Marius emerges from the wagon in the morning and looks around at the set up camp to see if there is anywhere he might be able to assist to expedite their travels.
Stanimir becons you over to ask if you can help get the tents together
Andros nods in Stanimir's direction. "I'm quite keen on getting this journey started."He walks over to where they're packing the boxes and tents and lends a hand. All the while keeping his eye on Stanimir.

You all start to get packed up in the caravan with everyone else. Once the horses start to go there is no turning back. It is brisk and foggy on the ground. The fog spills out of the forest to swallow up the road behind you. Ahead, jutting from the impenetrable woods on both sides of the road, are high stone buttresses looming gray in the fog. Huge iron gates hang on the stonework. Dew clings with cold tenacity to the rusted bars. Two headless statues of armed guardians flank the gate, their heads now lying among the weeds at their feet. They greet you only with silence. You can see it looks like the gates have been open. Stanimir says "It looks like your friend made it through ok"
"I think you've known him longer and more thoroughly than me. Friend isn't a description I would use."Andros chimes in. Andros looks at the statues to see if they have any meaning or are just regular old statues.
Investigation or History: They are both +1 19

They are just statues who may have had some meaning long long ago
“I am not familiar with the others as well,” Marius says as they continue onward.
Towering trees, whose tops are lost in heavy gray mist, block out all but a death-gray light. The tree trunks are unnaturally close to one another, and the woods have the silence of a forgotten grave, yet exude the feeling of an unvoiced scream.
You guys pass the other traveler Erilim. As you head to the camp.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erelim stepped aside, allowing wagons to pass. It was a bit surprising - Stanimir insisted the way to the Burgomeister is on foot only, yet, here they are, heading in the same direction. Oh, well, probably they did not have enough space in the wagons.
Some time later the unpleasant (and sadly - familiar) smell made Erelim to slow his steps. He tried to look around thorough the accumulating fog. Perception9

OOC: Stanimir won't go near the village you are going to

The foul scent leads you to a human corpse half-buried in the underbrush about fifteen feet from the road. The young man appears to be a commoner. His muddy clothes are torn and raked with claw marks. Crows have been at the body, which is surrounded by the paw prints. The man has obviously been dead for several days. He holds a crumpled envelope in one hand.
So, the same letter... Now he was even more sure in his decision to go straight to the Burgomeister - things must be desperate in the village. If anything, Erelim was cursing himself for the stop in the forest - shadows or not, he had to continue his journey.
Wolf howling did not frighten him. Yes, it might be the same that attacked that poor man, and most likely it's not an ordinary wolf (you do not need to be a ranger to see abnormal behaviour of a loner) but Erelim's goal was to get to the village. The wolf was free to follow if he did not know better.
Stanimir becons you over to ask if you can help get the tents together
We will get to you in just a bit, for now you have made your way along the Old Slavich Road. Your journey is about 2 hours on foot.
You can see boxes and tables being hauled into the wagons as well as tents. Stanimir greets you with a Good morning.
Stanimir says " It looks like one of your friends left already, so I guess we too should be on our way"
Andros nods in Stanimir's direction. "I'm quite keen on getting this journey started." He walks over to where they're packing the boxes and tents and lends a hand. All the while keeping his eye on Stanimir.

We now focus on Erelim

Erelim took the letter - the man payed with his life to deliver it, it has to be important. He checked the letter for address.

Zanfaelor will give Erelim a wave as they pass.
It looks like the same letter you recieved at the bar from the stranger. It is signed by the Burgomeister.
You hear a lone wolf howl in the distance.
The ones in the wagon start to get far off now from where you saw Erelim, you see
Erelim waved back, of course.
So, the same letter... Now he was even more sure in his decision to go straight to the Burgomeister - things must be desperate in the village. If anything, Erelim was cursing himself for the stop in the forest - shadows or not, he had to continue his journey.
