Tara knocks lightly on the metal of the cage. "Could someone let me out?" she asks with a touch of weariness joining her voice as she eyes where Raksa went over the edge. "Fiend worshipping *****," she adds under her breath, anger still the predominant emotion in her voice and expression.

Jax would stand over the ledge.. looking down into the lava where Raksa fell. After a moment, the thin metal blade would retract into his arm and he would turn to Tara and Lucky. "Raksa appeared to smile as she fell into the lava. Perhaps she was hallucinating, but I fear we are not safe yet. We also still need to locate the shape shifer.." The warforged would add as he attempts to help lucky open the cage. Then, turning his head to the remaining cultist, he would nod. "If you recall, Raksa said that the creature that blew up our airship smelled different than the other lizardfolk. Perhaps they could help us to locate our prey before we leave.... " He would finish as the light in his lens seems to steady and quit flickering as the red light cast from it reflects off the bars of the cage.
Lockpicking if needed to help Lucky open the cage 14
Virnen lowers his bow and returns his readied arrow to his quiver. He walks over to Moxley and Saralyssa and nods his head. "I don't know where you guys came from but thank you. That was close."
"You were all gone so long the ship's crew thought we best come to find you." Saralyssa says with a huff, glancing around. "Seems like you needed a distraction..." She shrugs and climbs up onto Moxley's shoulder. "Are we set to return to the ship or are you needing to do something else?" She is a slender, frail-looking gnome, with long red hair that is tied back in a braid down her back.
"We came down here to find the hijacker who crashed the ship and so far we've made no progress. Maybe that surviving cultist can give us some information." Virnen responds.
Hearing the words from Virnen, Mox will grunt and glare at the cultist as he stomps over to him, grabs him by the neck, lifting him up to stare into his eyes and between clenched teeth, growl out, "Answer their questions NOW, or I will carve you up and serve you for dinner."

Jax lockpicking advantage roll (+3 right?) : 18
Jax begins to attempt the lock on the cage. Through all the soot and ash in the air he has trouble finding the tumblers. It isn’t until Lucky comes up and wipes off his lense, removing the dirt that Jax is able to see clearly and open the lock. Releasing Tara from her cage. Both Jax and Lucky notice the deep gouges bleeding from her chest and realize how close they were to losing her.
The Lizardfolk doesn’t resist and barks a few short words, but they are in the archaic draconic. It’s clear he doesn’t understand the words you are saying. The group comes to the consensus. Raksa was using some sort of magic to be able to communicate in a way the party could understand.
(Is Comprehend Languages still active? It lasts an hour. Eventually Lucky will make his way over to where the lizardfolk is being interrogated, unless the others kill it first...)
(ooc: actually I believe my lock picking would be a +5, I am proficient with thieves tools and slight of hand but it worked out ok lol)
Jax would make his way towards their captive and slowly extend the metal rapier towards the creatures throat.. slowly inching closer and closer. He would look towards tara and anyone else that speaks draconic. "Tell him this blade will not stop untill it pierces through his neck... it until he agrees to help us" The warforged would say flatly.
Tara, heedless of the gashes in her chest, stalks over to the prisoner while casting a quick spell and speaks in a level, reasonable voice (in Draconic).
Draconic:
"We'll be taking another topsider off your hands. Tell us where the shapechanger is, and you can go free or die for your 'god', if you want. The alternative..."
The young woman smiles coldly, the expression utterly devoid of any kind of joy or humor.
Draconic:
"Don't tell us, and I will dedicate your soul to Rhashaak's enemies before you die. Your spirit will pass into their claws, and your afterlife will be an eternity of pain and terror, with no hope of escape and the knowledge you failed your god in the most complete way possible."
Tara fixes the lizardfolk with her icy gaze, blood still running down the partially closed claw marks in her chest as the mark on her hand begins to twist and writhe again, and the shape of dragon wings returns to the lava behind her, this time with a distinctly blue tint.
(OOC: If I have to make a roll for this - which I probably will lol - I would like to add the d4 from guidance to it)
The Lizardfolk’s eyes dart around fromTara, to the blade, to Jax, to Moxely. Visibly nervous and knowing he is outnumbered he relents. “The cells...”
Jax, Lucky, and Vernin recall seeing metal bars down one of the tunnels on their way to the chamber. The group can hear voices and footsteps begin to echo towards their location from various sources. one would think Reinforcements should be expected soon.
Once the lizardfolk answered the question, the warforged would plunge his rapier through the throat of the creature before quickly pulling it out and flicking his wrist and retracting the blade. "We should hurry to the cells and destroy the creature before we make our escape." Jax would say while his head quickly turns to look at each if his companions.
Moxely looks disappointingly at Jax, "I wanted to do that." And then casually sifts through whatever pockets the creature has on it and then casually tosses the body into the lava. "Shall we be off before those reinforcements arrive, which tunnel was it that led to these cells?"
"You could throw the body into the river of molten rock... would that please you?" Jax would add as the light behind his lens flickers in what might have been some kind of wink.

Oh, Lucky has absolutely no lock-picking skills. He's a nice lad, from a nice family. :)
However, he definitely notices that Jax has thieves' tools and the skills to use them, and will help as best he can.
"You were all gone so long the ship's crew thought we best come to find you." Saralyssa says with a huff, glancing around. "Seems like you needed a distraction..." "Mox, you want to go and be menacing to this cultist guy?" Saralyssa whispers into Moxley's ear.
Hearing the words from Virnen, Mox will grunt and glare at the cultist as he stomps over to him, grabs him by the neck, lifting him up to stare into his eyes and between clenched teeth, growl out, "Answer their questions NOW, or I will carve you up and serve you for dinner."

In dracconic...
"My friend wants you to answer questions." Saralyssa says.
Lucky walks over and hears through snarled expletives “Filthy topsiders! Javel won’t say.”
Lucky translates for the others, but stands back and out of the lizardperson's sight.
