Whoops I missed a message,
Aerin will attack the hexed one again, using Green-Flame Blade again.
Attack: 24 Damage: 11 + 3
He will use action surge to attack it again, but if it's dead he will attack a different spider that looks like it's close to another spider for the flame blade. If it is a new target he will add Goading attack (+ 2 damage)
Attack: 22 Damage: 10 + 1
Then he will use his bonus action to make his cloak of billowing billow dramatically
Goading attack:
When you hit with a weapon attack, you can expend one superiority die to add the total to the damage roll and the target must make a WIS saving throw (DC 14). On failure, the target has disadvantage on all attack rolls against targets other than you until the end of your next turn.
De'ran skitters over to one of the spiders, missing it with his bite.
Thorin turns to the spider next to him and slams it with his spectral hammer, then calls fiery radiance down upon the spider, which cannot dodge out of the way in time. The spider is singed and battered and dripping ichor, but still standing.
Harbek sees the spider drop down and bite Garick and turns his pike on it, swinging a massive overhand swing down onto the spider's back, wounding it badly.
Garick, poison coursing through him painfully, lashes out at the spider, stabbing it with his rapier. He then sings himself a song of healing, closing some of his wounds.
Aerin swings his glowing sword down on a spider, gashing into it, then swings again cleaving the spider in two. With each swing green fire lashes out at the spider next to them, burning it fiercely. As Aerin steadies from his rapid-fire attack his cloak continues whipping about him as if he were swinging. A most impressive sight!
Sparks loses another of his illusory doubles, leaving just two of him behind. They both lash out at the spider wildly, missing it.
The blue faerie dragon, no longer shimmering with magical energy, continues biting and clawing at the webs restraining the red faerie dragons. Attack: 19 Damage: 1
Spider 2 begins to leap toward Aerin to attack, but is cut down with two vicious attacks before he is able to do so. The spider dies in a smoldering pool of it's own ichor.
Spider 3 chitters loudly as the flames from Aerin's blade strike into it. The spider looks on death's door, but presses its attack against Thorin. Bite: 15 Damage: 4. If the attack hits, DC 11 Con save or take 10 poison damage or half as much on a save.
Spider 4 reels from Harbek's onslaught, and turns to the dwarf, it's multitude of eyes glittering in the light from Aerin's sword. Furiously it launches it's attack at Harbek. Bite: 7 Damage: 11. If the attack hits, DC 11 Con save or take 5 poison damage or half as much on a save.
Spider 5 dodges the swords of two Sparks after coming up with a mouthful of air where it thought it would have feathers. Leaping forward it bites at Sparks again. Bite: 19 Damage: 5. If the attack hits, DC 11 Con save or take 11 poison damage or half as much on a save.
Casualties: ettercap, spiders 1 & 2.
Everyone take your turns! Aerin, you killed the spider on your second swing, before using goading attack so you still have that superiority die.
Housekeeping for next turn: dragon breath recharge: 6 spider 3 web recharge: 3
If any of the attacking spiders were in range Aerin will use his reaction and make a sentinel attack against them (just a regular attack so no leaping flame). Attack: 7 Damage: 10
Aerin then charges the Ettercap, moving his Hex to it and attacks with Green-Flame Blade. Attack: 13 Damage: 9 + 2 Necrotic Spellcasting mod: 2 Hex disadvantage: Dexterity
Sentinel attack:
When a creature within 5 ft. of you makes an attack against a target other than you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.
Harbek catches the spider’s bite on his mailed glove, and pushes it off before making another attempt to finish it off. He draws back, and makes another full swing.
De'ran skitters over to a spider and sinks his fangs into it, pumping it full of poison. The spider slumps to the ground, it's eyes going dull and lifeless as it dies.
Thorin sees the spider that had been attacking him fall and redirects his efforts against the spider attacking Sparks. Thorin's spectral hammer slams into the spider as it tries to dodge out of the way of the radiant energy blasting down on it from above (spider dex save, 15)
Harbek fends off a spider's attack with a mailed fist then lashes out at it with his pike, striking true. The spider reels back, leaking ichor from multiple wounds, but somehow still standing.
Garick swings his sword at the spider, glancing his blow of the spider's chitinous carapace.
Aerin sees an opportunity when the spider attacks and tries to capitalize on it, but his attack swings wide. He swings again barely missing once again with his glowing blade.
