The Valley of Ends

Salys feels like almost got it unlocked before something slips and he loses all the tumblers he was just add ready to go. Whatever this door open, it was very secured.

The corridor is just a corridor, nothing magical about it. There's a broken door at the end and flickering lights beyond it. 

Onyx will sneak up to the broken door and flickering lights and tries to take a look what is behind.

Onyx moves to the broken room and his eyes water at the stink of chemical and death. The large room extends to your left where there is a closed stone door set into a carven arch. The room is lit by luminous orbs. A machine set against the far wall flickers and sparks with lightning.

On the side of the machine is a switch in the up position. A thick wire attaches the machine to one of the orbs in the wall. More wires connect the machine to the head of a nine-foot tall humanoid lying on a table. Broken shelves and tables are strewn about the edges of the room and the floor is covered in broken glass as well as a number of multi-colored puddles.

Resfaen looks at Gotch, sighs, looks up at the heavens, whispers a silent prayer and then goes back to retrieve the axe. With the new axe strapped to her back, she accompanies the group down the hallway, keeping a look out as the rest go about there searching.

Note, Salys has a key and it seems same material as the heavy iron door.

Salys puts away his tools with a sigh, remembering too late the key he had retrieved, and tries it in the lock. 

Salyas pushes the door slowly open, showing how heavy the door truly was. This room is dimly lit by a blue glow that intensifies and fades like slow breathing. Two barred cells take up the majority of the space. The first cell is empty but covered in scorch marks and scrawls of chalk. The second cell is occupied by an elf woman made of translucent blue light. The ghost sits on top of a skeleton, weeping into her hands, on a rotting bed of straw.

Salys looks back to the others, "This does not look good."

Religion Check: 7 (type of undead)

"Be careful to not disturb the elf, otherwise she will probably attack." Resfaen warns.

She's a ghost.

Onyx will put his weapons away and slowly aproach the Ghost, in Elvish he will ask: "Excuse me lady, what happened here?" 

Fingolin sees the sad ghost and just has to say something. One ghost can't be that dangerous anyway.

"Mae govannen, mellyn nín! Don't be afraid. We are well-intended folk looking for a way out of this place. Why are you sad? Can we help in any way?"

Gotch stays at the door, uncomfortable with the ghost.

Salys stays outside the door, watching the hallway. 

The ghost weeps with it's back to the party, she stop to peer over her shoulder and showing her elven face, streaked with tears before it feel like her face is rushing everyone.

Everyone expect Salys makes a Wis Save DC 12.

Wisdom save: 9

Resfaen Wis Save: 11

"What did I just say, don't disturb the ghost! I swear people!" AT which point Resfaen will channel her divinity and her battleaxe will start to glow and she will attack the ghost.

Using Divine Smite on both attacks.
