"There is some sort of mechanism there." Taman calls up, hoping he is not too late. He has the bunny return and look over the area a bit further, examining the area to figure out what is up with the trap, if it is stuck or just needs something else to trigger.
Fulcra gives Celtra a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you kindly. Look at that, good at pushing AND catching. Everyone, I think this one is a keeper." He gives Cimeri a sidelong glance, and a wink, "Hey, it looked like a lot of fun in the pit. I didn't want to miss out on the action."
In response to Taman, he says, "A mechanism? Oh, I do hope it doesn't close the pit and begin some sort of crushing routine."
Fulcra attempts to climb out of the pit on the entrance side, deciding mechanisms on the other side are best disarmed before they go further.

Bryn would freeze her movements coming to the realization she may be in the process of triggering a trap. “Pressure?” Was all she could think out loud. Maybe the trap will only spring if the weight/pressure is released. “No release yet.”
Remaining where she is, the Druid would rummage in her gear for a rope to toss down to the others to assist them out of the pit.
Cimeri's hurt and probably cracked ribs (as well ans Taman's and Celtra's bruises) might disagree about the "fun" part, but nobody asked them. With the rope and Bryn's strength there was a chance to get out of pit easier, especially since every successful climber would help to hold the rope.
At any rate, Fulcra's idea that it can be a mechanism, closing the pit would add climbing speed and prowess to anyone cherishing it's life.
Taman notes, through Sebastian’s eyes, that the flagstone under Bryn is depressed lower than the others. It would seem that despite activating the trap, it didn’t fire... but that doesn’t mean it won’t in future. the notches in the wall most likely house... blades?
"Does anyone have the ability to disarm traps?" Taman asks as he glances to the others in the pit. "It appears to be a simple trap that is triggered when you step on a portion of the floor, but, for some reason, did not trigger this time. If we can disarm it, we can make it safe to move forward." He will cast guidance on whomever does the disarming, as well as give them a boost (help action) to get out of the pit. Guidance again for the climb check. "There look to be some sort of blades in the wall that should have sprung out when the trigger plate was stepped on..." He is matter-of-fact as he states this, a bit unaware his statement might make the one currently standing on said plate a bit uncomfortable.
Bryn would tie the rope around her torso to provide what she believes to be the most trustworthy anchor to secure it to at this time so her teammates could climb out. “Disarm? What about stone weight?”
At the sound of Tasman confirming her concerns about the trap, she would only harden her stance in anticipation, keeping the plate pressed. “I strong like tree trunk. I stand tall for your escape.” She’ll hold her chin up in pride, bracing herself to get pierced if the mechanism were to release.
With boosts from below and a half-giant pulling from the top, Fulcra is able to scale the rope and stops with feet braced just below the lip of the pit, staring up at Bryn. With a final burst he grabs her forearms and rolls to the side, feeling the flagstone depress with a grating slowness. there’s a click and a sound of metal tension... but that is all.
Fulcra freezes, looking for the holes in the walls with death blades waiting to skewer him. "Soooo....can someone block this hole up with something for us? I may not be the sharpest kid on the block, but this wasn't what I was going for. See what I did there? Sharp? Block? Get it?"

Cimeri, that was balancing on the edge of the pit (assuming she did get out, since she was trying to do so for some time now) did get one thing - some blades (sharp blades) are supposed to come from the holes. A good old training exercise if a bit too realistic (the one she was used to did not involve blades but simple wooden blocks). She looked around in search of rocks that could fit into the holes - in hope that magic would fix them in place. Meanwhile she suggested (more like thinking aloud) "May be we can just set them loose and wait by the walls under the holes until blades stops?"
If one went back outside it’s possible that rocks the appropriate size could be found, though a hammer or similar implement would need to be used to jam them in place (or similar spell might be used). however with such ad hoc methods, it would be difficult to discern how well the stones would stop the blades until the blades are actually triggered. And the person doing the hammering might be at risk while working.
“Bryn can Mold Earth.” When she realizes that no one else would pull themselves up to risk pressing another plate, the Druid would reach down to cast mold earth on a block from the wall. She’d attempt to slide the block weigh down her pressure plate. Bryn would not step away unless she was ultimately sure it was safe to do so before carrying out her teams suggestions to mold earth into the holes.
The Druid reaches inward to feel the stone around her and, as there appeared to be no time pressure, spent a few minutes filling the four slots in the walls with earth, hopefully jamming the blades in place. You all are able to climb the rope up and past the Druid; a few tense moments pass as the pressure plates click underfoot, but No Ill effects occur.
before you is a seven foot tall ledge. Cimeri hops up to grab the ledge and peer over; in front of her is another ten by ten foot space with symbols on the floor, but from this vantage they cannot be discerned.
"I vote that when we get to the other side of whatever this is..." she says while waving a hand at all the traps. "We set up camp there, aint no zombies making their way through all of this."
Fulcra speaks in a quiet serious voice, "No, but they may ravage our boat and supplies. Without which, we'll be stranded in the jungle." Then he grins a big grin, "But, we'll have this wonderous alligator man temple to sell to the next guy who comes along, which should more than make up for it."His smile drops and he runs a hand through his long black messy hair. Shadows drop across his face in the flickering torchlight, the wavy tendrils of his locks casting tentacles across his pointed nose high cheek bones. His pale skin looking reddish after picking up some color after a few days on the water. His leather breast piece is under his clean, puffy red shirt made in the local Chult style, kept immaculate despite the wear of travel. He pulls out his shield, colored black, that he acquired in Port Nyanzaru. A less common kite style, he straps it on his arm. From his backpack he pulls out a few pitons and places them in his belt, next to a couple bulging belt pouches. He straps his backpack on again and turns to Bryn, "Dear lady, would you mind giving me a boost me up?" He tries to stay on the near edge of the ledge as he's boosted up. Once up, he stands next to the unicorn bunny and scans the symbols on the floor, and describes what he sees to the party. He looks down at the bunny, "Well fuzz ball, it's just me and you now. Against this room. We're all alone, with no one to help us, daring adventurers exploring the depths of a weird alligator man temple in the middle of nowhere. What will we find? The alligator man at the end? Will he force us to serve him for all eternity? No one can say." He looks back down the ledge at the party and shrugs, "I'm trying to instill a sense of purpose in this rabbit. Morale is important."

Bryn would let out a sigh of relief, her body visibly relaxing for a whole second before she snaps back to being attentive. With a nod, the halfgiant would reach down to provide Fulcra with his requested boost. She would have expected him to weigh more as a man... Failing to calculate that he did not have Goliath blood like her kin, she’d use a little more strength than necessary to boost him up, not enough to toss him over by any means though.
Once Fulcra was up, she’d look to the others. “He not lie. He chatty.” Her eyes would be a little big in concern that he’s talking that much to himself out loud.

If Fulcra is able to climb out of the far side of the pit he'll begin addressing the "foot on the mine" situation occurring with Bryn.
