"I can't wait until I can tell those orcs off." Bree says with a smile. "Trashing the chief's place like that, and then killing him and his tribe, that was just not very nice at all." She sighs a bit sad. "I'll make sure those orcs know they were not being one bit nice, who goes into someone else's village and does that?" She would glance around at the group. "I mean, come on, would any of you go into someone else's place and burn and murder?" She shakes her head. "I think not."
"I havn't had much experience with orcs to be honest... " Skip would say as he finishes preparing to go, packing up the last of his gear. "I doubt they will listen to you Bree if they did just get finished burning down a village... I assume there is going to be some bloodshed." He would finish before looking over to Tibby. "I hope we survive long enough to get your key friend... I worry about the deal you signed... I think it is best if we fulfill your end of the deal as quickly as possible." Skip would add with a nervous look. "I Suppose I am ready to go when you all are... I am not real great in a fight but I will do my best to keep you all on your feet" Skip would finish with a smile.
"Don't worry, Orcs love me. We will have the key by night fall, I'll learn to talk to snakes and then I can run for mayor on the glowing spoon platform."
"I uhh.. still am not sure about this glowing spoon business.... but I hope it is as easy as you say friend" The hardy halfling would say as he scratches his scruffy sideburns and adjusts his chef's hat. "Maybe i'll learn how to make a magic meat sandwich... or super soup... or flying flapjacks..." Skip would add with a grin. "But as long as I am around... I promise to at least keep your spoon glowing.. well... and my own" He would say with a smile as he cast light on Tibbys utensil as his own silver spoon began to glow as well.
(ooc: I have been trying not to read the other story arcs going on since Skip would ha e no idea about them.. but that being said... it does seem like skip and tibby and jaeson and Yessica have had it pretty easy so far lol.)
( just seems like it since you have more dialogue, but everyone has had 1 good battle, except daishi who has already begun his 2nd. Good stuff all around)

( was waiting on input on the strategy, from the others but we will advance as Perzy'S has planned, unless there are objections)
Perzy'S leads the enlarged assault force to approximately 100 feet from Tower 2 on the north-east corner of the compound. As everyone huddles for final planning, you observe 2 orcs in tower 2, you can't see anyone in Tower 1. The other towers you cant tell in the low early morning light. The 4 camp fires are smoldering. The ogre you can see seems to have dozed off and you can see that there are at least 4 orcs walking a patrol inside the perimeter. You cant see into the shrine itself so still no telling how many orcs in total.
(Since this is the first major engagement with this many players I will have you all roll initiative now and we will keep the same order until it needs to change do to group splits. If something doesn't seem to work out well, we can adjust as required)
You see the forest on the horizon and your muscles ate thanking the Gods for their mercy. There are some low boulders and some shrubs in the landscape before the forest begins, the drier soils of the crags giving way to prairie grass and finally trees.
As you approach within 200 feet of the treeline, you hear the sound of a hunting horn coming from the forest and the bark/ howling of orcish war dogs from behind.
((I'm thinking we take the tower guards down first and slowly work our way on the patrols. Noa can sneak and grapple while someone can slit throats or something. He's pretty handy with daggers too. Or, we can make a pitfall trap and lure some orcs to be burned/stabbed/buried alive. My inner psycho killer sense is tingling. XD ))
"Wine shrine?" Noa asked as he had no idea what in the world the man spoke of. "Bree, I thought I told you not to put lantern oil as a seasoning. It makes people go wonky."
Nevertheless, he listened in on everyone's input in terms of strategy. His preference was to strike at night but seeing as everyone else needed rest, he concurred that they'd have to strike early light the day after. He suggested they kidnap a few orcs or eliminate the opposition one by one stealthily as an alternative or better yet, he had another idea which he revealed the following morning after breakfast.
"Well, seeing as we've had a hearty meal earlier - thank you, Skip for that - I think I have an idea if anyone can improve on it: let's draw those orcs on patrol to a trap. Bree, I remember you can manipulate the earth around you earlier when we ran in Kuori. Does that apply to making a big and deep enough hole? It doesn't have to be trapped, only deep enough for these."
He showed them a small amount of lantern oil and grinned. "Orcs HATE fire."
"Alternatively, we can take that tower down from the foundations if we have the magic or we can take the guards by surprise and lure them into the tower while we run circles around them. The only problem is we've got ogres to deal with in addition to one, two... Six orcs. Suggestions? No wine shrines but we can definitely use the glowing spoons for distractions."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bree initiative: 14
"I can make holes up to five feet deep..." Bree says with a shrug. "I'll help out where I can in the fighting, but don't expect me to be casting any harmful spells, my magic isn't that sort of magic..."

"Well I for one liked Kuori's plan for attack... I mean I guess I am pretty small... and can be quiet when I shut my mouth" Skip would say with a smile. "But Noa here makes some good points as well. How about you just tell old Skip where you want him to be and I will do my best to keep ya on yer feet instead of on your back" The hafling would finish as he pulls his light crossbow from his back and holds it in his arms as his glowing is held tightly in place on his belt.
As you follow the stepping stones deeper into the trees you find yourself is a small clearing. In the middle of the clearing is a small well. The stones walls of the well are carved similarly to the stepping stones but have a similarity to modern elvish script. There is a small ladle sitting atop the edge of the well and the sun pokes through the trees and fills this area with light that is deprived from the rest of the forest. You realize there isnt a bit of the fog here either.

The Skeletal knights deftly parries your short sword with his sword and delivers a stomping kick against your shield
Attack: 11 Damage: 2
Knocking you backwards and off balance, the blow jarring your shield arm a bit.
" a knight trusts to God and his sword as his shield, and his will is like an iron fortress..."
You were correct. You are all rested up

I could die here!
Daishi stumbles backward again, and shakes his head to clear it. No!
"Stop Skeleton, for you are no knight!" Daishi tears off his glove to show his signet ring. "I am a Longguard, of Waterdeep. I was called here!"
He attacks again, partly to keep the undead at bay and in case his words are lost on it.
Bonus action: Second Wind 9
Action: Melee attack shortsword vs. Skeleton 6 to hit; 8 damage (piercing)
The owl swoops at the undead knight, distracting it. Daishi surges forward and tries to strike it again.
Familiar action: Help in combat
Action Surge, Daishi: Melee attack shortsword vs. Skeleton 23 to hit; 4 damage (piercing)

The solid strikes you landed make the Skeletal knight laugh a bit.
He says. " Good, good. Let your iron will show forth. Let your sword be your word and your honor be unstained."
He spins his sword overhead and strikes with a backswing
Attack: 12 Damage: 1
And then brings it back around after your block it on your shield moving for a forward high angle cut for your torso
Attack: 25 Damage: 0
Which you parry with your shortsword
