From what Chrys can read from this guy, he doesn’t seem to be showing any obvious signs of deception. He appears to be genuinely pleading for his life.
ooc I wasnt sure since it says I get multi attack and when you make an attack action you do both. I haven't been able to do much to this guy so I imagine both would miss lol
If the bandit is saying that the person Krackle is fighting, Lumen's eyes lighten up and he fixates on the noise of the scuffle in the trees. "Krackle! You're fighting a bad one, we shouldn't let him get away." He dashes after the noise, trying to find the bandit in the trees as Krackle fights him.
"Let me be very clear," Kess would say as she continues to hold the bandit at the edge of her scimitars, the blades still crimson with blood. "I can't speak for the others, but I am willing to spare your life. But on one condition: you abandon this life of mayhem and banditry. Should we ever see you again back to this craft, you will not receive any mercy. And given your actions, you should understand that you have no right to expect any. Am I understood...?"
The cloaked man evades Krackle's attempt to claw at him as he flee from the battle. The Kobear tries to follow, but finds that it's tough to locate him in the thick brush and dense forest. (Krackle, roll a perception check with advantage to see if you're able to locate him.)
Lumen clambers through the brush, pushing and pulling aside tree branches and stepping over fallen logs, and finds the Kobear sniffing around the forest about 130 feet away from the path, trying to locate the man. (You can roll a perception check as well, if you want to try and spot him yourself.)
Still in bear form, Krackle lumbers about in the brush, urgently loping back and forth, while sniffing and listening for any sign of the man. Unfortunately, he is not able to locate him.
Stamping through the uneven, hilly ground of the forest that lies just north of the trail, weaving around trees and branches and over downed logs, mossy rocks and a soft bed of fallen leaves, Lumen conducts his own search, but finds no sign of the man.
Antonio remains on the trail and looks over at Vesper. "I'm with you, m'lady. I have no mind to go tromping through the thick brush to look for a fleeing bandit. Two is enough, and if they can't find him, then why waste more of our precious time? Are you ok, Chrys? Is that arrow injury serious?"

Krackle would let out a loud roar in frustration before standing on his hind legs and scratching his fuzzy backside with his large clawed paw. He would then trot back towards his companions. Once there he would loom over the prisoners for the rest of their interrogation.. trying his hardest to look menacing.. occasionally snarling and allowing drool to fall from his mouth on to the faces of the captives. Assuming they are released within an hour, Krackle would then transform back into his kobold self. "Sorry I wasn't able to help get the guy that got away." The kobold would say with a frown as his small tail sits motionless . "Can I help fix where the javalin got you?" Krackle would ask looking to Chrys. "Did anyone else get hurt? I didn't see much after I turned into a bear."
If Chrys would like some healing, Krackle would cast cure wounds7
”It seems as if that bunch was no band of ordinary no-gooders looking for easy pickings. Those fellas seemed to know you, although I take it that they were no friends of yours. And what was that cloaked bloke talking about when he mentioned a mask?“
The lone bandit prisoner looks none too pleased, and still quite frightened for his life, especially when the Krackle bear returns and snarled menacingly at him.
“So, what’s it gonna be...? I told ya what I know, so you gonna let me go, or what?”
Lumen hears Antonio mention a mask and wants to look for signs that he is lying about not really knowing about the mask. He’s immediately suspicious. He walks over and whispers to Chrys some of his thoughts if he can...

Chrys looks relieved when Krackle and Lumen return unharmed. She sees Krackle trying to heal her and gently pushes his hand away. "I ain't that badly hurt," she grunts to everyone concerned about her wounds, "Least nothin' a short rest wouldn't cure. But I'm more than a lil' worried 'bout that one who got away. If he's as powerful as the jerk here said he was, then we got somethin' to worry about, an' somethin' comin' after us sooner rather than later. So ya best be prepared with yer magics in case he decides to turn 'round an' attack us again soon. It's what I'd expect a fanatic cultist ta do, so let's be ready for that, jus' in case."
She dips her head at Antonio. "Thanks for yer assist there. Ya helped us outta a pickle, an' I'm grateful for it." She squints her eyes and weighs the dangers of telling Antonio more about what he's asking.
Chrys eyes the bandit who spoke with some mistrust.

Krackle would bite and claw at the man as he tries to flee
bite Attack: 25 Damage: 7
claw Attack: 20 Damage: 16
he would continue to chase after the man, following right behind him if he can...

Vesper remains where she is, deciding that the matters at present were more important than running off into the forest against some random bandit.

Krackle would remain focused on the fleeing man as steam billows from his snout. His mind only thinking of how this man hurt his friends...

Lumen turns back to the others in frustration, eyes still glancing back for any sign of the man following him. Does he see Krackle at all?

Lumen also wants to check the body of the main cultist.