Sparks sees the spider finally attacking his true form, instead of one of the illusions and throws up a magical barrier, deflecting the spider's incoming jaws. With lightning reflexes he sends his rapier toward the spider, thrumming with magical energy. The strike lands true, skewering the spider that falls lifeless to the ground.
The blue faerie dragon continues biting and clawing at the webs. It is tough going for such a small creature, but he is making slow headway. "We appreciate the help,"he says between biting strands of spider silk, "but we could use a bit more!" Given time (less, if anyone helps) he manages to free the red faerie dragons from their confinement. "I had always envied the fey, in their fine silks. No more! I am Estival, and I was to be the main course for these..."he gestures with a wing to the carnage of spiders and ettercap littering the floor"sheep and their shepherd. And my children their appetizers."he says, looking at the red dragons flitting about the cavern."I thank you for freeing us. I have naught to offer you but gratitude, and to relinquish my claim on that shimmering, shining--"he shakes his head,"Never mind! You can have it! They're just things, why would I want them!"His eyes leave the pile of treasure at the back of the cavern reluctantly, but resolutely."When you are done gathering that,"he says with a sigh,"Speak to the dryad who entreated your aid. She has a request for ones such as you that will be a gift to you both."
With that, the faerie dragons flutter and flit around the cavern, making their way toward the exit.
De'ran will drop down from the ceiling on a strand of string, still in spider form and casually transform back onto his elven form. He slides down the string and rejoins his comrades. He looks to Aerin and says "Just a little scratch."He will make his way over to the treasure along with them to look at what's there.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Searching through the pile of treasure you find 250gp in various coinage, a magical rapier that thrums with resonant energy, and a small satchel containing 5bead of force.
While searching the room Flutter notices a crumpled and folded piece of paper poking out of the pocket of one of the bloodless corpses hanging on the wall. The Tressym retrieves it and delivers it to Sparks. The note is incomprehensible to the kenku. The first part is written in common, but the words don't make any sense when put together. Eventually Sparks recognizes that it is probably written in Thieves' Cant. Lower on the page is more indecipherable writing, but his is clearly in a language ans script Sparks does not know.
Passing the note around, only Thorin is able to read the bottom section of the note.
Any seeking asylum, from law, debt, persecution, or any other force will find refuge in the Monastery of the Distressed Body in the Mistcliff. The Grand Master offers shelter and protection to all who submits to their authority.
((I have a super busy day at work today, so this will probably be my only post for the day. I might try to get another one in after work, but no promises. Let me know who's going to use the magic items and I can add them to your character sheets. Not sure if you can do it yourself for the homebrew item.))
Spider 3 Con save 9
Just waiting on Aerin, I think.
Edit, should have been Dex, but that only takes it to 11, still fails.

(The dice values changed when I added Goading attack, my bad. I can roll again if needed)

The attack would hit, but Sparks casts shield as a reaction, blocking the bite with a shimmering shield of force.
He then turns to attack once more... This time remembering he has 'bless' on him as well... Casting booming blade
Attack: 14 Damage: 5
De'ran skitters over to a spider and sinks his fangs into it, pumping it full of poison. The spider slumps to the ground, it's eyes going dull and lifeless as it dies.

All enemies are now vanquished, combat is over.
(I just realised that I forgot to add bless to the attack rolls, silly me. It doesn't really matter anyway since we defeated them)
"Whew, glad thats over. Anyone badly hurt?"
(Also what are the dragons doing now?)

Aerin will help cut them down, then inspect the treasure they speak of as well as the immediate areas.
Investigation: 10 + 2 from Bardic Inspiration that I also forgot to use
Harbek will help get the dragons free, and before we leave, burn the webbing.
Paladin - warforged - orange
Sparks will first cast detect magic as a ritual.
Then Sparks will look over the treasure, then head down the passage to see if anything else is down there. He will take Flutter with him for both.

Sparks giving Flutter the help action.
