Mordekai, the bottom of the steps on the right, behind the pillar is about 50 feet away. But, since you cast Mage Armor before entering the temple, you can use a dash action to get that far if you'd like.

Ok, here is what I want to do: run toward the statue (normal move), Misty Step on it's head (bonus action) and simply stick the sword in each eye socket (action).
Statue is 40ft tall, Misty Step is only 30ft - you can rule it is not enough. Lionel is a tall man, shoulder or the hands of the statue might be enough. Then, I suppose, some Acrobatics/Athletic should be rolled?
Rolls if you allow all this:
Athletic: 14
Acrobatic: 14
Attack: 12 Damage: 12
Attack: 24 Damage: 12
If you think it is too much - Radiant Soul (wings) as action, fly and Misty Step on the head.
It is not Ulthan's day, err.. week... err... month thinks Ulthan as he tries to smash through the nearby door to take some cover and hopefully not end up surrounded by 30 undead. Ulthan thinks he can totally knock off the head of statue no matter what puny voice in his head say.

Well, one of the issues is the balcony is 90 feet from the statue. I don't think there's a scenario where you can close the distance and still get an attack. But, if you're relying on running and misty stepping up from the floor, I'd def'n give you a shot at that. First you'd have to fall 30 feet from balcony to floor, run 90 feet, then pull off your move.

Ulthan bolts for the door to the back left and puts his shoulder into the heavy amber slab. Luckily the door is not locked and it swings open as he crashes into a room. It's pitch black in here but he glances about with his dark vision. Shattered bits of wood cover the floor of this frigid, twenty-foot-square room. The ceiling in here is ten feet high. There are no exits. However this room isn't wide enough to cover the ground between the entrance hall, and the east wall, and there are no arrow slits in here. Olin follows Ulthan, leaping into the room for cover, his body smoking, his flesh crackled from the lightning and fire both.

(Ah, the map squares are 10x10, not 5x5. Sorry, I missed that. Actually, I didn't. I read it and then totally forgot it!)
In that case, Mordekai will run to his right, on his way down the right hand stairs as far as he can get. I'm assuming he didn't see enough of the target to cast Hex, and I don't want to drop the dancing lights for the others anyway, so as a Bonus Action he'll move the dancing lights to group and circle around the head of the statue (which should be enough of a hint to the others). Then he'll cast Eldritch Blast, sending one bolt aiming at each of the eye sockets.
Ismark rushes to the right, leaping out of the main room and through the open doors to the east.
Mordekai, as you rush down the stairs you can see more features of the room down here. Arched hallways coated with amber lead away from the temple to the west and east. Flanking these exits are alcoves that hold white marble statues of robed human wizards with pointed hats and golden staffs. One of them has toppled over and lies shattered on the floor.
Waiting for Lionel to choose his action, knowing the size of the room, and for Meepo to confirm where he goes, and finally for Mordekai to confirm a double move or not.

