Bounding towards the other two gnolls and covering the 30 feet distance in a matter of seconds, Krackle mauls the closer one and snaps at it with his powerful jaws and razor sharp teeth and claws. He draws quite a bit of blood from the creature, who desperately tries to defend himself.
Apparently seeing that their ambush has failed, those two gnolls turn and take off running through the grass as fast as they can away from the bear. (Dash action, covering 60 feet this round.) As they sprint across the field, they're briefly lit up by a flash of lightning that cracks very nearby. A couple seconds later, an earth shaking boom cracks overhead and rumbles across the landscape. You can feel it in your chest.
As they flee, Krackle can make an AOO on the one he just hit.
Right now, those two remaining gnolls are about 250 feet away from the road. Krackle is 180 feet from the road, Chrys is 75', Vesper is 60' and Kess is 30'. The demonic illusion is still hovering in the grass about 90 feet away from the road.
The thunderstorm appears to be at it's height right now, and the rain is coming down in a torrential deluge. The wax cloths did a little bit to keep parts of your dry, but for the most part, you're soaked all the way through your clothing.
Lumen crouches down in response to the thunder and rejoins the others by the road. If Kess looks really bad off, he will use the last of his arcane reserves to offer to heal her while they hunker down and wait for the storm to relent a bit, and for Krackle to return.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Krackle would lash out at the gnoll as it attempts to flee. (I don't know if an attack means an attack action? Like I get to use my multi attack or just pick claws or teeth)
Claws! Attack: 26 Damage: 15
After raking his claws across the back of the gnoll, The bear would quickly scan his eyes over the corpse of the enemy and use his mouth to rip anything that looked like a bag or coin pouch from the creature before returning back towards his companions. The bear would be taking deep labored breaths as it holds the bag in its mouth. Snot would drip from his nose and after a large sneeze, the bear would shift back into the tiny kobold. The kobold would begin looking through anything he managed to collect from the gnoll while standing in the rain and mud but would quickly stop at the sight of Kess. "OH! You're hurt... here! I can help! Let me help!" He would say before coughing so hard he nearly fell over. He would then quickly place both of his muddy (and gnoll blood covered) claws on Kess's leg and cast cure wounds.
6 healing.
If she still appeared to be bleeding badly, the kobold would close his eyes and sniffle a bit before casting the spell once again 7. Once she seemed to be feeling better, the sick and exhausted kobold would make his way back through the rain and the grass... leaning into the wind as though he were being compelled to check the other two dead gnoll bodies for anything of value. After searching them he would join the group once more.. nearly collapsing with whatever treasures he does or does not find in the rain and the mud.
As the two gnolls flee, Krackle gives one of them one last swat with his massive paw across the back of the head. The force of the blow is enough to knock the creature down, and it slumps to the grass, motionless, it’s head bleeding profusely.
The last one manages to escape, and you quickly lose sight of him as he hurriedly scrambles in a half crouch through the tall grass away from the road.
Upon inspecting the three fallen gnolls, you find a total of 18 cp, 12 sp and 10 gp tucked away in small pouches on their waists, in addition to some bits of dried meat, of which kind you have no idea. From what you’ve heard about these bloodthirsty creatures, they’ll feast on just about anything they can catch, which includes everything from livestock, to wild animals, and even unfortunate travelers and villagers who have fallen under their spears.
By now, the rain as started to subside, and the thunder seems to be slowly moving eastward. You all regroup on the road, Krackle heals Kess’s three painful wounds, and you help her carefully remove the barbed arrow, which is definitely different and more vicious than the other two arrows that pierced her armor
You’re all soaking wet, and you figure that you have about three more hours of travel before you reach Yartar.
Vesper will cast Prestidigitation on everyone to dry off before they get sick. Or in Krackles case, sicker. "Rains cleared up. I guess that we should get going again."
She picks up her pack and then gets the second with Mage Hand.

"Glad you're all okay. Let's get going. Krackle, let me bundle you and carry you in the cloak again. Vesper, thank you for drying everything. Losing battle, but it helps. I'm thinking the temple of Tymora to see Ehrland and hopefully a cleric who can help us? Before going to Dundragon?"
He's ready to head off back to town, after someone's gathered the coin and any valuables from the archers. "Kess, I assume you can always use arrows?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The kobold would quickly scoop up his share of the coins... eyeing the remaining coins for a moment before letting out a loud sneeze. Krackle would give Vesper a nod as he shivers and his pointy teeth chatter together while she dries him off. Even after he is no longer wet... the tired kobold would continue to wrap his arms around his tiny chest and sneeze as he is carried on Lumens back... still sniffling and shivering ever so slightly.
