"I like to think that I make a very charming and intelligent enemy," Rixton says with a grin. Then his face turns serious. "I agree with you, though. Those in power that want more power cannot be trusted. This king, a kindly king on his face, thought he chose fools to do his bidding. But as this one here says, we choose to do Right. We are no fools. Join us and see for yourself. You can personally put this tome in the proper hands...or on the pyre, if that is what it takes."
You think highly of yourselves. I don't worry about any of you. My fate is sealed.
The temple keeps the tome. It is on the eastern most part of the isle. My people and the Yuan-Ti will not let it go easy unless you're Thorrash, himself. They will protect it until he comes... I wish you would have just killed me. I've said too much now.
The lizardfolk begins to eye a blade on the ground.

Rixton will sigh and walk away from the lizardfolk as Olive(and anyone else) take care of it. "Well, we have our destination at least. Prepare yourself for more of this, though," Rixton says. "And prepare yourself to be the villain in this tale. We are invaders and thieves now."
Kai shrugs as he finishes cleaning his blade. "One story's villain is another's hero. The only difference is who writes the tale. And in our case...it's me." Out of the corner of his eye he sees the shadowy snake coil through the grass towards him. He almost flinches as it speeds up and quickly dissipate from the rapid movement. Through great effort though, he manages to keep from jerking or bolting.
The Warforged nods as he has Malizath go invisible even as the imp curses in his native tongue for being referred to as a "creature". "I can see through his eyes so if I pause that will be why. Let us hope nothing else is waiting for us."
Palisade will have the imp fly ahead of them to scout, staying close enough that if he comes upon trouble he can flee back to the side of the group.

Kai whips around with his blade at the ready. Seeing no threat he lowers the weapon but keeps it clearly poised. He looks towards Olive, and though the voice seemed unlike what he had heard from her in the past...it could only be her right?
*I don't appreciate cryptic voices startling me...* He thinks as he furrows brow in concern. If not Olive, then... *So what do I call you? Snake? Wyrmling? Shadow...?*
"This'll be fun,"Kallak says, looking around, and sighing. "Invading two cultures on one island to get a book for a king who wants it to another king can't have it. We fighting our way through the whole way? Or more sneaking?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Then we are of a like mind." Kai says referring to the preference of stealth to outright fighting. He checks his gear to make sure nothing will start shifting noisily as they stalk through the forest then proceeds after Rixton and the others.

Draconic:
"You seek the tome? Who sent you?!"
he looks uneasy to anyone paying attention.

Rixton in draconic:
"The tome makes you uncomfortable. You would have it gone? Perhaps this can be easily arranged."
Draconic:
Those that know it, those that want it... they make me uncomfortable. Who sent you? You should turn back, you will make terrible enemies.

Olive in draconic:
I'd like to think that we're not terrible enemies, but rather good. You either live or die, there's no oppression or slavery or ugly shit like that.

History: 5 ((Thorrash?))
Still surprised at them just killing the Lizardfolk Kravek will try to determine what information they got from him after hearing Kai's translations.
We should get moving before more of them show up. We can use the cover of the trees.
Kravek looks at Palisade. Can your creature scout for us?
Olive summarizes, "It said it's on the eastern side of the island. Then it wanted to die."

You've heard the name, you can't place it exactly... you know it's someone from Great Maw
"Use me... use the new blade..." you hear in the back of your mind as soon as you say the name Thorrash

Olive says, "I don't mind either way to be honest. I would actually prefer to sneak first and then kill."
Kallak nods in agreement. "Hoping it was a rhetorical choice. So, we going to where he said? Quietly?"
"We are heading east," Rixton says. "Keep quiet and keep hidden."
Rixton will follow Palisade in the right direction, sticking to the shade and treading carefully.
