yet again....and forced him to flee...once again...sort of. 

Meanwhile however...as the group picks themselves up off the ground and liberally applies some healing to their grievous wounds, their ally Meepo has spent the entire time stuck in a bubble being tormented by three vampire women.  The ladies have moved around the corner...having rolled Meepo's bubble to one side, and none of you can see him from where you stand, outside the teleporting traps....glancing down the stairs....

What do you do for your 3 rounds of actions before Meepo's bubble bursts?

(Mordekai opened crypt 32 to hide from the bats)

Mordekai pushes into Crypt 32 while the bats thin out.....  and glances around.  This crypt is empty except for two alcoves in the back wall. Above the alcoves are carved the following words: PASS NOT THESE PORTALS YE FOOLISH MORTALS.

Does Mordekai see any "portals"? Is he bothered by the bats in here at all? If not, he'll go into the right hand alcove and look around for what the inscription is referring to. If nothing, he'll do the same in the left alcove. If still nothing, he'll sit and wait the bats out here. 

Investigation: 10

Lionel will use Cure Wounds (last 2nd lvl slot) for 9 on himself, trying to usher everyone in one of the already studied crypt until bats are gone and continuing to call Meepo to join them.

(Pretty sure Meepo cannot 'hear' anyone from inside the bubble, but he would probably be passed the information through Rat.)

Meepo would not wait until his bubble bursts to get free, but would give the others time to heal up a bit, prior to getting out of the bubble.

The round before the bubble would burst, Meepo ends concentration on it, then misty steps towards the exit. If within 30 feet of the stairs, he simply appears on the far side of the teleport trap, if not within 30 feet, he simply steps into the teleport trap.

If something changes prior to the bubble being about to burst, then Meepo's actions might change.

     Ketch spends the rest of his healing abilities on his allies, fighting through the bats and the chaos.  “We need to regroup,” he points out. “And get out of here!”

Ulthan ensures all his stuff is gathered up "hrmpfh thanks hrmpfh" as he ambles after the group healing himself. 14, 3, 4. "hrmpfh so now we leave right hrmpfh" Ulthan's face looks healthier though his furs are heavily matted with flesh bits and blood.

Ulthan, Lionel, and Ketch, you're all up in one of the other opened crypts, not having known where Mordekai went. The bats are quickly funneling away, and it's now safe for you to leave the room without swarms of bats threatening you.

Meepo is trying to judge the distance and figure if he can misty step out of here....counting down the moments before his spell ends.  And then Mordekai appears in the room, in one of the three empty alcoves set within the south wall.  

Mordekai, as you step forward to examine one of the alcoves, you suddenly appear standing in the room with Meepo. 

The women all turn and look at him, with a hiss, and prepare to advance.

(Let's roll initiative again, shall we?)

Ladies : 6.  (though if we're being honest, if you are gentlemen, you should let them go first...)

If you go before them, take your turn.

Ketch initiative: 18

     “We need to regroup, retreat and recover our strength,” Ketch says as he steps out of the crypt warily and looks around.  He heads over to the stairs, and the trap, as that’s the last he’s seen of Meepo.

     If he can see either Mordekai he yells to him, asking how he found a way in.., tempted, but not yet daring, to brave the trap.

"So much for a safe pace to hide." Mordekai mutters as he looks up and suddenly sees where he is. 

Initiative: 12

(Is Rahadin dead? For the purposes of transferring Hex? Mordekai will try to transfer it into one of the women, it may work or may not, but I guess that'll tell Mordekai the fate of Rahadin either way)

Mordekai will cast Thaumaturgy making his voice boom to the others and shout "Crypt 32! The alcoves!" Then he'll back away from the women, putting Meepo's sphere in the way too, if that's possible. 

EDIT: I guess the crypts aren't actually numbered! So instead he'll shout, "The crypt with no engraving!"

Meepo initiative: 15

How many rounds left until his spell ends?

2 rounds. Including this one. 

Lionel's Initiative: 13

Someone patched Lionel nodded appreciatively. "Regroup - yes, but looks like recovering is not an option"

If Lionel heard the shout he would walk towards the crypt 32. "Which alcove?!" Since there are two and he would rather not experiment right now. Once informed he would step in the face the vampires.

(I don't actually know - DM didn't state, but Mordekai would've shouted that too.)

Meepo will hold his action, until it looks as if the others are ready to attack the vampire women. Then he would use cower and beg to give them advantages on all of their attacks on them. He would move his globe towards them, I believe he can roll it from inside, and keep close enough to use this option if possible. He would also command his skeletons to go with the others to join him through the alcove Mordekai indicated.

Ketch and Lionel go rushing, looking for the crypt with no inscription, and for the left alcove. In the meantime, the three spawn attack Mordekai. 

Lady 1 first attack:  Claw : Attack: 22 Damage: GRAPPLED.

Lady 2 first attack:  Claw : Attack: 19 Damage: GRAPPLED.

Lady 3 first attack:  Claw : Attack: 16 Damage: GRAPPLED.

Lady 1 second attack:  Claw : Attack: 21 Damage: GRAPPLED.

Lady 2 second attack:  Attempts to bite Mordekai : Attack: 16 Damage: 6 + 7 Necrotic.  (maximum HP's reduced by necrotic damage)

Lady 3 second attack: Attempts to bite Mordekai : Attack: 11 Damage: 6 + 8 Necrotic.(maximum HP's reduced by necrotic damage)

Lionel and Ketch appear in the alcove seeing all three of the women latched onto Mordekai.  One of them with her fangs deep in his neck.  Meepo rolls his sphere closer to the combat and though completely inaudible inside the ball makes such a commotion begging and cowering and grovelling that the three vampire spawn keep glancing in his direction. 

Mordekai, Lionel, Ketch (and Ulthan if you want to be there), you may take your turns. You have advantage on attacks.
