Meepo begins waving his hands and each candle, one after another begins to light up as he crouches within the center of the circle. A few moments later the candles are lit.
The group is arranged around the circle, as are the zombies and skeletons.
What does Meepo do next?
Here is the map, and where I have everyone, let me know if you want to be moved. Yellow is PCs. Green is skeletons. Blue is zombies.
Meepo, the room is round 80 feet across. In the center is a the ritual circle which is 30 feet across. I have you at the center. The room has six book shelves, all pointing in from the outer walls towards the circle, forming six alcoves. There are some tables and chairs in those areas, plus a large shadowy mirror mounted on the outside wall of each. I've positions your skeletons 5 to 10 feet back from the edge of the circle, within the alcoves. (If you want them further away, if they are next to the outer wall, they can be 25 feet away from the edge of the circle at most.) I've positioned the three zombies right next to the circle, equidistant around the circle. I believe you have a total of 19 skeletons and 3 zombies, but I could have miscounted! Let me know if you want changes.

What's the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer? Class.
Ketch would want the bound elf in the alcove furthest away form the door - the one currently between Mordekai and Laffa. He would also want Laffa in that alcove, and himself at the front of it. He doesn't love them being at his back but would rather they be far away from the door, and close enough for him to kill if need be...
(Mordekai would actually take a step back to distance a little from the skeletons in front of him, and also a step sideways towards the bookshelf too, so he's got some kind of line of sight to the door. Other than that, he's ready. )
Meepo, the next part of the ritual is to invoke the princesses name. Does Meepo remember it all? It was pretty long.

Ketch and Lionel position themselves on the other side of the circle with their scout behind them. Laffa does not cooperate with Ketch though, so, if you want to man-handle him into position, we'll have to start some pre-battle initiative / combat. Up to you! :-D Otherwise he finds a side table and stands near it, after inspecting the underside. He has some rope in his hand that he fidgets with.
Mordekai, I moved you so you weren't bunched up with the other but could still see the door. Ok?
(You can go back and search when you were told, if you like....but as the EXTREMELY EVIL DM that I am.... I redacted it almost immediately. As Meepo has an int of 16 I assumed he could remember a name that was told to him in the past few days. If not, then let's pack things up and head out, as we don't have the name.

From a letter written by Machil Rillyn (if that was his name!) praying for her demise...I think. Post #6421, page 321 of the game thread. Is that the full name?
Meepo stood there for a long moment, racking his brains for the name. He knew it, after all he had just memorized it, but, for some unknowable reason, he suddenly couldn't recall it. Then Mordekai spoke and saved the day.
Meepo thank you Mordekai..." Meepo says with a toothy smile for Mordekai. He uses the name Mordekai just told him. (regardless if it is correct or not.)
Meepo states the name. There's a sliver of concern in his heart....this might not be exactly what was stated by that ghost....but...it's all he can remember and at least he's pretty sure he's not missing anything significant. As he finishes the name the candles all flicker and then the flames turn black. They sit there crackling, shining darkness from their flickering tops. The next part of the ritual seems to be to express in writing your intent to free the prisoner. Meepo picks up the parchment and ink....and writes...?

Ketch would most definitely manhandle Laffa into the positioning he wanted. The fact the sad wizard was so opposed to having the two biggest meat shields between him and whatever may be summoned all the more reason for Ketch to insist. IF another party member wants to interpose on Laffa's behalf, Ketch will not create an inter-party combat over the issue... But he will more than happily slap around the wizard.

Ketch goes to grab Laffa but he keeps his distance as he tries to move to another part of the library. Meepo sits in the circle trying to figure out what to write. Lionel stands nearby.
Laffa looks at Ketch, "Hey...I'm not hangin out near you death magnets!" He tries to get away from Ketch.

Ketch, go ahead and make a grapple attack, or...whatever sort of attack you want! :-)

Ketch tries shoving and pushing the sad wizard where he wanted him but Laffa refuses to be directed, instead mouthing off at the Half Orc who is never in the best of moods. "You are an expendable distraction!" Ketch says in a frustrated growl and begins swinging his axe.
Giant Slayer Axe vs Laffa Attack: 14 Damage: 9
and another GSA via War Priest bonus action feature vs Laffa Attack: 28 Damage: 8
One moment Ketch and Laffa are arguing about where Laffa should stand and the next Ketch’s axe is hitting the grizzled wizard with his axe. A spray of red splashes across the floor as the blade cuts into him….and then again as Ketch backswings.
Laffa shrieks in pain and surprise and attempts to cast an invisibility spell. Does Meepo counter spell it?

Staring at the paper for a long moment, Meepo considers how best to state this. With a frown he starts to write...
'Meepo and Meepo friends wish release prisoner.'
He considers it for a long moment. It seems a little too-simple for the grand situation they are in, but, sometimes, simple is best.
Technically, "Meepo and friends" wanted the prisoner dead, but Lionel suspected the ritual did not work like this.
