Sitting down next to the large shaggy man I prop my staff in front of me resting on my shoulder. The rest of my meager belongings in my lap. “Hello fellow traveler. I am called Lotara.”
Faereth watches the goblin vender, but elects to not buy anything. She has little money to begin with, and cannot spare to purchase potions when she will need to keep what she has for arranging her accommodation amongst other things when she arrives at her destination.
Assuming that the goblin isn't being offensive, Faereth will let the little critter natter on.
Canavar sits at the edge of the, seemingly distracted by everything happening around him. His eyes dart from passenger to passenger as they shuffle about. When the traveler next to him speaks he flinches and digs his thick, animal-like nails into the arm of his chair. He stands quickly and begins reaches towards his back. He locks eyes with Drix, shakes his head wih as little movement as possible. Canavar demeanor changes instantly, as a smile grows on his face exposing his sharp canines. He plops back into the chair. "Hello. I'm Canavar. That's a nice staff. You fight with that, huh? You don't look old, really."

Carric slumps into his seat, glad that his training gave him a bit of an advantage over the crowd. He gives the man in black robes a quick once-over before opening his book and continuing to read.

As you spring to your feet, reaching for your weapon, I move instinctively into a low defensive stance. Deftly flowing out of my seat my staff falls into one hand while the other is held out to try to fend any oncoming blow. Relaxing and sitting as I see I had just startled you “Nice to meet you Canavar. Apologies. I should not have startled you.“ Then chuckling “Thank you. I suppose I am not really old. I prefer to use the staff to walk. The Path of Light leads me many directions though, so I try to prepare as I can.” Seeing her closer up you can see that she has tattoos on her bare shoulders and midriff. And an odd look to her face. It seems almost too symmetrical and sharp.
The goblin prattles on about his potions. As it doesn't it interest Faereth, he tries switching the subject every while. First he switches to his family, then associates, then friends, then places, and finally manage to drone out his voice as he keeps going.
Carric can see that the man is a warforged, by the sound of his core humming and his gears. Carric also feels the slight bit of magic going about his skin. The warforged appears to be inactive right now.
Carric takes out a quill and ink and attempts to make notes in the margins of the pages he is reading. His interest though is drawn to the large man he followed through the crowd and the strange way he seems to be behaving. He keeps glancing at him every now and then but makes an effort to be discreet so as not to offend the man or his masked friend.

Faereth has somewhat phased out the prattlings of the goblin, now recalling more about home and her current task, almost dozed off into a trance whilst waiting for the lightning rail to reach its destination.
Drix scans the people in the immediate vicinity. Mostly trying to get a better look at the people with clothing that obscure their features. ((Perception:11+3))
The hunter makes eye contact with Canavar who is already bad in a crowd but a tight space seems almost overwhelming. Drix gives him a stern look to remind him of the task and nods slightly for the man to take his seat. The shifter seems to focus himself well enough though.
Drix gives the human with a lock-box next to him an appraising look. He looks down at his sidearm and back up at the human. "You should switch seats with my shifter friend back there. You'd probably be more comfortable."The statement almost came out as more of a suggestion than a demand. ((Intimidation3 maybe +2 for STR/show of force instead of CHA?womp womp))
Canavar seems slightly confused by the conversation with the tattooed woman. "Um, maybe light path was too dark, an that's how you hurt your leg? But, you don't move like your leg is hurt..."A look of realization slowly dawns on his face. "Ahh, you're are priest! What is the Path of Light? I follow Balinor the Beastlord. He's the best god. What's your name?"
This time Lotara laughs loudly. "Yes, I am a person of faith. Most call us monks, and we do have a hard time speaking plainly sometimes. The Path of Light is the faith of my people, the kalashtar. My name is Lotara."
(Would I have any knowledge of Balinor or of Shifters? Checks if needed.)
There's a few individuals who have their identity obscured. To note, the one covered in black robes by the elf you've seen before. What seems to be a woman, wearing a purple veil around her face, near Canavar. And a man in the front, who keeps his hood up and his mouth covered.
"Naw, I'm alright mate. Been running my legs ragged since this morning to catch this train with this hunk of iron. I'm a bit tuckered out at the moment so I'd rather rest then try to move again." The man sets the strong box onto his lap and pulls it close to him, "In fact, could you do me a favor and wake me once we reach Sharn. Just give a good punch and I should be up." The man isn't fazed by your subtle intimidation and readies himself to a nap.
@ Lotara
Through a few missionaries visiting the monastery, you know that Canavar is referring to one of the Sovereign Host. Balinor is the Sovereign of the Horn and the Hunt. He guides both beasts and hunters and is the patron for those who live in both civilized and natural lands.
You've heard tale of people who can take on a bestial aspects but don't know what kind of animals they can mimic.
Canavar seems much calmer talking to Lotara after she laughs out loud. He put his pack and ax on the floor between his legs and slumps back in the seat. "I have never met a monk before. It sounds nice. You should tell me about this light path you all follow..." Canavar's eyes begin closing and his head dips downs. Within seconds, a quiet snore can be heard.

Smiling quietly to herself as the beastial man slips into sleep. “Watch over his dreams Tara. Protect them from the Dark.” With that she places her hands on her knees and focuses on her breathing and taking in her surroundings while also separating herself from them. Slipping into A well practiced meditation.
(For reference, Faereth's mind is on her current goal, and isn't interested in a goblin's random tales. She's happy to converse with people, not listen to a person's life story for no real reason. If required, she has Passive Perception 13)
After a few more minutes, Faereth finally looks to the goblin. "Do you by chance know if there are toilet facilities on this locomotive?" She asks in a warm tone, cutting off the conversation. While she isn't desparate to relieve herself, it will give her a chance to stretch her legs and perhaps get away from the goblin that is annoying her.
((Is Carric able to tell any more about the magic coming from the warforged? Is it just a low level type like would be present in a regular wizard or magic user, or is there something more to it? If necessary Arcana: 14))

The people in the car are either too busy setting their luggage about or recovering from the rush. The few passangers that are already set in are is just making room for the other passengers.
The half-elf beams brightly, "Well I was sent an invitation from my cousin in Sharn. He wants me to help him with an expedition he has planned. If everything goes well, he'll recommend me for Clifftop's Guild!" The boy says proudly.
@ Faereth
The goblin nods, "Yea, just gotta go past the coach car. It'll be in the car with a bunch of tables at the front of the car. I can save your spot for you, toots." The goblin grins.
@ Carric
From previous studies, you remember that warforged can repair themselves through something similar to your trance. Though they have to remain inactive, their armor will repair themselves through magical means powered through their core.
The train suddenly shifts in place as it slowly starts moving. A crewman comes into the steerage car as he raises his hand, "Attention please, attention. We shall arrive in Sharn in two hours. If anyone needs a meal, the chefs will have something prepared in thirty minutes. Head to the dining car and our staff will serve you a meal according to your ticket. If there's any problems, please tell a crewman and we will try our best to help you." The man gives a slight bow as he heads to the cargo car in the back.
@Carric
As the man finishes his speech, you can sense the magic around the warforged dissipate. As it does, the warforged seems to be more alert.
Once the man is in the cargo car, the one besides Carric stands up, "Excuse me." He says as he walks out of his seat. He heads to the cargo car.
Carric puts the stopper in his ink and stands up to let the warforged out easier. As he sits back down his eyes follow the fellow, he's curious about the warforged since he hasn't seen one up close before. He's even more curious about the magic that surrounded him briefly, as he is of all magic these days.
