The Valley of Ends

Fingolin considers messaging the others, but the invisibility might be useful on the other side, if it holds. He tries to go through.

"Well no sense splitting the party, let's follow through." Resfaen says as she makes her way to the tree.

Gotch shrugs and follows, though not without a bit of concern.

As soon as you touch the tree, you feel yourselves become paralyzed as you pulled through the tree. One by one, the party sees flashing lights and bodies are stiff for a moment before feet hits hardwood floor and bodies relax.

The party looks around what seems like a large dining hall with fireplace to the left, a door to opposite wall that been partily blocked by all matter of items. TO the right is another closed door without a barricade. The room itself is dusty with disturbances everywhere with stuffed chairs, unremarkable paining and bookshelves lining the walls.

There's a leverl to your right with runes. The ceiling is a concave glasses dome that shows a nighttime exterior with moon and stars creating a dim light for the room itself.

A small humanoid sleeps on a blank in front of the unlit fireplace. 

After looking around the room Resfaen will once again use her Divine Sense ability.

Within the room, there's nothing that pings off her divine sense. 

Onyx is fluent in Common, Draconic, Elvish, Giant and Gnomish can he read the Books or the runes on the leaver? (If i have control again) He would do that quietly before anyone else arives.

The books seem mixed of common, something he doesn't understand (Resfaen tells him it's Celestial later) and elvish on various subjects, a few Onyx sees some books he know for leisure reading. The runes on the lever are not words per say just what you find with some magic spells but not ones Onyx recognized through he can tell the surface they're been written on has been eroded.

Upon his arrival, Salys would immediately move towards the lever and begin a careful, though contactless, examination.

Investigation/Arcana same modifier: 9

The runes themselves have no special effects beside they glow. With some mixing and fill in the blank, they seem to indicate Light.

Salys will use the lever.

Salyas pulls the levelr up and one by one, orbs begint o flow with soft light that illiminates the room and the fireplace springs to the life with a crackling  fire and with it the small sleeping figure jumps to it's feet, looks around before settling on the party.

"Oh my. Hello, good...," He looks up at the ceiling, "night. How may I be of assistance today?" He is a gray little humanoid, you can't tell his race under his thick old livery (old fashion uniform) and thick white hair that seem to stand out more this his facial features. 

As soon as they entered the area Gotch would start to ritually cast detect magic.  He would nod to the figure as they get up and start speaking, but continue his ritual.

„Sorry for interrupting your sleep, but where are we?“

"You are in the master's manor," The humanoid states and it takes a momebt to realize there's no follow up.

"There is something the matter?" He looks down at himself, "I must apologize for my appearance, I was not expecting guests so quickly I have not had time to properly attend to my clothes,"

Salys will move up and give a slight bow, "Our apologies for bursting in like this, we were investigating a strange tree that seems to be sending out ghosts or spirits and ended up here. May I ask where here is and who your master is?"

"Here is the manor, it's extradimensional dwelling owned by the master, Sir Ergion Valeworm," The servant replies.

Resfaen will move toward the closed door to see if it is locked and then stand guard.

The door to the right is unlocked and opens to what seems like a kitchen. As the door swings open, the party is assaulted by smell of mold coming from the kitchen. Looking into the room are more of the balls of fire that provides light to show moldy dishes on a distance table. Rusty utensils and dirty poans are scattered across the counter tops and dark windows across the wall.
