Meepo sets up his portable hole on the wall. As it becomes a large hole in the wall, a clattering of equipments falling and skeletons tumbling can be heard. Inside, a small army of skeletons begins picking themselves up and getting ready to follow their masters orders. The stink of three undead zombies oozes out of the confined space. You're not sure you can be sure, but it seems as if the skeletons may be glad to get some fresh air.
Meanwhile, Lionel calls on holy power and a glowing mantle of positive energy cascades out in waves. Everyone, even the skeletons and zombies feel themselves filled with a crackling energy.
Laffa runs and hides under a side table. Ulthan, still back in the other room, but watching the proceedings, says something to his cat who bounds out through the large dug out cave in area.
Then Ketch swings his axe at the door. It's like hitting a rock. Not a scratch or any give is felt, but all the same, a sudden rumble issues through the entire complex. And then the guardians emerge.
Appearing in a flash of hazy orange light, what appear to be undead scholars, their robes tattered and rotting, their bodies reduced to little more than crusted ancient meat stuck to old bones begin emerging. Nearly a dozen appear in the room near the door bringing with them the smell of dry dust. From the table room near Ulthan, another dozen appear. Further Ulthan sees two more mobs of them appear in the dragon fresco room and another mob appear back at the far end of the sleeping chamber!!

Ketch casts Spirit Guardians then moves one East, one North East - Which should put him basically in the middle of the red cluster nearest him. As a bonus action he calls out (though not thaumaturgically enhanced, for that would be two spells in one turn) "Guardians... I am here to bargain!!"

Mordekai spots a gap between the groups of undead scholars, past Laffa and Meepo, to stand by the wall behind Lionel - as much to get away from the undead as to avoid friendly fire from any allies' area effects. He'll make a mental note of his own pathetic lack of area effects, and resort to his old faithful Eldritch Blasts, hoping to catch one that's already been hurt by Ketch's guardians.

Meepo casts Transmute Rock on the central chamber. He is hoping to slow down the guardians from the other chambers, as they deal with the ones here. He would then have his three zombies move to attack the undead scholars in this chamber.

Ten skeletons manage to get into firing position. The mud works amazing. One of the undead moves forward despite it but it gets filled with arrows and drops into the thick ooze with a thick splat. Three others manage to work themselves free and the skeletons put a bunch of arrows into one of them but it's still moving. Three of them manage to struggle out of the mud though and reach the front line of the skeletons. (4 of the skeletons must now fire at disadvantage as they're "in melee".
Another group of the undead round the corner from the mosaic room and leap forward into the muck, most of them settling into the thick mud, unable to move. Meanwhile, another group comes shuffling out, milling about on the far side of the mud.
The zombies stride forward and slam their fists into a couple of the undead in the room, while Ketch's spirits swirling about him eat at all of the undead, ripping chunks off of them in rapid fashion, though they're all still standing. Mordekai's blasts strike one of the most damaged ones, but they're all still standing.
The close in on Ketch, their grasping hands trying to grab him. Two that can't reach him though, glare at him instead. He feels a malevolent feeling ripple through his skin. But he shakes it off...the power unable to affect one as "wise" as he is.
The hands claw at him, surrounding him, clambering to rend his flesh.

The dry scratching claws of the monsters drag down Ketch's armor but none of the swarming undead are able to hurt him. Lionel joins the fray alongside the three zombies attacking the outside of the swarm around Ketch. His blade slashes twice into one of the undead, sending dust and broken bones scattering, but it continues to try and claw at Ketch. Ketch's dodging turns into a bit of a dance routine, he seems to be humming a tune under his breath. "...naaa..nanana...duh, dun dun..."
As some of the undead move over to near the mud, the cast evil glances over at the skeletons firing arrows at the group.
4 of 10 skeletons : DC 11 Wisdom saving throw against this magic or become frightened until the end of the undead's next turn. If the target fails the saving throw by 5 or more, it is also paralyzed for the same duration. Unfortunately Lionel is a little too far to grant is allies undead minions assistance.

Ulthan holds his bow ready, but no undead come wandering out towards him. He glances up to the bright round sky directly above him, scanning the dark edges of the shaft wondering if an army is about to appear.
No one is sure what happened to Laffa. Last time you saw him he was hiding under a side table, but he's not around anymore.

Meepo moves to where he can see past his skeletons into the room beyond. He sends a mote of flame steaking, trying to catch as many of those in the mud, as well as those milling on the far side of the mud, in the explossion of flames.