(Rolling the con save now to see if Krackle gets a level of exhaustion after reaching yatar, 13)
Chrys will have retrieved her javelin before rejoining the others. "Thanks, everyone,"she says with a nod of appreciation. "I think we should push on to Yartar regardless o' the weather. Or 'cause of it. I don't want ta weather a night out in another storm like that! Let's get a move on," she agrees.
Being at least a little drier than you were a few minutes ago, thanks to Vesper’s magic, you turn facing west once again and continue walking at your relatively fast pace along The Evermoor Way.
With each passing minute, the drops from the sky lessen. The the storm seras to have run its course now, and in front of you, the gray clouds begin to lift, and the sun pokes through once again, casting a crisp, slightly warm glow across the landscape. Warmth return ms to the air, and as you briefly look back, you can see a bright rainbow lighting up the sky behind you.
Finally, after a couple more hours of uneventful walking, you begin to pass the town’s outlying farms, where you see people working and tending to their crops. A little while further, the road turns from dirt back to a bed of flat stones, and then, upon passing over a small rise, the taller spires of Yartar come into view.
From there, it’s inky a short walk before you find yourself passing under the open gates of the large town, tired from a long day of walking. Given that it’s about an hour before sunset, you figure you walked for about 9 hours today, with a few very short rest stops to eat, drink and refill your canteens and water skins.
You’re quite hungry and thirsty, and your feet are tired and sore. Kess has the memory of being stuck with three arrows today, but otherwise, you all feel relatively good, and probably relieved that you have finally arrived in Yartar once again.
The second her aim struck true, Kess watched with baited breath to see how the gnolls would react. When the other pair had decided the Pie Pals were more trouble than they were worth, in spite of Kess now being half-dead, she breathed a painful sigh of relief that burned in her diaphragm. Kess slumped backwards into the grass, heaving and coughing from the arrow in her chest. She spits out a spigot of blood, which goes running down her face before intermingling with the rain. Her body felt heavy and cold. She felt tired.
Sleep...
By the time Krackle had reached Kess' position, the bearbold found that her eyes were beginning to glaze over, her breathing shallow as she continued to bleed; in spite of his cries of alarm, she didn't meet Krackle's gaze, didn't even seem to realize he was there. It wasn't until Kess felt the heavy, furry paws upon her leg and midsection that she barely took notice of him, looking up to meet Krackle's frightened, ursine orbs as he let his healing magics flow into her.
And with one final grunt of pain as the arrows were pushed out by the mending of flesh and the wounds sealed, Kess immediately felt a surge of warm, then cool, relief. She sat up and weakly hugged the exhausted kobold in beast-guise.
"See? You are a helper."
Back to the present...
Thanks to Vesper's magic touch doing much to clean her and her clothes of mud and blood, one would be hard-pressed to believe that Kessdarra had been nearly on her deathbed just hours earlier were it not for the notable spots where her clothes and her studded leather coat had been pierced by arrows. Kess figured that the entire party were likely quite a sight for all of the locals as they trodded into Yartar's gates, looking every bit as tired as they all probably felt, her included.
"Ugh. I'm going to need to get this stitched up and fixed," Kess whimpered as she inspected her garb, her expression sour as she regarded the piercing tear in her skirt. "I think we should make the for the temple first, but I wouldn't be averse to handling lodgings, either. That, and a nice, warm bath would be wonderful. And thinking about it now... we should warn the authorities of the fact that a gnoll pack is preying upon travellers in the area. We were fortunate enough to be able to defend ourselves, but many might not be so lucky."
Krackle would look out from the hammock-like sling behind Lymens back... examining the people walking past as his nose dripped and his breathing got worse. "Maybe... I could see just one piece of the mask...I think it might make me feel better." Krackle would ask before slouching back down into the cloak.
Entering the town, you see the familiar sights of the general afternoon bustle, as townsfolk mill about, conducting their final business for the day, pick through the last of the food items and goods at the open air stalls, close down their market stands and head to their homes, taverns, or wherever else they may be heading during the dinnertime hour of the day.
You navigate your way through the streets and make your way toward the main square and to the Temple of Tymora, which stands proudly in the middle of town, its spires and bell tower being lit up by the latter afternoon sun that's just starting to show the first hues of color.
Walking up the stone steps to the front of the temple, you walk through the ornately decorated oaken doors that are adorned with the emblem of a large coin that bears the likeness of Lady Luck. Entering the large and impressive main sanctuary, you see one of the priests standing over by the altar.
Vesper walks up to the priest by the altar, with one bag in hand and the other still being carried by her Mage Hand. "Hello, is there a man named Ehrland here? There's a few matters of business that we would like to discuss with him."

How far is the temple of tymora?
Middle of town, close to the main square, so a few hundred yards and a relatively short walk.
Back at the battle site...
