Mordekai new save without Lionel bonus: 3

Meepo dex save: 10

Meepo casts magic missile sending a single missile to strike each flameskull.

The magic missiles from Meepo slam into magical protection from each of the three skulls.  The 2nd and 3rd skull are looking very bad, but all three are still moving around and flaming.  One and three cackle and let magic missiles come slashing out at two party members. 

Lionel:  13 force damage.

Ulthan :  13 force damage.

Lionel, Mordekai, Ulthan, your turns. 

Another attack on Skull 3 Attack: .13 Damage: 7

Mordekai sees the magic missiles come from the two skulls, and assumes there's something imminent from skull two and sends Eldritch Blast at skull two.

Attack: 11 Damage: 11

Attack: 21 Damage: 8 

Skull 2 explodes into bits as Mordekai blasts it, while skull 3 bursts into bits that scatter across the floor as Lionel smashes it.  He gets a hit in on the 1st skull as well, as does Mordekai, and that skull seems badly damage, though still flying.

Ulthan, Meepo, you can also take your turn now. 

If this is the second turn I kinda did it ahead of time because that's how Ulthan rolls... and his young life where a young mage dipped him in haste potions trying to make him permanently hasted.
Attack 1 vs skull2 16 Damage: 20 (since I'm guessing L attacking the first skull I attacked also means he's blocking my view so attacking skull2 instead)

Mind you ignore attack 3 since only one skull left, and I'm not hitting Lionel... even accidentally...

If it's 3rd round. Ulthan lets another hrmph as the last arrow flies from his bow.

The fragments of the last skull skitter across the ground.  Chunks of skulls litter the floor.  It's quiet.

The walls of this twenty-foot-wide, seventy-foot-long arched corridor are sheathed in amber. The southern half of the hall is scorched by fire, and a charred corpse lies on the floor here, under a burned fur cloak. Several am­ber doors lead from this hall, and three arrow slits are cut into the east wall.  Laying amidst the charred remains of burnt rotted flesh, rotting cloth and charred bones is a long staff that seems to be like a long narrow shard of ice, perhaps 5 feet long.  It has a leather wrapping around it's mid-section which appears untouched by fire. 

There are three arrow slits on the right hand side of the hallway. There are three doors on the left side of the hallway, all formed of large chunks of amber. Large double doors at the end are also carved of amber and closed. 

Ulthan who is working on putting himself out grumbles "Healing would be nice, or else another day resting, which no surprise today, let alone later. Next time we come here worse and worse..."

(I take it, there are no sign of the sword or other Lionel's weapons? And if I am reading it correctly, after skull3 was destroyed byt him, Lionel is supposed to get 11 Temporary HP

Lionel moved along the injured, well, everybody. ((Are Mordekay's HP correct?) He touched the shoulders of Meepo and Ulthan (10 HP Meepo, 15 HP Ulthan, 10 HP to Lionel) letting divine light flow from his hands. "I can not do much, but it will help for now."

"However, before we leave... I swear on my life - I destroyed two of these skulls last time. Yet, here they are. I am not taking any chances here - help me to collect the bones." Whether others helped or not, Lionel will collect as many pieces of the skulls as he can find, and close them in that small empty room companions found before. When it was done, Lionel pointed at the door to the dining room: "I came through here from the balcony. The room I woke up without the sword also had a door to the balcony. The sword was not there, though."

(Yeah, Mordekai's resistant to fire damage and saved one of the fireballs, so took 1/4 damage (6) from one and 1/2 damage (12) from the second.)

Mordekai will investigate (without touching them) the corpse and staff on the floor.  I'm assuming the staff is magical, can Mordekai tell anything about it?

(then for now healing goes to the dying :) )

Meepo would identify the staff, since it appears they have time to do so. He would nod as the healing power washes over him.  "Meepo thank." He would say as his wounds mend somewhat.

Mordekai investigates the body and staff, careful to keep his hands off.  The staff seems obviously magical, like a shard of ice.  The body...he can't tell too much except it appears to have died in fire.  Lionel picks up the bits of skull and throws them into the small room hidden in the the other room with lots of little round holes in it.  The bones discarded in there, he heads back.  Meepo meanwhile identifies staff.  Staff of Frost 

(OOC: The DM will track the charges since you get random charges back each day. An identify spell will tell you how many charges it currently has. It currently has 10 charges, FYI.) 

Meepo grips the staff and holds it close, glancing to the others as he does so.  "Meepo use staff." He says as he glances to the body next.  "Mordekai find anything body?"

Mordekai smirks and shrugs as Meepo picks up the staff he was trying to look at. He glances back at the body and answers, "Yes. It's dead."

Not able to add any more insight to the situation, Mordekai turns to the rest of the group, "Which way now then? Do we clear these sidedoors one at a time?"

"I want to search that other room thoroughly. But may be this is the safest way. At least we can be sure nothing will attack us from there. Let's check it out." Lionel tried the first doo to the south. 

Mordekai readies an Eldritch Blast as Lionel opens the door, just in case. 

Meepo grips the staff as he looks around, his eyes scanning his companions, but then moving to the door Lionel is about to open. He sends Rat to the door as well, wishing to use the familiar's ability to detect invisible things once the door opens.
