"Would you be able to tell me where I could perhaps pick up a few potions for my more fleshy companions? If it can be helped I wish for them to remain alive during our journey."
"Well will you look at this..." he looks passed the other two toward the warforged. "A sentient being after my own heart. Someone who doesn't want to waste my time with hagglin'. Alright there pal. You could always head over to the alchemist shop or the nursery, but seeing as your here. I usually keep a few in stock. Usually people looking for magic need a little juice. How many would ya like?"

Song joins the rest of the party in the magic shop. This is enough money to pay her rent for months - blowing it on a trinket seems unreal. On the other hand - these are some damn nice trinkets.
She admires the broom and the boots of elvenkind - a friend of hers back home had managed to get a pair of those, and they made sneaking into places so easy, no one could ever hear him move. But the robe of useful items - out of her price range, but....
"I'm interested in the robe. Would you be willing to take a wand of fireworks in part exchange?" she said, trying to play down the -works part of the word. Maybe he'd get distracted by Olive's antics and mistake it for a wand of fireballs? Stranger things have happened - just today in fact. Speaking confidently, she adds "We were responsible for putting down the elemental attack this morning, and we've been commissioned to hunt down the cause. As my friend said, we're making a lot of purchases to help us do this - are you able to offer a discount?"
"More then what I would be able to buy with the coin left over after my purchase. It is unfortunate that our wealthy benefactor did not give us a line of credit to properly pay for anything we purchased. Being as that may so that I will still have some gold left over I shall buy one." Palisade says to the owner once other of his group finish speaking with him.

Kai feigns an anxious look, "Look sir, I understand your time is very valuable. And, uhh we don't have a lot of money between us but it might be a long time before we get to shop for fine wares. Things that might be able to protect us in our journey! And if we make it back from that journey we are going to certainly have coin. And where are we going to spend that coin? At the shop that couldn't help us out?" He pauses, his brow furrowed with worry, "Or the shop that did? We're not asking for a discount exactly, but an investment!"Kai feels pretty confident in this approach, "What do you say sir?"
DM:
I'm going to assume that if I'm assisting Olive she is assisting me? But if not I guess just take the first of the two rolls in each:
Rixtonis mentally tallying a list of useful items to purchase and it is getting quiet long when you stops at a small, out of the smithy called simply, "The Blademaker". One of the tallest dwarves that Rixtonhas ever seen is lounging behind the counter. He is covered in soot and sweat, his hair and beard tightly braided but matted where the hair has escaped the braids. He wears a nearly black leather apron and is drinking from a large tankard.
"Afternoon," he says, as Rixtonenters the tiny shop. Rixtonnods in reply.
The smith does adequate work and Rixtonwould have gladly purchased many of the weapons if he had the coin. He eyes a quarterstaff that could be useful and places it on the counter. There are no arrows or bows here, but he makes a mental note to pick up some more arrows at the next opportunity. There is no armor either, but he also notes a need to upgrade there as well.
As he is beginning to fish a coin out of his purse to purchase the quarterstaff, a rusty looking spear catches his eye. On closer inspection, Rixtonsees that it is not rust, but dried blood. Rixtonlooks up at the smith, who is watching him carefully.
"450 gold," the smith says.
Rixtonsuppresses his surprise as best he can. "What makes it so special?" he says.
"It has a vampiric quality," the dwarf says and draws a long draft of his drink. "It's a Blood Spear."
Rixtonnods. "I've heard of such things." He mentally removes a number of expensive items from his shopping list. "Would throw in the quarterstaff with the spear? It is a small ask."
Persuasion: 15
Purchasing both weapons, he leaves the shop satisfied and finishes his spending spree buying caltrops and ball bearings, a healing kit, arrows, and upgrading his leather armor for studded leather. It is a lot less than what he expected to buy, but a useful weapon can be the difference between success and failure.
Rixtonwalks into the Pleasant View Inn and confirms that he has a room for the night and that meals will also be covered. If so, he will order a glass of Elven wine and take a seat in the tavern to wait for his comrades to arrive.
Adamar looks at Olive really hard... as if he recognized her but as he peers closely, he breaks his gaze. "Listen here. Look at this store. Everyone shops here. People travel to come here. I appreciate your moxie and what you two are trying to pull but I don't run no charity."
Adamar then looks back to Palisade. "Be right back." Adamar goes to the back and returns near immediately with a vial of red liquid. "50 gold there friend. Now you I'm going to remember... these two as well but for different reasons."

