Lumen offers Vesper some kind words as he rises up, assuring her that she’s got this (and inspiring her with a d6 on any roll in the next 10 mins).
He then looks through the trees to try to locate the trolls more accurately in relation to the camp and the cliff behind them, and weaves his hands in a swirling motion, casting silent image.
A (silently) roaring wall of flame, shaped almost like a cubic cage, fulminates into existence around the group. 15 feet on a side, casting dancing, furious shadows into the trees, and making it seem as if the group was protected by incredibly hot and dangerous flames on the outside that would burn any creature daring enough to get close. The flames do not touch the group.
He whispers that he is not skilled enough to manifest harmful flames, but this might buy them some time to prepare, and hit the trolls from a distance if they buy the illusion and stay away.
Lumen's illusory wall of fire magically ignites and extends in a fifteen feet wide barrier right in front and around all five of you. One of them pauses in its approach, seemingly hesitant to keep walking forward towards the imaginary flaming barrier. It turns and begins walking wide, perhaps to try and approach from around the other side. It's hard to discern what the other one thinks of the illusion.
Chrys, Vesper and Kess are up. Right now, the two trolls are about 40 feet away.
Kess unleashes a Fire Bolt, hoping that the trolls might change course if the bane of their legendary fortitude is flung at the closer of the two of them: 23 Damage: 10
Wishing she had a fire spell like the others, Nym picked the best ranged spell for the job. Focusing on the troll that seemed to be nearest, getting closer to investigate the illusion. With a flick of her wrist, she unleashed a bright Guiding Bolt on the closest troll. Hoping that it would help the others take it down quicker.

After Lumen throws up the illusory flaming wall around you, everyone else unleashes on one of the trolls with a volley of attacks. Kess and Vesper both dart it with their fire bolts, which sear into the troll's thick, rubbery hide, while Chrys's javelin slams into the creature abdomen, piercing deeply into the creature's flesh. Unfortunately, Nym's spell attack goes way wide; perhaps she herself is a little confused by Lumen's illusion.
The two trolls continue their approach, quickly closing the distance. While the first (uninjured one) still seems unsure about the fire, the second one that you just blasted appears to realize that it's not real, and he charges right to the fray, making his way straight for Vesper. Reaching out with its long, clawed limbs, it tries to envelop the sorcerer in a vicious bear hug and lift her off the ground.
Vesper must make an Athletics or Acrobatics check against 8, or else be grappled in the troll's grasp.
Almost caught by surprise by the terrifying beast that's now towering right in front of her, Vesper can smell the putrid odor of the massive, mottled creature and feel the cool skin on its muscular limbs as it tries to wrap them around her body. Calling forth a surge of chaotic energy from deep within her wild magic soul, she manages to wrestle herself free from the Troll's grasp and avoid being grappled.

Lumen, having already inspired Vesper, turns to another compatriot, Nym, to inspire her after her missed shot.
He then sets his sights on the troll that has picked up Vesper, and begins thrumming a rhythmic, deep bass tone that sounds fine to the party, but to the troll, sounds like hell. He casts dissonant whispers for 15 psychic damage on a failed DC 14 WIS save, and also the troll has to flee Lumen for a round.

Roll WIS Save: 2
The troll's head thrashes back and forth in pain at the sound of Lumen's discordant bass drone. Dropping its hands away from Vesper, it puts them up to its ears and ends up saving itself from the worst of the effects of the spell.
The second troll still seems confused by the illusion and it continues to stay back, a few feet away from the edge, even as it watches its companion battle inside the wall of fire.
Sensingthe urgency of the situation, Chrys levels a finger at the injured troll. „You‘re mine,“ she say, marking her prey. Then she takes careful aim, and throws another javelin at it. As it sinks in, she draws Due Process and interposes her body between the charging troll and the casters.
Enhanced by her divine magic, Chrys's second javelin sinks deeply into the troll's gut, embedding itself just below its ribs. The troll lets out a guttural yowl that has a very unnatural sound; further testament to the horrid nature of these creatures.
Unfortunately, the troll is so close now, that Kess has a hard time getting a good aim and the troll blocks her hand with one of it's long limbs, causing the fire bolt to sail off into the forest above its head.

Clicking her tongue in frustration as both her and Kess' ranged magic attacks missed their marks, Nym got a good grip on her longsword as she moved beside Chrys. "I've never seen a troll in person before. Can't say I'm glad now that I have either."Stepping into the illusory flames, the drow swung her sword up diagonally towards the monster.
Longsword Attack:6 Damage on Hit:5
Even though the flames held no heat, they distorted the air and her perception all the same, the dark elf wincing at the bright light since she was standing nearly in it. Muttering a curse in Undercommon as her swing wasn't long enough to connect with anything.
Although her dragon breath magic isn't quite as potent as she was hoping, the troll is unable to avoid being hit by the full blast of fire that emits from Vesper's mouth.
Unfortunately, Nym is too distracted by the illusory flames and the chaos of battle with these strange, new creatures, and she is unable to land an effective strike.
Unable to get a firm grasp on Vesper, the troll turns to swipe at Kess with one of its horrendously sharp claws, Attack: 26 Damage: 14, before going full bore on Chrys, who has now stabbed it twice with her javelin attacks. It rakes its other clawed hand across her body, Attack: 22 Damage: 11 and then gnashes at her, trying to sink its razor sharp teeth into her flesh. Attack: 9 Damage: 7
Fortunately, both Chrys and Kess are able to parry the troll's attacks.
Joining into the fray, Lumen positions himself and easily finds himself in a position to deliver a bloody strike along the troll's back. The creature reels in pain at the volley of attacks made at it, but this only seems to engage it even further.
The second troll, still confused by the illusion, cautiously steps forward, and feeling not heat, sticks its hand into the flame, and finally realizes that it's not real. Suddenly emboldened by this new information, the thing charges into the melee, right behind Nym and Kess.
Initiative Order:
Lumen snaps out of sleep immediately, and with Nym's blessing, he leaps up, ready for action before anyone else barely knows what's going on.
