INTO THE DARK STAR

One of you learn the following ability:

BARRIER OF UMBRA
When activated, you and any number of targets you can see are protected by a shield that prevents all damage of any kind indefinitely until deactivated. 

The body of Villanelle, to your surprise, suddenly turns brittle and slowly disintegrates, and when complete, there is nothing left of her. You can feel the floor of the Eldritch arena lower, like an elevator. It descends for an extremely long time into the planet until it breaks away and you find yourself free falling into the center of the planet, but you soon realize it's not a planet, but an impossible large island. Looking up, you can see it - it's truly enormous, and below, you become cold, terribly cold, and realize that in a few moments, you will be floating in the coldness of space. 

Tiger Tora pants tiredly with effort, her wounds seeming to heal slightly as the ethereal mist surrounds her. Her body is filled with more power, and she feels her soul fusing together with her inner tiger's. As she walks over to Father and Dia, she lowers her head respectfully. "Th... thank you... I couldn't have done it without your assistance." She seems almost surprised when the words come out of her form, pausing in thought before lifting her head to look at the others. 

Dia lands lightly and smiles at Tora. "Well, well, look who's speaking up now," she says with a wink.

Father’s brows raise in surprise at the tiger speaking for the first time in that form. Using Dia’s words as confirmation that he wasn’t going crazy, he merely gives her a nod. “Think nothing of it. You put up quite the fight against her. I’m sure Umbra is pleased with the result.”

Tiger Tora nods and tilts her head slightly. "I... think this is part of it. My curse? I think... I'm just like this now?" Tiger Tora gestures to her tiger body with some thought. 

INTO THE DARK STAR

While you guys have a pleasant conversation free falling into the depths of space, Toratigra activates the shield, allowing you all to breathe, survive the cold, and maneuver in space. In the distance, you can see two things - the island of tentacles you came from, and a massive black star surrounded by a purple corona next to it.

The star is about 900,000 miles in diameter, more than 12,000 Toril's could fit inside it. 400 billion atmospheres of pressure create a density far greater than solid steel. The core temperature of the umbral star is well over 27 million degrees, so you realize you are in for the challenge of all eternity. From the surface of the star, it's about 450,000 miles to the center where an Elder God resides. There are some places on the star where you can walk on, the surface temperature only 5000 degrees - without the shielding, you realize it would be only a matter of seconds before you'd be completely incinerated.

Umbra lies in the solar interior, and as you approach there star, you realize that only a few mortals have ever tried to accomplish what you're about to do.

UMBRAL SQUIDDLES
A massive shadow creature, a titanic umbral-like squid creature, eldritch and black like the cosmos, orbits close to the surface having made it's home by a God of Shadow and Darkness. The squid is not intelligent but is relatively tame due to an absence of natural enemies such as mere pesky mortals. It leaves a trail of inky shadow as it orbits, and itself is the size of a small moon. Shockingly, it detects your presence and thinks you are food, and because of it's size, is almost impossible to evade. You can either fight it, or try and hide in the roiling granules of the surface of the star. You can feel unbelievable power rage through your body and souls, multiplying your power - the sensation is beyond words or anything you could imagine. You feel more powerful than all the Gods of Toril combined.

Tora frowns, letting her mist hide her as she attempts to hide and wait for the squid to pass by them.

THE SUNSPOTS

On the surface of Umbra, physics acts just like on a regular star - only more sinister. Invisible sunspots dot the surface, and must be avoided at all costs. These solar storms do terrible damage. No only do you find any metal you're wearing acting strangely, you realize you need to burrow deep inside the outer layer in order to avoid them.

Each of you need to make 5 DEX saves at DC40. If any of them fail, you take 1d1000 stellar damage as your protection gets scrambled and you literally fry to death on the surface of an actual star.
