Nasaar gives Folas a level look, clearly unphased by the retort. "My advice was to keep you alive." He remarks in his calm an unflappable voice. "If you choose to take on more than you can handle, without allowing the rest of us to aid you, then that is on your head, not mine."

(I'll assume Belegak is staying back as well.)
The stealthy pair makes their way out of the room and descends to the lower levels. As they do, they hear a deep growling and snarls, followed by clashes of steel, punctuated by a loud bang. As the two approach the end of the stairs, there's a howl then a moment of silence. The duo peers into the room and see a very large wolf. It paws at a rusted breastplate, almost covering it with a single paw. It seems agitated.

Too frenzied to notice the duo as it starts to prowl about the room, sniffing doors and the remains of skeletons about the room. It seems to show least concern for the entryway that the duo are peering around.
Bronwen's heart leaps into his mouth at the size of the beast, it was huge! Would definitely need backup. He gestures to his companion silently "it's big" . He then checks around for any other rooms or doorways off this room or the stairwell.
Caram leans against a wall and watches the exchange as he slips out a flask and takes a long pull before corking it back up. The burning of the alcohol warms him and brings him back to a place where he can forget most worries.
((So we entered the mess hall through the broken down wall. Then we choose one of the branching corridors and that actually took us to the barred front door (we are on the inside). Across from that was the council room and a stairway down. All of it was open from outside, through the corridor to the open stairway. I hope this helps))
(Essentially yes, the point of entry for both the party and wolves is the collapsed wall in the mess hall. Then the party went to the front entrance and entered the council room that was near there. After a search, the party hears a fight going on downstairs and two of you go to check it out. The duo heads down the stairway and is by the entryway into a room with a large wolf. The entryway does not have any door, instead it is a large arc that is open. There are doors in that room, a total of three, two are closed and one is knocked down.)
Satisfied, Bronwen agrees and heads back to the group. He regards them all when he gets up top. "So there's a big wolf down there. Like I mean really, REALLY big. Frankly, I think its kind of ridiculous."
"What do you wish to do?" Nasaar asks Henry. "Should we go and check out this big wolf, or see what is down that other hallway?" He waits for a response from their employer.
"Henri, we should deal with the big wolf first if you want to stick around here and do more investigating. Better to control when that happens rather than have him sneak up on us at the wrong time" Folas says to Henri
"But...who was fighting down there then?...I agree, I haven't found anything yet and I'd rather not be mauled by a wolf later on. Please take care of the beast, but be careful, no one else should know about this place." Henri says.
“Don’t know yet, but we’ll find out for you. As Bronwen said, the thing is big and will probably be a tough scrap. I guess we should get to it then.” Folas answers

With their employer's instructions, Nasaar pulls out his new Warhammer and moves towards the stairs with the others. "Let's see about being a little sneaky, if possible." He says.
Folas stops the group. "We can't all go. There is still an unaccounted for wolf behind us that Nasser was pushing everyone to ignore. Someone will need to stay behind to guard Henri in case it decides to attack while we are downstairs. Since Nasser is the one who wanted to leave it alive in the first place, maybe he should stay behind and guard Henri -- or find that last wolf and take care of it."
Bronwen chimes in at this, "Well, this meeting room has a functional door, correct? So, no offense Henri, we lock you in here while we deal with the beast downstairs and then come back to let you out. I'm sure one of these books has to be interesting." He says gesturing to the pile on the table.
Nasaar ignores the comment. Their employer had already made the decision, and the idea of the functional door, which kept the wolfs out up to this point in time anyway, seemed like a good enough idea to him. he continues down the stairs. "Keep your eyes open." he says over his shoulder as he makes his way downward. "It is hard to say what our erstwhile scouts might have missed when down here before..."

Caram gives Henri a lopsided smile as he closes the door, "Now, don't get stolen or anything." He regrets saying it immediately as the door is fully closed, another faux paux thanks to his habit.
He follows the room rolling his eyes hard at the two bickering but doesn't say anything.

Folas nods in agreement and gestures to Bronwen that they should silently leave and get the others.

(( does this room have only one exit aside from the broken wall? Do this place look some how as a wolf den? Of does it look like a temporary place?))

" So just a big wolf? We need to be careful could it be the pack leader"

“That’s the last instruction from you. Last warning fake tough guy.”
to Henri “if you’re ok being alone so be it.”
Folas walks behind the clanking Nasser failing miserably at sneaking.
