Mordekai is a little surprised at being addressed, having assumed the subject of the statue was long dead given the age of the rest of the house. Clearly his new identity is someone significant, and therefore probably dangerous to use as a general identity here. He makes a note to find a way to change his disguise without arousing suspicion.
Mordekai narrows his eyes slightly at the grovelling man. "Please Thistle, continue. I had business in the area, and decided to welcome them in person. Plus, I've always been curious how you handle this bit. Pretend I'm not here, carry on as you normally would, please, Thistle."
Seeing Meepo head back, Mordekai seizes his opportunity. "In fact, why don't I escort this one. Carry on without me."
He heads back with Meepo, and once at a safe distance drops his disguise. "How old do you think that statue was? I didn't expect him to still be alive!"
Thistle makes a frowning face at Mordekai as he speaks. The idol was still a statue, and not life like, so Mordekai's disguise does look a bit....waxy? But either way, Thistle responds with fear as he seems to determine the fake. "No...no...you don't....don't mock the m'lord so...you...he will not be kind...."
Aga steps forward making her demand, and Thistle, more fear, backs away, raising his hands, "M'lord will find you...don't you worry....killing me will only anger him..."

Aga will press the tip of the lance onto Thistle's neck. "That remains to be seen." She snarls. "Now, first question, and I'm almost positive I know the answer, but, would your lord be in any way responsible for what we had just experienced?"
Thistle, with the lance near his throat, cowers and snivels, "Is the weather responsible if you slip in the mud? In some ways yes, in some ways no, please...i greet only...I beg you not to harm me..." he stops his sniveling and makes eye contact with Aga, his voice hardening, "..for your sake."

Aga will keep the lance where it is for a few seconds before pulling it away. "Not my sake." She will take a few relaxing breaths before reverting back to her human form. She will strap the lance on her back. "Well, seeing as we've both threatened each other, I'd say we have reached a mutual understanding. Now, are you going to stand there, or do you have something important to tell us?"
Meepo just keeps walking, not having noticed the hostility behind him, as he is grumbling to himself about ruining of a perfectly good house. He even liked the ghosts and ghouls in there, it was only that door thing that made him mad, well and the ghoul thing clawing poor Rat, but he could get Rat back. Now the house was all burned out and ruined... So many things lost forever now, good thing he got so much out of there before it burned the rest... He glances back at his floating disk to make sure it is all there still. This is when he would notice that the others are still back there talking to that stranger.
"You no come?" Meepo calls back. "Meepo going wagons..."
Olin stands watching the argument, still recovering from what just happened. "Wait, please, Meepo. The others are still talking with this man, and I would like us all to stay together, at least until we're back safely to the wagons."A strange look of realization passes over Olin's face. "If the wagons are even still there. We have been gone a long time."
"Wagons lost?" Meepo has a horrified expression cross his face. "Meepo need find lost..." he says and starts moving even quicker off towards where the wagons were last.
"Silvanus help me." Olin swears. "Meepo! Stop! It is not the wagons that might be lost. It is us!" Olin groans, leaning heavily on his staff, hoping he won't have to run after the kobold. "They are probably waiting for us, but we've spent a night and half a day in that house. We all ran off into the night and for all they know we came to the end that house was trying to give us."Changing tactics, Olin adds, "Please, do not go off alone. If you do either you or maybe some of us might become lost."
"No lost..." Meepo says with a nod, slowing and looking back. "We no lost..." he says then. "Bigs no lost... Big always know where big is..." He glances around. "Big here... Meepo here..." He moves back to the group. "Meepo wait..."
Thistle bows, groveling once more, "Just m'lord say, he hopes you have enjoyed this welcome to his domain. You shall meet him soon."
With that, he begins an awkward hop skip walk with his mangled body, as he hops away down the street away from you.
Meepo looks at his flying disk full of stuff. Everything on it appears....decrepit. The items that had once seemed, dusty, but relatively normal, now looked aged by decades. The leather skin bag is rotted and falling apart, the bones look dry, some are broken into chunks, the leather cloak is rotted and flaking apart, the iron pendant is rusted almost to nothing. He quickly checks the magical items, but they seem to be un-aged.
As far as you know, you've only been in the house for a few hours. Maybe 5 or 6. You expect it to be dawn soon, though the fog makes it hard to tell.

"Was that it? He came to greet us and that's all he had to say? Someone needs to work on their hospitality skills."
For entertainment's sake, Mordekai casts Disguise Self to look like Thistle and turns to Meepo with a huge grin in mockery of this new stranger, making the odd man's features look even odder.
Mordekai turns to Aga, Olin and Kane and bows slightly, imitating Thistle's grovel remarkably well. Then he drops the disguise with a serious and humble look in his eye. "Well, apologies to you all, we certainly didn't intend to drag you into that crazy house of doom with us." Mordekai pauses for a moment, before returning the smile to his own face, "Now what? Back to the wagons? If they're still there, Stanimir and the others must be wondering about us."
(In terms of time, do we get the impression time has passed differently outside the house than for us inside it? We took a long rest in the attic and a short rest in the basement amid the rest of the house's antics, didn't we?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aga let's out a low groan at Stanimir's name. "I dont think that man can help us. If he could, he'd be here." She begins to look around. "Until he decides to show his face, we're on our own. Might as well get acquainted with this place." She takes a few steps, stops, then turns around. "NO splitting up. Anywhere we go, we go as a group." Though it was for everyone, she aimed her stern tone directly at Meepo.
(OOC: RIGHT! THE DM MESSED UP. Sigh. It is now morning! The guy is still there, but the town is a bit different! Time appears to have passed normally outside and aligns with what you guys experienced. Though of course the house, and stuff found in the house have all aged dramatically.)
It's mid-morning when you emerge. The sky is a dull overcast grey, a thin veil of fog still clinging stubbornly to the streets of the sleepy town. The hunched figure of their 'hosts' servant limps away into the fog. Mordekai's illusion shimmers across his form in stark mockery of Thistle, before he dismisses it moments later. Aga stalks up to Olin, Mordekai and Meepo and states her new direction to the party. The shimmering magical disc heaped with aged gruesome trophies hangs in the street around them.
In this distance down the street towards the main square, the group notes that people seem to be up and moving around, though they're little more than shadows in the mist.
Aga takes a few steps around down the street looking for an Inn and spots a shaft of light thrusting light into the thin fog of the street. Above the gaping doorway, a sign hangs precariously askew, proclaiming it to be "The Blood on the Vine" establishment.

(Sorry for the delay today, had to take my dog to the vet, tor his ACL I guess...)
Meepo looks over the stuff on his disk with dismay. Anything that is truly garbage he would push off, leaving a pile of absolute trash on the side of the road. He tries to see if anything he brought out from the house is able to be saved.
"But Meepo saved..." Meepo would say a bit sadly as he takes in the bones and garbage left on the ground. "Was no lost..." He sighs a bit dejectidly and walks off with the group.
"Well, this is better than anything, I suppose. I hope they at least have water, I need a bath..." Aga will wipe a bit of the black gunk off her face as she steps into the establishment.
"Stanimir did mention introducing us to 'Madam Eva' - whoever that is. But I guess if they're still there at this point, they'll wait longer anyway. To the Inn? Doesn't look much better in the daytime than it did last night, but you've got to love a less-than-pristine inn."
Mordekai casts Disguise Self once again - this time assuming the form of a relatively inconspicuous pale-skinned, dark-haired, half-elf.
