The Valley of Ends

Onyx races down the stairs but finds nothing at the bottom. The staiurs leading to a side door that's been boarded up wityhout any holes anything could fit through in the few seconds he saw it. Onyx turns and loops around the stairs to the hallways where he finds the party, A quick questioning reveal nothing ran in front of them but they saw the shadow run down the stairs.

Onyx can see a doorway under the stairs Onyx believes would lead downstairs to basement. There are five more doors down the hallways between Onyx and the party. 

Once inside Resfaen would follow along behind Onyx as he searches through the house.

Does the party wish to investigate? If so, how did you want to go about it?

Frustrated Onyx takes a a few seconds to take a deep breath. „That little piece of art is slippery...“ 

Onyx slowly approaches the basement door and opens it. Can he see anything? „I don‘t think we should split up to much here, since we have no idea where here is to begin with. Look for the little guy, search the house for clues or investigate the creepy magic box i saw upstairs?“

Onyx open the door to find a set of stairs parallel to the stairs he just came down leading into what looks like very damp  and slimy basement and possibly puddles of water from small part of basement he can see from the to of the stairs. The stairs send occupy most of the (for directional purpose) northern side of the house. 

“It might be best to look for clues. We don’t know what that thing is or if it’s a threat. The same could be said for the box.”

Salys stays where he is in the doorway, calling over his shoulder, "Whoever you are, you're safe for now. Please, just tell us where we are and how to get out of here."

Salys is met with giggling from every direction from the walls, behind the doors, above and below. 

Cythriel crouches down and sits on one knee. She switches hands on her staff so it is in her left, and puts her right hand on the ground as if to sense vibrations. She uses her primeval awareness.

Cythriel focus for a time before there are no Aberrations, Celestials, Dragons, Elementals, fey, Fiends, and Undead within a mile of them. 

“I think we may be best to burn down the house and move on.”

"I am not sure a towering inferno of a house wouldn't draw more denizens of this place to us." Resfaen says she she checks on the stone elemental to see if he is still smashing the scarecrows apart.

„This whole building gives me the creeps. Lets‘s look around on this level before we go down there.“ Onyx goes to the door closest to the exit and opens it.

Gotch is keeping track of time, knowing they only have an hour to do whatever they are going to do, prior to the scarecrows becoming a threat again. "I'd suggest we spend the time wisely, search this level, search the upper level, all prior to going downstairs." He looks back to the front door. "But we need to do it with some haste, as my construct is only going to be able to do what it is doing for a bit longer..."

Onyx looks around ignroing the calls to burn the house and opens the door to the east, to find a very old remains of a kitchen area, a few cabinets remains on the walls but more remains on the ground, a collapsed stove in the corner and a few broken tables also litter the floor. As Onyx inches around the room, searching he feel like he's being watched and could swears he sees eyes watching from cracks in the floor, walls and even ceiling. 

Resfaen looks outside to see the stone construct is still stomping around grinding it's foot around.

Onyx leaves the kitchen and goes to check the next room. “This feeling of being watched is creepy. Burning down this place becomes more and more attractive...”

First room Onyx opens, he quickly closes as it look the remains of the toilet and it was a mess. Opening the next middle door reveals a small closest and last door leads into the remains of a living room, as he looks around, he sees a closet door, just racked open and can see a small figure peeping through the gap but it just continues watching him, unaware it was spotted.

Salys shrugs, "I agree it's tempting, but seems a poor way to get the locals to help us figure out where we are and get out."

Onyx inches towards the figure, slipping into shadows to slowly approach the watching figure. Pulling on the door from the shadows, he picks up a whiff of sulfur from the closet as he sees a small dark gnome looking at him despite being in shadows, "I'm hungry. I hope those things soften the meat first," Onyx sees the small figure's arm explosively expanded, turning into slimily arm with large fists coming at him.

Attack: 23 Damage: 13 bludgeoning  plus 6 psychic

Attack: 16 Damage: 15 bludgeoning  plus 12 psychic

Only Onyx is in the room, everyone else is outside I believe. Resfaen checking on the construct near the front door while rest are discussing fire options in hallway.
