Smallfry, with Lia’s help, takes a closer look at the frame. Around the edge are some draconic runes. Some of the words are archaic, but still readable.

As inspections and inventorying of loot is done, the white light emitting from the frame fades revealing a young, strawberry-haired girl, wearing a sundress on the other side.
”Ah, this is much more easy!” her voice comes from the frame. “I’ve trying speak with you for some time, but you have been oddly elusive, Lia.”
”Are Oswin and Valentia with you?”
She then sees the diminutive Dragonborn next to Lia, “Didn’t expect you to be here, Smallfry. But, the path of fate is often a strange one.”
"Ooooh! Miiiithriiiiiil!" </Gimli voice> Jororic exclaims. "I won'er ifn it be me size?" he ponders. Listening, he raises his eyebrows, "I t'ink dey be talkin' ta someone ou' thar. Le's go see!" Jororic will help gather and come out to the group.
"I didn't meet him," Smallfry says. "Unless he was disguised as somebody else. I dunno, I'm admittedly not clear on a whole lot that's going on. A little under an hour ago I thought I was investigating an empty ruin, and then I nearly got killed by a ghost snake that threw a metal thing at me. So, uh... could you explain why you know our names? And why you're acting like an ally, despite apparently overseeing the things that make me wake up screaming sometimes?
"Oh! Oswin, Jororic. This is Lysli... uh... Liss... This is the Overseer of Nightmares, she knows our names and appeared in the spooky glass. Oswin, remind me to ask you later what that walking metal thing of yours is, the one the snake threw at me."
“Lyssida...” She corrects Smallfry “and I suppose some explanations are due...”.
“Admittedly, we nightmares for not have a good reputation to say the least. Most figments of my kind are tricksters at best but tend to go a bit too far.”
”I am one of two who are in charge of maintaining the barrier between the Wyrdrealm, the true world of dreams, and the rest of reality. As part of my nature, I know who has been in my shared realm.”
“Back to the matter at hand. My counterpart, the Overseer of Fantasy, has disappeared. As it is right now, I can keep up the barrier with some difficulty.”
“You see, the Wyrdrealm is unique the respect where the gods are unable to have a presence unless they have permission from one of the two Overseers. Now, imagine if there was no barrier and Wyrdrealm merges with your reality.”
“I sent my taskmaster to investigate to search for the other Overseer, as well as try and disrupt some rituals. He encountered with Lia and her companions at an old lumberyard. It was not exactly a peaceful one, but they accidentally helped. So he has some respect for them.”
”You said you have defeated a ghost snake...? I think that may have been a wild id. They are very dangerous psychic predators. But, if you killed one you must be quite capable.”
Concern hits her, “Wait... where exactly are you?”
“My taskmaster told me there are similar temples in that corner of your world. In fact, they were ALL supposed inactive. Did you see anything or anyone else there? Ids do not have the ability to reactivate this temple’s portal.”
Lia will finish off her short rest, then ask. "So where to from here?"

((ok, I'll bite))
Jororic elbows Oswin while saying, "Lookee dat! Le's see if 'nythin' be thar!" With that, he walks to the chest to open it.
Oswin will hold him back a moment while he checks it over and , if locked, attempts to pick the lock.
Investigation: 23
Thieves’ tools: 23
As old as the chest was, the lock on it was quite robust. Nevertheless, Oswin makes short work of it. Inside
Oswin and Jororic find:
700 copper
7000 silver
2100 gold
100 platinum
A mythril armor;very lightweight piece of half plate armor
A vial containing a transparent liquid and a silvery sliver
A vial with a red, shimmering liquid
And a quiver of bolts.

(Does Lia recognize the person in the glass?)
"I think this is a bait," Smallfry mutters to Lia out of the corner of his mouth.
He takes a step toward the glass. "Hello! I don't know how you know my name. Are you a bait?"
Also, Insight check on literally whatever she says next: 15
The girl gives a small shrug, “Very wise not to trust me outright. But, no. I’m not bait. It’s in my nature to know all who have been in my realm.”
Realization hits her “Ah! I seem to have inadvertently put you at a disadvantage. I am Lyssida, Overseer of Nightmares.”
”Normally, I would introduce you to my taskmaster. However, he is out at the moment, and evidently, some of you have already met him.”
Smallfry doesn’t detect any deception in her voice.

((just making sure we're all together)) :-)
The ammunition is magical, the clear potion has a transmutation enchantment and the red potion has a restorative enchantment.
And yes, the armor is mythril.

"Yes we have met your task master." Lia agrees with a nod. "As to where we are..." She tells the overseer their location.
Oswin would listen carefully and quietly for now, waiting for all of this to make sense somehow.

Lia would describe the strange glowing sphere and the way the dead kept rising, pretty much everything since they entered the temple.
