"There's creatures in the darkness. Let's not try anything foolish."

Upon seeing the rats, Lucina gets giddy with her eyes sparkling and lips broadening into a wide smile as she observes the creatures back. “Aren’t you guys just adorable! Wanna come along with us? We got cheeeese.”

Camilla looks at Lucina mildly perplexed. "Whoa there." she woahs. "As a doctor, I must admit the thought of trying to attract dungeon mice and or rats..for Hells knows what reason..is not the most sterile activity we've done since our group up.." she thinks for a moment. "However, I did just eat a gummi worm produced from your pocket and tried to use it medically as a leech before i knew IT WAS CANDY!" she shouted the last part, still in disbelief of the memory of asking for something, and getting something completely different.

"Stop shouting! There are creatures here that want to eat us. You'll bring them here if you make noise."

She does another double take. "And you have cheese? You carry cheese with you?"

Stacey will meet up with a small lizard in the shadows, she'd blink at it. "Something wants me to ask if you're Donald Jr." The rogue would snort at herself, wondering if it's her amnesia messing with her again. She'd shrug then continue her scout, watching out for Belial's concerns about creatures hiding in the darkness with her.

"My mom enchanted my pockets," Lucina explains while Cherri is completely making this shit up on the spot. "She didn't want me to starve so whenever I dig in my pockets, I get some food item." She dug through her pocket and retrieves a piece of cheese. "See?" She tosses it towards the rats who didn't seem interested in her offer then turns to Belial. "Sorry for the noise. I'm sure there's more rats I can befriend somewhere..."

Alfred whispers to Blade “think I could smoke one of those rats?  Dare me?”  He then walks off, snickering. 

Belial shrugs. "It's fine. If you don't find a rat here, I'll buy you one later."

Blade smacks the dwarfofmanynames over the head and stays quiet.

"Your mom enchanted your po-" Camilla was beginning to ask, but suddenly the most adorable little blue octopus landed on Lucina's head like a hat with a wet SPLAT and started groping towards the cheese in her hand with one of it's wittle arms. Camilla emitted a quick, high pitched scream of terror and just stared at it. "What the ****!!"

At first Lucina was bewildered at the sudden weight on her head, and screams along with Camilla, but gathers enough composure to reach with her free hand and feel at what exactly it was. 

With a smile smile on her face she gives the octopus the cheese and give it a loving pat on its head... thing. 

Alia blinks. "...Okay. That's a thing. Now."

Fauna blinks in confusion and tilts her head slightly at everything that just happen, deciding to not comment and look forward with Stacy. 

"Why is there an octopus on your HEAD that..apparently..likes cheese?!" Camilla pushes her eyeglasses back on her nose. "What would an octopus even be DOING here!?"

You can hear something large and wet slithering in the darkness beyond.

SirIneverstealth attempts to hide in the shadows-

Lucina gives Camilla a shrug and a sheepish smile. “I dunno, but I guess it’s just fate that brought me and Squiddles here together.”

At the sound of something down the hall, Lucina’s face goes serious as she unsheathes her blade, her eyes scanning the darkness for whatever was coming up ahead.

Belial looks at Camilla. "I mean, after everything that's happened, Lucina getting a cheese-loving octopus isn't the weirdest thing."

Hearing the wet slithering, Space Cadet will continue her scout that way.

Passive perception is 16 but rolling in case you need higher: 18

Camilla was about to say something when SirCannotStealth sounded like a cabinet of pots and pans being pushed over - but Space Cadetsky saw a huge Ocher Jelly approaching, brave enough to face off against you all. "Ew, gross." Camilla said, "It's like a huge mound of living ear wax." she noticed, looking at SirLooksLikeIt.
