Celtra will tie a small piece if cloth over her mouth and nose while continuing to follow along. She still holds the torch up as the lava doesnt provide huge amounts of light this high up.
Fulcra watched the group begin to traverse the track bridge over the lava. He stands behind, waiting for the first person to get all the way across before he ventures onto the tracks.

What's the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer? Class.
You tiptoe across the lava river ten feet below the narrow tracks, getting a larger view around. There are a couple other bridges that cross the lava, one far to the west and another one, to the northeast. The cart track enters another tunnel on the other side of the lava and you walk along them, winding another forty feet or so before reaching the end, where it opens upon a large work area. You can only see a tiny amount from this perspective, but you see creatures of flame moving back and forth in the room and the sound of rhythmic hammering is much louder.
A stealth check or some other subterfuge will be necessary to get a better view.

Cimeri nodded to the blessing (guidence) and added her own skills to the pile: Pass without Trace : 36 + 1
(+10 to Stealth for to everyone for 1h)
It was obvious, the creatures down there are not dwarves but someone was making that rhythmic hammering noise. She suddenly remembered that albino Dwarf - Musharrib? - who was talking about his home - yes, that was the name! Hrakhamar! - being overrun by firenewt and he was ready to work for free if the group agrees to kill the intruders. Oh, why did not she think about it earlier! Musharrib clearly said the mines were abandoned! Though, he claimed the forge was still working. He also mentioned the relic, he was ready to risk his life for, that had to be liberated from newt - Moradin's Gauntlet, or something like that.
Before going any close to look at the newts and anything there, Cimeri shared her epiphany with the group for someone more knowledgeable to chew on it and devise strategy. Then she walked further into the mine.
Cimeri gets a better look, and returns stealthily with more information:
The hammering sound is louder here, but not coming from the chamber ahead. This enormous, rectangular chamber is a working smelter. A rectangular pit in the center of the room is filled with molten metal. Six devices of dwarven design and make, arranged around the pit, siphon off the liquid metal and draw out the impurities. A smaller pool in the southeast corner holds what appears to be molten silver.
Creatures that look like a mix of humanoid amphibians and elemental fire are tending to the machines. So far, they haven't noticed you; eight of them hustle about the smelting area, speaking in what might be a dialect of...orcish? draconic?
The chamber is about 45 feet by 45 feet; the entrance Cimeri looks through is a ten foot wide doorway at the southern end, with one track that runs to a staging area from a tunnel across from you. The smelting pit is an area about 35 feet by 30 feet, adjacent to the western wall. The eastern wall is broken by another ten foot wide doorway, this one with two tracks terminating about ten feet into the smelting chamber. At the northeast corner of the chamber is a door leading east.
Bryn would huff and sniff the air as she follows after the others. Her eyes remained wide and alert, taking in this new environment unfolding around her. It was interesting to be this deep into the earth, into a mountain, and this close to lava. The heat was different compared to anything she's experienced before. Not uncharacteristically, the druid would otherwise remain silent.
Fulcra whispers to the group, "I don't suppose these creatures would be open to a discussion. Perhaps we can reason with them? Barter for some silver weapons? If not, well, then, you know....." He puts his hand on Celtra's shoulder..... "We do some pushing..."

"We need to either go in on the attack or go in with idea of diplomacy." Taman whispers to the group. "We cannot do both..." He looks around then shrugs. "I am doubtful these things will want to talk, so suggest the assault option."
Fulcra, "What if I go in and try to talk to them, and if they just attack me, you all come to my rescue? Wait a minute, did I just suggest myself as bait. This is a terrible idea. I don't know who came up with it, but it's dumb. Let's just go kill them all, way better idea. I'm with Taman." Fulcra rubs his hands together, as if that motion were to signify preparing for battle, even though it does not.

(DM, Taman speaks Primordial, but I don't know if this means he speaks all of the languages of Primordial, or if he was suppose to pick one when he chose the language. How do you run it?)
OOC: Taman also speaks Draconic, and creatures speak in something that "...might be a dialect of...orcish? draconic?". Looks like he is covered.
Cimeri was looking at the melted silver, contemplating the idea of just running there and deeping weapons in to it and leaving the place before the group would be noticed. Then she remembered Celtra's explanation about difficulty of the process and did not shame herself with a stupid suggestion. But she did like Fulrca's idea:
"We are not dwarves... And no threat to them unless we want the "Moradin's Gauntlet". They might want to trade us silvering for something." Admitting personal ignorance never easy but she did: "Though, I have to confess I do not understand a word they are saying."
OOC: Celtra also speaks Primordial but doesnt sound like that is what's needed now.
------
Celtra looks at the impressive set up and take just a moment to appreciate it all. "So many unknowns. We could rush in and try and kill them but there is also who knows how many down here... I could try to barter with them or be the trap. I know some Primordial but who knows if they can understand me."
Cimeri sees eight of them. They're very distracted, in that they rush from machine to machine, turning hissing knobs with their luminous red hands riddled with fire-orange veins. Wielding iron bars they pry, hoist and jab at joints of the siphons. Watching for several minutes, you see none leave or enter and the number stays at 8. Taman does indeed speak Draconic (oops) and can understand their speech. They shout commands to their lessers, insults at their rivals, and cringe when spoken to by their betters. They do not seem at all pleasant.
Your ears shudder with the noise of the hammering coming from the northeast. It is impossible to communicate now unless by hand signal or telepathy. But it seems the fire newts are equally deafened; to communicate they shout into each other's ear nubs at glass-shattering volume. What a cacophony!
Fulcra watches them behave, he points at each group member, talking in their heads, "Alright, seems like we should be able to surprise them easily enough, and without drawing others to us, let's attack...I'll attack from range....whenever you're ready..."

"You mean, we have to jump on some of them? But they are all over the place!" Cimeri tried to think in response, hoping, that Fulcra can get it. Not sure it went through, she pantomimed the phrase. Then she pointed at the far exit and then herself, indicating that she can try to cover that preventing creatures to run for help. At the other exit (closest to their location) she suggested to place Celtra or Azaka the same way. After that she draw the big question mark in the air - whether or not it is understandable and agreed upon?

Taman casts guidance on cimeri as she prepares to move forward to check the area ahead out. "Azuth's guide you..." He murmurs.

Upon further glimpses, it's apparent that they are not on fire, but glowing red; indeed, you all surmise, these are firenewts.