Kallak never really considered buying anything like this for herself to use. She was much more accustomed to shipping things like this to customers. Following several of her new companions around shops, she is drawn to things that reflect the tempest, like the storm boomerang, or anything that emits lightning or thunder. She does pick up a Lamannian oak focus and a healing potion. She almost picks up some items that would allow her to read people's thoughts, but she decides to save her money.
Kai smiles and nods, "Sorry to have presumed. Have a good rest of your day."He looks through a few more things then makes his way out to the street. After a moment, making sure his new companions are still detained with shopping he slips into the alley behind the store. With practiced motion and ease he pulls some clothes from his bag. He slips on a dark lacy skirt that covers his pants and shifts his armor around to act more like a bustier. As this is happening his form shifts a molds into that of a slight female wood elf. She tightens the armor so that it still looks serviceable for a ranger or rogue and pulls a few of her weapons out of hiding to equip them in more open locations. After a quick check in a pocket mirror and fixing her longer hair, the fairly stunning elven woman begins out of the alley. Before stepping out in the street again she shifts the cloak to look like a Cloak of Elvenkind.
Walking back into the store with confidence, she looks around for a few minutes. Acting appropriately intrigued by things she sees. As the shopkeep is putting away the shortsword she makes her move and leans into the counter a bit, now distinctly shorter than she had been fifteen minutes ago. "And what does that one do?" she inquires with a sweet voice and a smile.
He looks at the sword, and he looks back at you. "Just had someone else interested in it. It's a good one. It alerts you of danger on your travels. 800 gold." He puts the back on its display hooks. He then takes out a pen and changes the 6 to an 8 on the tag.
Olive:
Your eyes flash dark and you lose your vision for a moment and you hear "ahh, a dedicated one... a fool... but dedicated. they will be perfect."
"Welcome back Mr. Rixton." Gwen says to you. She was the barmaid that seemed to have been running everything. "We have received a voucher for you and your companions. Here is the key to your room and tonight your food and drink is paid for."
She pauses a moment, "Well, yes. There are many actually. What is it that you were looking for? Around these parts the written word is very important to many. Especially King Fireheart. Some are bigger, some are smaller, but The Southern Kingdom has collected many many pieces of literature and do not have one central location. You see the city planners didn't expect to fill up Pleasant View Library so there are many annexes and some other bigger ones. Some just outside of town... sorry I don't want to bore you with bureaucracies of our kingdom..."
Assuming you tell Gwen where you'd like to go she would happily tell you which library you need to go to. If you wanted to keep it to yourself she would tell you where to locate the main library so you could find your own way from there.

she smirks, "No. But if you tip Billy I'm sure he'd be happy to as long as we aren't in the middle of a rush." she looks around, its probably coming up on dinner time in the next hour or so.
"BILLY!" The scrawny server that ran up to Olive's room to throw her stuff out of the window runs up. "Mr. Rixton has a task for ya. You're going to go to the Pleasant View Library Prime and hunt down this book," she writes down 'Magicks Inherent by Folgard Briarbox' on a piece of paper she ripped off from her note pad and hands it to him, "for Mr. Rixton. They... should have it."
"Okay!" Billy runs off. "Apron. Billy." "oh right, sorry." he pulls his apron off and hangs it by the door. and is off.
Billy would return in about 35 minutes or so with the book. "Here you are Mr. Rixbon!"

Palisade nods as he carefully puts the potion into his new Bag of Holding, nodding to the other two that were in the shop with him. Once he steps out of the shop he will open his regular pack so that Malizath can come back out. The imp glared and flies up to sit on his shoulder.
"If you do that again then I will make you regret ever meeting me." With that said the imp suddenly goes invisible and returns to the shop himself. As he enters he will look for anything that looks like a wand.
The Elf gives a bit of a whistle, "Too rich for my blood. Actually shops like yours are typically a bit out of my reach if I'm being honest." She was... "But I happened to come into a decent payday recently, and maybe you can help me find something with a bit more...oomph, than my typical weapon." Valia flips a dagger into her hand from her belt and gives it a flashy twirl before setting it on the counter. It isn't anything fancy but it's certainly kept in good condition and well sharpened. With her other hand she pulls a pouch of gold with about 425 coins in it and sets it next to the dagger.
"What do you think? Is there something worth my wages here?" She gives a hopeful smile. Much smoother, something about this form always feels...appealing. Careful to guard her surface thoughts she makes sure to continue humming a random tune in her head. She wasn't yet sure what or how the druid was communicating yet, but she certainly didn't trust it.
