RECAP:While travelling to Winterhaven for various reasons, you were all attacked by kobolds after meeting an exhausted tiefling sorcerer on the road named Camilla. After defeating the kobolds, you arrived at Winterhaven and were hired to destroy the kobolds at the source, a cave north. You were attacked by kobolds again. Upon wiping them out at the cave, you found out that goblin named Irontooth was leading the kobolds in the name of an unknown master who plans to open a rift where Orcus's undead can pour into the realm. You were hired to check out the keep on the hill about five miles from here - the only place around here where a cult could hide out and make a base of operations in.
Blade thanks Belial for the room and goes to bed, though he doesn't really get much sleep as he spends most of it just lying in bed staring at the ceiling.
Lucina hands Belial a gold piece. "Thank you for doing that, but it doesn't feel right for you to pay for my amenities." She gives the other aasimar a quick bow in hopes she didn't offend her in anyway, then turns to Camilla. "I know you need your rest, but if you're still feeling up for it, I'm willing to listen to you talk more about your home. You know where to find me." She gives a small smile. "Goodnight everyone." She says then heads to her room.

Camilla handed Belial the gold. "You don't have to pay for my room. Keep it. Thank you for..saving me."she smiled bashfully.
She watched Lucina head up to her room, and smiled. She wanted to follow her, but thought about something first, sitting at the bar. She reached into her pack and took out a small photo of a group of people: an elven female, one with a human female appearance, a small child like kenku girl, a large minotaur, and a small kobold. Camilla saw herself in the photo as well, and her eyes welled up with tears. Everyone in the photo, at that moment in time, seemed happy. She waved over the barkeep, and plunked down some more money. She ordered a stiff drink, and when it came she stared at the picture for a long time. She smiled again, raised the glass to the people in the photo quietly, downed the drink in a few gulps, and slammed the glass down, wincing, and nearly coughing.
She put the photo away, stared at the stairs leading up, and after a moment of consideration, walked upstairs to Lucina's room.
Lucina had been combing through her now let down hair when she hears the knocking at her door, the blood hunter perking up and speeding up the process, all the while saying 'just a moment' to dissuade Camilla from walking away. She couldn't shake the giddiness she felt with the opportunity to talk more about the Nine Hells and about Camilla herself, viewing the tiefling as an interesting mystery. What happened to her prior to her joining them? What other cults has she faced against? How does she do the magicky thing where she takes out medical equipment from thin air? So many questions!
She puts down her comb on the table and gets up for the door, opening it slowly just to take a quick peek to make sure it was really her (a habit her mother told her to get into when staying anywhere in general), then opens the door fully to allow her inside. "Please make yourself comfortable!" She says with excitement behind her words, closing the door behind. "I really do appreciate you coming by even though you must be exhausted. I-I can make this quick I promise, and also if I get too, um, personal, please tell me! You're always welcome to question me too, it's only fair." She nods and listens to Camilla if she had anything to say prior, then when given the go ahead, she begins, sitting herself on the bed.
"You said that you ran away from Avernus, which probably wasn't an easy feat... How did you do it and... why?"

Alia thanks Belial softly for paying for her room, although a faint frown appears when Blade leaves before she can talk to the strange aasimar. Instead, she grabs some dinner and watches the others, noting who goes upstairs immediately and who stays, all the while playing with her small, gold flecked stone.
"I don't know why you want to talk to him so much." Belial says to Alia. "I tried talking to him earlier and he just said a bunch of stuff that made me uncomfortable. I guess that Lucina was right when she said that most of us aasimar are rude."

Alfred gladly accepts Belial's offer to pay for his room. And in kind return, about an hour later, a soft rapping greets Belial at her door. A pimply teenaged hobbit stands there, and discretely hands Belial a package wrapped tightly in twine. Quickly unwrapping it, Belial discovers that Alfred has purchased and sent her a nice supply of high-grade cannabis!
Rather than going out to party, Alfred instead retires to his room and quickly falls asleep. Loud snoring can be heard from all the rooms adjacent to his...pity the fools who were willing to select rooms next to a dwarf!
Stacey would sway side to side in her seat while she sipped her tea, enjoying the company downstairs for a little bit. As she sipped she could feel her headache fade away. “Cultists in the morning and in the afternoon. Cultists in the evening and underneath the moon.” She’d hum a familiar melody that randomly pops into her head. Skinamarinky a dink a dink...
Alia shrugs at Belial. "He looks interesting. I don't think he meant to be rude, I think he just...didn't think. My mother likes to say that everyone has a story, and that story is often worth hearing." She blushes slightly. "It's not important, anyway. Oh! And you don't have to worry about me prying," she adds hastily, her blush intensifying as she stares down at the stone in her hand. "I always stop if someone seems uncomfortable...I'm not as good at figuring that out as my mom though," she adds in a mumble, eyes now fixed on her hands as her cheeks continue to flame in embarrassment and she looks like she wants to vanish into her hood.
Camilla found the whole situation inviting and definitely cute. "I'm fine, really."she said truthfully, sitting down next to Lucina. "I enjoy the company. You seemed on the verge of a panic attack earlier today at the kobold cave. This will give me an opportunity to make sure you're ok and check you over."she said, as if talking to a patient. "Hold still for a moment, this won't hurt a bit."A small two dimensional frame appeared in her open hand and in her other hand a small cylindrical scanning device popped into existence that she guided by moving her hand around. The little minute movements her fingers made, the small magical device moved around different parts of her head. She closed both hands and they winked away. "You're fine. I can't find anything abnormal. That's good news! Now that we got that out of the way, I believe I have a few questions, correct? No problem."
"My earliest memory is of fire and devils. I don't know who my real parents are, but I always knew I never fit in as a tool of Zariel or Asmodeus. From an early age I showed an adept interest in medicine and healing the sick, and Avernus used that to their advantage. I never said anything because I got the education I wanted, and they got a skilled healer. Everything turned upside down when they transferred me to the military. Hell is currently locked in a brutal war. They made me do horrible, terrible things - experiments, inflicting pain, torture. The experiments were the worst. Usually performed on captives, innocents - it didn't matter. What Zariel wanted was what Zariel got, the punishment of disobedience was a far worse fate. So, I ran away. I fled to the Prime Material in hopes of..getting away from it all. Each time I try and live a normal life I just get sucked up into..something."
"Maybe he does, but if he wants to do the whole Tall,Armored, and Mysterious act, I'm not gonna bother him while he does. Especially since there's so many people in this party that I can have an actual conversation with. Like you, Lucina, Camilla,Stacey..." As Belial mentions the rogue, she looks in her direction and notices that the tea she gave her is starting to kick in. Yep. Definitely waiting until later to let everyone know about the gift that Alfred gave me. Much later.

Alia shrugs. "Well, since you're here and willing to have a conversation..." She smiles faintly, some of the blush vanishing. "Why were you heading to Winterhaven, or in this direction?"
"Oh! Thank you for the room by the way Belial." The rogue would bow her head in appreciation, sure that she will have the opportunity to repay the favour at another time. "It's not good to get trapped in your own head..." She'd smile, "I feel much less insane the more time I spend speaking outside of myself. Conversations are healthy, uncomfortable or not."
"You're welcome, Stacey." She says to the rogue before turning back to Alia. "A friend of mine told me that there was a cult in this area that needed to be stopped. I guess that's what we just dealt with."

How much are rooms at the inn?

I'd say 1gp for a very nice room with pretty much all you can eat.
Belial will pay 9gp to get everyone nice rooms. "Eat up and get a good rest, because tomorrow we're going to be dealing with cultists, apparently."
