note, party should arrived at the mountain's base around afternoon with the mounts.

(Realizing if it was a five party, where would fifth mount stay with the tiny huy?)
After reading the messages and slapping away the spikes, the group remounts and heads off towards the dark mountain. As the partry ride, the wolves are first to notice and they start almost skipping, trying to keep their paws off the ground as much as they can before the rest sees the blacken ground is cracked and jets of hot stream jet out once in a while as the forest of charred tree husk fade away.
The party makes it to the base of the mountain and find it like a sauna, hot, humid and borderline bearable. Searching the mountain side wields no immediate paths up the side but you come across what seems like pitons leading to an overhanging cliff then out of fight from there.
Wish to try to climb here or continue to look for another route or something else?

"We can attempt to climb but not sure we can get our mounts up as well. We could just leave them here for now, but whatever has been following us might go after them first and then us. I think we should continue to search for another way up and maybe a way that the animals are not hurting their feet." Resfaen says.
Deciding against the cliff, everyone direct their mounts to continue following the mountain side for better route up. As they leave, stones seems to hit the ground behind them but looking back, no one sees anything. The journey around the mountain side yields no better path before nightfall arrives. Setting up the tiny hut and alarm, the party settles into the night but it was less than restful.
Travel through the arid and humid area starts to be felt as the group prepares for the night. While within the tiny hut, the atrmop[shere is comfortable and dry, it's just a minor comfort after 16 hours outside it. The Alarm is tripped in middle of the night and the party look out from the Hut to find nothing and during the last person's watch, towering walls of fire erupts around the hut. The guards wake everyone up once more and they prepare for a fight but after a minute, the walls die away to leave nothing but the sun rising up in the distance.
Everyone give a Con save throe DC 10 or gain one level of exhaustion.

Aura of Protection won't work here. This con saving is cumulative effect from the unbearable heat and very poor night's rest. aura ofd protection is strange aura but doubt it's a AC Unit.

The group remounts and travels down around the mountain side expect for Gotch's mount seem to be patting as it move but otherwise seems fine. It takes a few hours of traveling to find a path up the mountain that looks traveled through sparely that the wolves come move up but the path is very exposed and provides little in cover.

"I agree, bunching up seems like a poor decision. Would you like to take the lead while I guard the rear? I think we're the most armored of the group, probably should keep one of us on each end, Salys readies his pistol and prepares to take rearguard unless someone says otherwise.