Action - Radiant soul, then Shield up and fly to the floor as close to the statue as possible. Is he visible from arrow slits or staircases protect him?
As the flame wraps around Meepo, some of the energy seems to spiral and sink into his flesh, but he's still smoking and hurt by the time it's done. He looks around for options to be hidden from the statue's head and the arrows slits and comes up with the following options, that won't require a dash action:
1) If you move 30 feet to the left and stay up on the bannister, you'll be close enough to the left wall that the arrows slits in the wall won't be able to see you. It will also position one of the main pillars between yourself and the head. (this seems to be a similar direction to where Kasimir ran).
2) You could leap (or misty step) the 30 feet down to the main floor off of the balcony, and run to near the bottom of the stairs, right behind the pillar, giving you protection from the head by the pillar, and the arrow slits by the stairs.
3) There's a door behind you on the left. You could try to get through the door, and if it's locked, you could just keep going and be in position from option #1.
That's pretty much it. Any other options will require a dash. (such as going through the open doors to the right at the top of this balcony).
I'll hold off on resolving the magic missiles until you decide.
Sorry for the delay, ahd a family situation last night tht kept me offline.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Meepo rushes to the railing, and with a pop appears down on the floor, where he rushes to cover behind the pillar and the stairs. He unleashes a battery of magical missiles towards the arrow slits but a magical shield seems to block them just at the arrow slit and they burst against it without effect.
Lionel sprouts his massive angelic wings, his eyes glowing, as he leaps over the railing, swooping down close enough to the stairs to take cover from the arrow slits, but more open to the statue.
The glowing spheres of light rise up and.....reveal that the head of the statue is actually surrounded in an orb of inky blackness that none but Mordekai can see through.
Mordekai begins heading down the stairs on the right, and launches two magical blasts into the darkness by the statues head. He sees the second one hit something within. (you can target it with spells, such as Hex, it just is over 100 feet away still so not within range yet, and it has 3/4 cover). (no one else can target within the blackness)
Olin and Ulthan have retreated to a room up up on the balcony. Kasimir is invisible and you're not sure where he went after running to the right.
Ismark ran left and through the open double doors to the right of the balcony.
The Zombie stands at the center of the balcony amidst it's fallen undead brethren. Perhaps it grieves their loss. It's difficult to read. Either way, the two sphere behind it roll forward and slam into the poor thing.
Zombie Dex: 9, 3. DMG: 510
The zombie collapses in a burning pile. Mordekai, two waves of magical darts fly from the arrow slits and slam into you. (magic missiles: 24 Damage). Then another wave of magic missiles fly from the face of the statue striking you: (9 Damage).
(If I am not mistaken, Darkness means "blind" condition - attacks with disadvantage, but still possible. If so, the goal is the same - head of the statue)
Fly+Misty Steps. If normal move plus spell is enough - attack through the eye sockets. (How big are they? Can a human get inside?) If not - spell and double movement (to properly land)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Looking at the map, if the source of that darkness is from the Darkness spell, then Mordekai's Dancing Lights are probably dispelled, since they overlap?)
Mordekai will continue to move down the steps, hugging the right wall in an attempt to get out of sight from the arrow slits on the right at least (taking cover in the alcove down there if that's possible?). Then he'll cast Blink on himself and hope for the best!
Yes, you're right, as two globes move up to illuminate near the head, they both wink out.
Lionel swoops upwards, skipping a span of 30 feet by teleporting. As his blade comes within range of the sphere, the darkness and the bright light from the blade cancel each other out, allowing Lionel to see the statue and land on it's shoulder, grabbing on with one hand, but unable to attack this turn. (30 ft flight, 30 ft. misty step...but it's 60 feet away PLUS 50 feet up, so, you know, trigonometry and such, it's just around how far you can get this turn by dashing, so no attack.) They eye-holes are actually quite wide, perhaps 1.5 feet wide each. Inside, Lionel sees an old man, with a long white beard and spectacles wearing a long robe. He hisses at Lionel and raises a finger, pointing at him with deadly intent, "Morte Calise!" Negative energy courses through Lionel's body and he's wracked with sudden intense pain that sends red and black shots through his vision. However Lionel's Aasimar heritage protects him somewhat, the energy battling with his own radiant soul. Roll Con Save DC 17. 53 Necrotic Damage, half on save. Then you take half damage for your necrotic resistance, so either 26 on a fail, or 13 on a save.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ulthan peers out from his new hiding spot looking for targets, the most obvious being the giant head... so he will fire his two arrows there... Attack: 19 Damage: 15 and again 5 Damage: 20. He will then curse the non-satisfying hits that drew no blood be it warm or cold.
Of course if Ulthan can't see he'll try to take cover from arrow slits on the sides and move up more and down the stairs... not finding anything to climb on higher...
Alright, so, the whole area is dark. But then it's lit up by the sword, but then it's dark because of the darkness. Leaving it...dark. And it is over 100 feet away which means what you can see is...the 2 remaining floating globes of light in the air, and a part of the statue lit up by a part of Lionel's sword, but, you can't see Lionel or his sword because they're in darkness...and you're too far away for your darkvision to reach.
So, if Ulthan wants to shoot into the dark sphere from here, he can, but Lionel is there, somewhere, and he's shooting blindly at a statues head.
Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but this is a rather complex giant dark room scenario, and for once Darkvision 60 feet is a pretty big detriment. Plus there's an overlapping Darkness / Daylight situation going on just to mess with me further! :-)

Mordekai makes the bottom of the stairs and into the alcove. The marble wizard statues here are 8 feet tall with 9 foot long golden staffs, those bits of gold paint has chipped off revealing the wrought iron beneath. He has good shelter here as he casts his spell and vanishes from this plane of existence....now existing in the ethereal.....
