This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Caram, follows Nasaar's lead. We walks in to the room, peering around and approaches the center table, he idly fingers a chess piece, no stranger to the strategic game, and examines what's left of the table and map.
¨Yes it is in a very good condition, maybe there is womething interesting here. Would you kindly give me a few minutes?.¨
Relegak then put all his mechanichal bugs on the floor and with his thinkering tools he starts to assemble them in one single unit ¨You see, as you all know arcane magic surround us all the time, but not all of us can channel that energy, so... ¨He starts to create a visor ¨i design this little units to grab just a little bit of that arcane energy, but my studies have shown that if i link these guys i can drag more energy, without burning them¨ The new mechanical gadget starts to take form ¨and with that i can achive in some capacity what a sorcerer or a wizard can do, not with the same intensity but now that we are exploring we can have an use for ...this... bloody...thing,...just a....few...and.... Voila! this thing rigth here will help me to find interesting things, i hope,...it´s not going to last forever, but i believe 10 minutes give or take ¨ ((Ritual casting detect magic))
And so Relegak will see if he can find something interestig with his gadget
Caram stands and watches Belegak tinkering and explain the practice. He had always brushed off the magical science of Artifice but in this case, he understood it just a little better.
"Can it really do that? Hmm, I always thought it was all about bombs and blasts. At least that is how I always encountered those types of things. You would be surprised how many kooks are drawn to be Artificers."
Folas takes up a position in the corner where he can survey the room, counting exits and looking for signs of what might have been hidden ways in an out of the council room before it fell into disrepair. Perception 15
The map is a rough representation of the coast, along with some crossed off areas along the coast. An impressive rook is set about the center of the coastline while some pawns and a few knights go along the coast in some fashion. As the party examines closer, they can tell there was a fight here. Some books and parts of the map are cut and burned, along with faded blood staining covers and parchment. And with Belegak's ritual, he can see that there is some magic residing, faint and weak but still there.
"Seems like this place was an outpost of sorts. Kept watch for naval intruders along the southern coast. Though they were definitely not preparing for other countries...maybe invaders from Xen'drik?" Henri starts to theory craft as she pores through the books, "Hmm, there should be a commander's journal. We'll probably find more answers with it...So I suppose the only way to go from here is down to the dungeons. Did you guys find anything interesting?"
(If the party does a search, each member roll a 1d100.)
Bronwen tosses the book aside and looks to Henri. "Probably." He turns to regard the rest of the group, "I wanna see what's down there, if you know how to stay hidden, and can see in the dark, join me, otherwise wait with Henri while I scope it out." Bronwen as he says this puts on a noticeably more "Heroic" voice.
He then heads back out into the prior room to descend the stairwell.
Caram raises his hand and says, "Can't see in the dark, I will stand guard up top for now." He stashes the length of chain for later and moves to the doorway of the council room. He watches both the corridor they entered, the stairs down and the room with Henri.
Nasaar puts the war hammer in his belt. "I'll keep guard of our employer." He says with a nod to the others. "Don't do anything foolish, and come back if you see anything you need help with."
As he’s walking away to investigate, Folas turns to Nassar and says “Nassar, you seem like a nice enough guy but you seem to have appointed yourself as the ‘leader’ of our little protection job. I seriously recommend you rethink that position while Bronwen and I check things out. I’ll do what I think needs to be done”.
Nasaar searches the room as their employer does his own looking.
Investigation: 12
Bronwen walks into room and arbitrarily picks a book to read a couple pages of it.

Bronwen puts a cursory glance over the room and goes back to the book he was looking at.
(Items are added already.)
As the party searches, there's a loud roar that comes from below. Soon after, there's a clanging of steel hitting stone nosily from the same place.
Henri looks a bit scared as she looks to the party, "S-should I stay here?"
Bronwen tosses the book aside and looks to Henri. "Probably." “Yeah alright, I’ll go with you” Folas shrugs then walks toward the noise and shifts into stealth mode.

(Neat way to do room searches by the way)
