(OOC: Curse my current lack of War Caster feat!! Yeah Nym was for sure holding that spell, wanting to shoot it off ASAP and give people advantage on their own attacks. So no opportunity attack unfortunately :/ )
Even as she gathered the energy for her spell, Nym naturally blinked, flinching at the sudden flap of wings and seeing the teeth as long as swords, she reflexively raised her own in defense....for an attack that never came as she was inexplicably passed over. It happened before the drow could finish another blink of her eyes. Blood hitting her as she stared seeing yet not comprehending as Vesper's body was wrenched away from the back of their charging group in the maw of Duskbringer. It was hard to tell if her ears were ringing from the sorceress' screams or shock or perhaps both. But the last look in her eyes finally wrenched Nym into action once more, ignoring the kobold and not taking her own eyes off of the dragon. Throwing her left hand forward with a scream of anger and frustration as she finally released the Guiding Bolt she had been holding, the spell shooting out towards the black dragon in a flash of radiant silver light.
Attack (8) + Bless (1) = 9
Cursing in Undercommon as the spell merely hit the ceiling and caused more rubble to come crumbling down, the drow's eyes darted about the room frantically, "There must be some way to get up there to them!"
Looking around the room, you can't see any obvious way to get up to the ceiling or up to the roof from here. And, from your previous vantage point outside, when you were approaching the keep, it appeared that nearly the entire roof of the Raven's Council had been destroyed. Also, judging by Duskbringer's speed, there's no indication that she's merely headed for the roof. In fact, it almost seems as if she's attempting to fly off, at least away from your line of fire.

Lumen growls, and calls out to Vesper, and curses the dragon.
Action: cast vicious mockery on Duckbringer for 2 psychic damage on a failed WIS 15 save and disadvantage on its next attack BA: cast healing word on Vesper for 8 hp
As Lumen curses the foul Duskbringer, he can detect a slight twinge of pain in her movements as she flaps her way towards the sky, and he also can see the agony on Vesper's face diminish a tiny bit when it sends his healing magic her way.
Chrys lets out a shout of dismay, pointing at Duskbringer and casting Hunter's Mark on the dragon, in the hopes of being able to track her. She then scrambles after the dragon, keeping it in sight, and attempts to AbjureDuskbringer, in the hopes of slowing the dragon down. "VESPER!"Chrys yells, knowing how desperate her friend's situation is.
(As an action, you can choose one creature within 60 ft. of you that you can see to make a WIS saving throw (12). Fiends and undead have disadvantage on this saving throw. On failure, the creature is frightened and its speed is reduced to 0 (and it can't benefit from bonuses to speed) for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. On success, the creature’s speed is halved for 1 minute or until the creature takes any damage.)
As unthinkable it was for you to watch in horror as your companion Vesper is carried upwards in the jaws of a dragon, this vile wyrm suddenly finds herself on the end of an unthinkable situation of dire magnitude. Caught in the divine powers of the mighty paladin Chrysoberyl, steadfast dwarf of Twilight Tor and agent of vengeance, Duskbringer succumbs to the effect and becomes paralyzed with fright. Her massive wings cease flapping and almost instantly, her upwards momentum slows to a stop.
The dragon's mouth opens in a gasp of terror and astonishment, which releases Vesper's bloody body from her grip, and both figures hover motionless in mid air for a brief second before gravity takes over and both figures begin dropping together in freefall back down through the destroyed ceiling of the Raven's Council. You watch in shock as Vesper's body slams onto the large, round wooden table in the center of the room and bounces to the floor like a rag doll. A second later, Duskbringer's huge, scaled frame slams onto the table with a terrible, clamorous crash, and you can feel the displaced air caused by her leather wings as they collapse around her and cover the motionless body of your companion.
The kobold who had been watching this all unfold screams and lunges out of the way of the impact when he sees the dragon falling back into the room. He looks at you, obviously enraged, and then he raises his hand, and you can see that he has a small wooden wand in his grasp. Glaring at Chrys with fury in his eyes, he speaks a quick word in his hissing, draconic voice and suddenly a mass of sticky webbing flies forward from the wand and anchors itself on the walls on either side of Chrys, Kess, Nym and Silver, creating a 20 web that envelops all four of you on that side of the room.
Need Chrys, Kess, Nym and Silver to make a DEX save of 15, or be restrained as long as they remain in the web or break free. A creature restrained by the webs can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. If you succeed, you are no longer restrained.
Looking on in horror, Chrys doesn't allow herself to dwell on Vesper's fall; the dragon has to be stopped before her reign of terror can continue, regardless of Vesper's condition. As she prepares to advance on the dragon, movement from the corner of her eye catches her attention, and with a yell, she manages to roll out of the way of the sticky webbing from the angry kobold.
(The web is difficult terrain, so even if someone makes the save or a successful strength check, the movement through the 20 foot wide mass is at half speed. For simplicity, I'll say that half of your regular round movement distance is at the slower rate.)

