In the room with the mural he Meepo walks around. He sees divination and conjuration magic emanating from a spot in the tiled floor. The magic in the mural is gone, though the mural still shows a black dragon battling several folk. The wand stuck in the hole is no longer magical. The left and right walls also have sections that are glowing with conjuration magic.

Meep checks out the flagstone. He sees just the smallest crack in the mortar all the way around, plus a chunk of mortar missing. He uses that corner and a knife to pry up the edge. It swings up enough for him to get his fingers under it. He struggles only a moment before Ketch walks over, leans over, and pulls the heavy stone away and tosses it aside.
There is a leather blanket wrapping up two items. Meepo unfolds them and finds two things glowing with magic. He will identify them shortly as : potion of giant strength (fire) and a Robe of Eyes.

While Ketch is assuredly letting Meepo run things here, he is of course more than happy to lend his own Detect Magic spells or brute strength for investigating. "Should let Lionel or I be poking in where you point us," Ketch suggests. "We're better able to take the blast of anything that may go boom..."
Having found the magical items beneath the floor, the only magical auras left are the strange ones around the entire complex in the walls. But, there is no scar on the wall, and no obvious opening, so you'd have to literally start mining into a wall to determine what's causing the aura.
Otherwise, you're left with one hallway, and one door as the only obvious paths forward. There are three strange crystal spheres in the ceiling of the "Candesca" room with the door that also give off a faint amount of magic. The door appears magically protected. It has a spot in its surface for three triangular items to be stuck into it, but you don't see any such items around.
The floor in the bunk room is slippery with mold and you find yourselves needing to walk very carefully in there. Down the hallway from there, it looks like a natural cave, and you hear the sound of rushing water.

The passage leads to a natural cavern that has been worn smooth by water erosion and is made cool and damp by the spray of a four-foot-high waterfall, which feeds a stream that disappears into a hole at the opposite end of the cavern. A skeletal figure lies sprawled across the floor, its head pointed toward the narrow stream. There doesn't appear to be any exits from here, unless you count up or down the underground stream, which would be a tight fit.

Survival 12. Try to ascertain what killed it, how long ago, any tracks around here. Is it bare or does it have any equipment. I assume it does with cave in, but still... Look for anything of value and put it in a pouch. Then go back out to the others. "hrmpfh dead end dead skeleton we leave now hrmpfh".
The elf, for it appears to be a dead elf, seems to have suffered several broken bones, and seems like he crawled here to die. A long time ago. still though, the trauma to the bones is clear. Poking around, Ulthan finds just there in the water, an ivory drinking horn with a gilded rim. It's not magical but it looks quite valuable.

Lionel looked at the triangular spots, at the spheres above, at the name above the door... "What are the chances that the other side of these spheres is triangular and they would fit that holes on the door and open it? Otherwise, we might need to find that something that fits, and I have not seen anything similar around here."Lionel looked at the word again. "Candesca", said he out loud in a slim hope the word alone would work as a key.
How high is the ceiling? Could one boost another up in order to try and reach the spheres? They're worth a look, if nothing else. We could also always try Dispel Magic upon the door before we decide to try it..
When Lionel says the word, the spheres in the ceiling light up, casting a warm light throughout the space. They are lamps. You check them out closer, but there's nothing in or around them that seems like it would match the spots on the door.

"Dead end. And if we can not find that triangular keys - whatever it is - quite literally, since we are about to face the army. If dispel would not do it, we can try three rocks or something like that. Or simple bushing, of course. Maybe that strength potion helps?" Lionel was just thinking out loud. "Any other ideas?"

“Righto,” Ketch says with a sound of relief in his voice. He steps over to Laffa and grabs him by the scruff of his neck. Ketch the returns to the door, attempts to open it with his left hand, and if successful tosses Laffa through with his right…

Laffa squeals and attempts to break free but Ketch grabs him and drags him towards the door. Ketch reaches the door and slams his shoulder into the door, ready to toss Laffa through. And Ketch bounces off the door that feels like the side of a mountain. No bend, no flex, just an impervious surface. Holding Laffa with a frustrated feeling in his chest, he glares at the door. And a semi-transparent figures emerges. It appears to be an elf. He flies right through Ketch and Laffa....leaving a strangely cold sensation inside Ketch as he passes through. The semi-transparent figure floats towards a table and sits down.

Ketch, who would have used Laffa as a cushion just in case the door was locked, growls and still shoves the sad wizard against the still closed door. "Feels locked to me. What you say?" he asks, even as his attention is turned from one unknowable entity to another...
"It's rude to walk right through a person without a 'How'd ya do', you know!" Ketch advises the... ghost? Phantom menace?
"I am sure he can see it too." Lionel inconspicuously tried to free Laffa from Ketch's clutches while he (actually, Lionel too) got distracted with the ghost. "Do you think it's real? Or an illusion?" Lionel narrowed his eyes at the apparition (Divine Sense). "Is it even aware of our presence?" He came closer to the ghost and tried to catch its eyes.
