Pizazz's Ravenloft and Beyond

The three little creatures that are left fighting Olin and Lionel continue attacking.  

Attack on Lionel: 18 Damage: 4

Attack on Olin: 9 Damage: 2

The needle blight outside, jarred awake from a bolt to the back turns and leaps at the teenage boy, swinging at him. Attack: 24 Damage: 6

Meanwhile upstairs the Vine blight turns to Rat, and tries to grab and crush him with its Vines that snake out and try to grasp Rat. Attack: 18 Damage: 5

Little creatures continue to attack Ismark and Hart. 

Attack on Ismark: 16 Damage: 4

Attack on Hart: 17 Damage: 5

The swarm of ten little creatures look around as Mordekai disappears with a "bamf", and seeing only Meepo who'd just been thrown against the wall, swarm him.  Three can reach you at a time.

(Meepo, can you roll your mirror image rolls and manage your image for me?)

Attack on Meepo: 21 Damage: 5. 

Attack on Meepo: 4 Damage: 2

Attack on Meepo: 23 Damage: 9.   

The druid goes to the bannister and glances downstairs to see what's happening, and then checks down the hallway, but takes no further action, seemingly looking for something.

Mordekai, you appear in mid air in the Fermentation room and drop to the stone floor below.  Roll Athletics or Acrobatics DC 12 or take 5 damage from the fall.  You land next to the dead druids body, a pool of blood around the body.  From outside the double doors ahead of you, you hear Lionel and Olin battling.  You quickly search the druid. This human woman druid has a headdress with goat horns and a gown made from animal skins.  She's wearing a necklace of what appears to be human teeth. She has a satchel made of hide that you pull open and dig through. Some dried meats, nuts and berries...and a wooden flask.  It seems empty, the stopper is not in it, and there's the remnants of a thick green liquid on the inside.  It smells bitter. 

The blight seems to strike the boy true across the face, but the wound that opens up across his face closes the moment it's created.  

Davian rushes over and attacks that blight, Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.. Attack: 18 Damage: 7.  

The blight drops to the ground.  Adrian moves to the next one, chopping at it. 

Attack: 19 Damage: 4. Attack: 24 Damage: 10

The boy shoots it as well.  Attack: 10 Damage: 8

It also drops. 

Ismark continues slashing through the tiny creatures in front of him. Attack: 18 Damage: 9.  Attack: 20 Damage: 10.  One falls beneath his sword.

Rolling for the mirror images with Meepo.

All three attacks target the mirrors, two of the mirrors being destroyed, while the final one is missed by the last attacker.

For Rat...  He is hit and takes 6 damage.  Is he grappled?

Start of Round 8.  (Round 2 were Web and Faerie Fire , Round 3 was Charm, Round 4 was Mirror Image)

Lionel, you've already given me your action, you slash through v, sending bits of burning shrubs flying. 

Everyone else take your actions.  (Hart, you technically have 3 attacks you cane make now)

DC12 Acrobatics to avoid fall damage: 13

Mordekai runs through the door into the corridor at the bottom of the stairs, and sees the glow of his earlier Faerie Fire spell over Lionel's shoulder, and fires an Eldritch Blast at the blight (#16)

Attack: 23 Damage: 15 

Meepo does misty step again, once more seeking somewhere away from the enemy to have a clear shot towards the druid.

He then takes another shot...

To hit:  24

Damage: 8

Rat is indeed grappled and restrained by the vines comes from the creature. (escape DC 12). 

Meepo once more vanishes and appears on the crane, firing his crossbow down at the druid who takes the shot like a champ.  He screams and yells and shrieks in pain. 

Mordekai steps into the hallway and blasts one of the glowing Needle blights.  The creature crumples into a heap of wood and roots. 

Olin, Hart? 

Olin makes note of how the boy shrugged off the tree's attack, then presses his own attack on the twigs. "We may have a shot at this after all!" he says to Lionel.

Split between w and x if the first one dies, otherwise focused on one.
Shillelagh, 23 Damage: 5
Spiritual weapon, 7 Damage: 11

Olin's staff smashes against the wall, crushing it, while his glowing stick smacks into one, but bounces off its spongy little root body. 

Olin and Lionel both feel a rush of force pass by them as Mordekai appears in the hallway before them, and launches a blast of power past both of them taking down a Needle Blight behind them. 

Rat acrobatics to escape... 12

I'll take some slashing attacks for Hart:  Attack: 15 Damage: 10

Attack: 14 Damage: 4

Attack: 13 Damage: 4

Rat manages to escape the grasps of the vine creature.  (does Rat fly away or stay within 5 feet of druid?) 

Hart and Ismark slash through the remnants of the creatures in the hallway, only to be faced by their own vine creature. 

Its vines snake out and try to wrap up the goliath. Attack: 13 Damage: 4

Ismark lays into it. Attack: 7 Damage: 5.  Attack: 11 Damage: 12

The druid, clutching the arrow in his side opens his mouth yet again, and a massive peal of thunder blasts across the room hitting Meepo.  (CON Save DC 12, or 10 damage)

The little creatures seem to stop, their enemies continue to vanish, and look around (holding their actions for the moment). 

One last little creature attacks Lionel.  Attack: 22 Damage: 2

Davian and his son continue to try and hack up the creatures.  Attack: 8 Damage: 6. Attack: 18 Damage: 6. Attack: 11 Damage: 7. Attack: 5 Damage: 3. and an arrow from the teenager.  Attack: 14 Damage: 8

The battle downstairs seems almost finished, as the Father and two kids hack their way through the charmed monsters and Olin fights the last of the shrub creatures.  Meanwhile upstairs however the sounds of battle continue fiercely as another thunderblast is heard and the group sees a wave of thunder flood past the crane above, which Meepo is perched on.  The crane's timbers creak and snap under the thunderous damage and its mounts in the floor and ceiling are cracking. 

Meepo is either still on the crane, or blown off it back against the wall upstairs again where the little creatures swarm him.  Rat has either fled, or gets attacked by the vine creature again. 

Will wait to resolve Meepo / Rat before Round 9 begins. 

Rat would have flown away.

Guys I know I just came in but life is happening and I'm going to have to drop out. I'm so sorry.

(OOC: Bye bye!) 

Rat flaps away from the vine creature.  Meepo meanwhile is blasted backwards off the crane and thumps to the wall (13 damage).  The small horde of little things come running over but only three can get at him:   (please roll your Mirror Image, you still have one left)

Attack: 4 Damage: 5. 

Attack: 5 Damage: 5

Attack: 18 Damage: 4

(scratch the mirror image rolls, lol, they suck) 

Hart rushes forward past the two charmed stick things and tries to stick the druid. Attack: 24 Damage: 8.   But his blade snicks off the druids hard bark like skin. 

The vine thing nearby robbed of its winged cat, tries to restrain Hart instead with his vines. Attack: 21 Damage: 10    Hart finds vines wrapping up his wrists and restraining him and growls in anger. 

OK, everyone, take your actions!

"Looks like here they can handle things without us, I'll check what is going on upstairs" Lionel did not waste time running by the stairs, actually, he simply jumped and pulled himself up on the upper level //should that be impossible for whatever reason - he can law himself to walking// joining the fight with druids.

Attack on "D" 12 Damage: 7  + 1 fire damage

As his reaction, Meepo cast absorb elements, halving the damage at least.

He will draw a dagger and strike out at one of the plant creatures...