"Gah! No!" Try as she might, Kessdarra isn't quick enough to dodge the impending wall of entrapment headed her way as she hears the little kobold unleash a spell. Gritting her teeth in frustration, Kess feels herself slowly being bound in a white, sticky prison of spider silk, held in place
(Come on... Come on...!) Pushing her body as much as she can, Kess reaches into herself and tries to break free!
Kess attempts to break out of her sticky prison (Her spell DC is 13): 22

"YES!" Hearing the webbing tear off of her, Kess feels a wave of determination and relief not to be held in place as she gets herself free.
Taking in a breath, Kess takes a moment to refocus herself... and do something about the latest threat on the table. (Kess uses an Action Surge)
Kess sprints for the Kobold who had just casted a spell upon half the Pie Pals, and raises her blades. Pushing the resemblance the creature had to Krackle out of her mind for the moment, Kessdarra reminds herself quickly that this one certainly didn't have the druid-kobold's kindly disposition nor apparent respect for their lives... and she resolved herself to stop the threat. After all, to her horror... Duskbringer was right there in the same room.

Leaping across the room in a few long strides, Kessdara brings the magical blade known as Moonpetal down upon the kobold in a fierce strike, and follows it up with a second, just to make sure. The sword slices through the small reptilian creature's shoulder and torso with little resistance, leaving a deep red gash in its trail and a terrified look of shock permanently fixed onto the kobold's as it drops dead to the wooden floor, blood beginning to pool on the wood around it.
From her position, Kess is but a few feet away from the dragon, who is still lumbering and reeling from her terrible fall through the roof, and she can smell the foul oder of Duskbringer; a pungent mix of brackish water, rotting vegetation and acid that emanates from her dull, black scales. Being this close, she can see just how large and imposing the beast is, even as its body is spread out on the broken table with its few broken talons. She can also see the small ball of glowing energy that hovers next to the dragon's head, although she feels no warmth from it, even this close, and she knows that somewhere beneath the wyrm lies her friend Vesper, although she has no idea of her condition, or even if she's still alive.
Round 2
Clearly enraged behind all imagination, the dragon squirms and pushes herself upright as she glares back at these three intruders who have greatly complicated things upon their entrance, knowing that she is now nearly surrounded. Whether she actually sees Kess next to her or is just ignoring on her for the moment, Duskbringer stares with fury and sadistic malice at the dark haired elf that's caught in the web and lets out a deafening roar of pain and anger.
From her position across the room, Nym remains frustratingly stuck, unable to move as she fights desperately to try and extricate herself from the web. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as Kess, who was slow coming up the stairs behind her, somehow broke free and sprinted forward on her agile, elven feet to strike at the kobold who caused this.
Then, her worst nightmare begins to unfold as Duskbringer's eyes lock onto her with an expression of pure and savage cruelty, and she watches her mouth begin to open. Remembering the searing pain that she endured from their last meeting, Nym desperately writhes and squirms, but not no avail.
Then it comes. A thick jet of acid that's as wide as she is high, streams forth from the beast and shoots across the room directly at her. Nym is hit by the full force of the attack, with barely an room to try and evade at least some of the burning acid that sprays upon her body. Acid Damage: 25
Need a DC 14 DEX Save at disadvantage from Nym since she's restrained. Success means half damage.

Frozen with mouth agape at the sheer authority that Chrysoberyl exuded commanding Duskbringer, Nym was unfortunately rather easily trapped in an all too familiar sticky substance. Webbing. She hadn't had to deal with such a hindrance in quite a while. Trying to remember the tricks her clan taught her, the drow struggled before seeing the dragon move and she knew what was coming. All too well did she feel like a fly, wrenching and thrashing her body with increasing panic as she received a front row seat to an encore of their first encounter with the black dragon.
The rest of you watch in horror as the nearly defenseless Nym takes the full blast of Duskbringer’s acid breath. When the wretched stream subsides, she hangs unconscious and limp, still suspended in the web, the surface of her armor partially smoldering and dissolving and parts of her face and arms covered with deep red burns.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Yet again, another of these new friends takes the full brunt of the dragon's fury, and Silver can do nothing but stand by helpless. As her limp body is revealed hanging in the web, Silver is overcome with rage at Duskbringer, and she screams, "Noooo!" The scream continues after all sound is used up, and her breath twinkles and glitters in the air, swirling in freezing squalls which grow stronger and stronger, and envelope the dragon in icy wind.
Rime's Binding Ice: CON save 13 from Duskbringer (and anything else caught in a 30ft cone from Silver). Cold damage 19, or half on a save, plus the other stuff in the spell.
