Moxley will forcibly shove the Shape Changer up to the waiting hands of Virnen and Tara so they can drag his up, then Moxely will turn and grab Lucky, "Up you go, quickly now." Then as soon as Lucky clears the bottom rung, Moxely will jump for the rope, hopefully making it in time.
Moxely tosses the shapeshifter up through the hole you hear a “Whaaayp!” From the fake Lizardfolk As he gets thrown and begins to climb. From both sides the Lizardfolk are beginning to surround Moxely and Lucky. Rushing forward they begin pointing their spears and grabbing towards the two. In a haste Moxely looks to break the grasps off Lucky and Launch him up the hole to the surface.
Contested check Moxely - 25 vs Lizardfolk - 11
The colossal (I always want to say Tauren) Minotaur grabs Lucky by the arm and back of the head, cradling his neck in the huge furred palm. Swinging him around in a circle, Lucky begins to kick and push back the crowd of the lizard folk before he is catapulted up and into the climbing tunnel a lofty 20 feet before he latches on, almost colliding with the shapeshifter.
Moxely seizes the moment and try to jump up into the tunnel before the Lizardfolk lunge out to him, trying to pull him back down.
(allowing to roll with advantage again from the clearance made from the first roll)
Moxely - 24 vs Lizardfolk - 20
(aren’t you glad Nat 20’s only auto for hits?)
The group of frontline Lizardfolk Dog pile on top of Moxely and try to subdue him. He feels the weight and the hot scales against him get heavier and heavier. He bears down and jumps forcing the collective weight of the lizard to go flying and slamm into the ceiling and walls. He holds onto the rope and begins to climb. As one last Lizardfolk clings on to his foot.
The group can hear the commotion from down below as they continue their climb, but everything is pitch black. They continue to ascend.
(state any actions desired along with a Athletics check)
Moxely lets out a loud sigh, and then reaches into this pack and pulls out a torch and lights it. "Well that was fun, any other excitement you all need to get done or are we heading back to camp now?"
[OOC: Did not quite understand it was a long climb, changing words.]
Moxely will try and shake the lone lizardfolk off of his foot and then continue to climb up after everyone else, making sure to loop the rope around his arms as he climbs.
Virnen and Tara pop out of the top of the climb up. Jax can hear sounds and could definitely take a shot, but he knows that Moxely, Lucky, and shapeshifter are climbing up first.
Moxesly begins kicking the Lizardfolk until he finally feels the grasp release and a small scream fade into the darkness below. He gathers the rope up as he goes.
The shape shifter emerges from the hole first. As the group gets a little nervous at the amount of time it took for Lucky to emerge next. Only being able to finish the climb with the threat of Moxely’s horn and the Barbarian’s assistance to ascend the rope. Lucky gets one level of exhaustion after the climb.
the group has survived the encounter of the lizard folk as they wait a moment and don’t hear any sounds of them climbing out to get them. It is dark into the hours of night and the winds are cold and strong. Something that’s refreshing from your previous environment.
Exhausted, sweaty, still smelling of pollen, Lucky nods in agreement, and then looks around for the doppelganger, making sure he keeps him in sight. Don't go... he coughs repeatedly, then draws breath. Don't go wandering off, you sonofa*****.
“I was hired to do so, collect the schematics, destroy the vessel, destroy the evidence. It was all just business.” The Lizardfolk says matter of factly.
The shapeshifter slightly changes its tone with the further questioning More defensive, but not aggressive . “Look, this isn’t my first time through this. I’m not going to tell you everything. If I do that you’ll be just as content to body me in a ditch somewhere. I can’t give up my employer. They were after how to build airships without elementals, like those two dwarves figured out. Then sabotage it and get rid of the evidence that I was there. Seemed like crash was the easiest way to get the job done.”
Tara listens thoughtfully, then speaks. "This is my first time through this, so you will have to tell me if I'm doing something wrong. But right now, I am feeling a much stronger urge to unleash my frustration at not being able to wipe out that fiend-worshipping lizard colony on you than I think I would if you stopped dodging questions. Especially since you just told us you won't be giving up your employer." She turns the faintly glowing holy symbol of Ourelonastrix (silver scale with a dragon curled around Aureon's book etched on it) over in her hands, tone questioning. "Am I doing this incorrectly?"
OOC: If this ends up needing a roll, Tara has cast guidance
Jax would walk a few feet behind the shape shifter. "I believe there are a few gallons of water let in my jug if any of you require it." He would add as the light in his lens turns yellow once more. The jug would hang down at his belt and the warforged would make no effort to hand it to anyone however. In his right hand, his revolver would be pointed towards the back of the lizardfolks head. His left hand would twist away to reveal the long narrow arm blade which would be pointed towards the spine of the shale change. "I suggest you answer their questions. I am familiar with a wide array of enhanced interrogation techniques. I also have multiple ways of keeping you alive... just in case you think dying might be preferable to the pain you will suffer if you fail to answer our questions.." Jax would say flatly as he attempts to help Tara intimidate the assassin
The shapeshifter continues to debate the subject “You lot are asking for answers and information, to what end. What will you do with this besides feel proud about your detective work and kill me? You’ve walked into a game where a lot of people and the powers to be play for a whole lot more than just dying. You want to kill me? Fine, you won’t get anything information about who is doing this or why. You want information, deal with the fact that you are STUCK WITH ME!” He raises his voice. Enough to disturb some of the makeshift guards in the distance, standing on the perimeter of the wreckage. It isn’t long until you see William Drackon wearing his blue robe. “Did ye find the bastard?!” As he charges forward

(OOC Who needs to make Athletics checks? Can Jax just fire down into the hole around Moxely?)
Lucky's Athletics check. 1
Well, shit.
(Sorry I forgot I tweaked this bit.)

What would you like to do?
"Back to the ship?" Saralyssa asks as she clambers back up onto Moxley's shoulder.
Exhausted, sweaty, still smelling of pollen, Lucky nods in agreement, and then looks around for the doppelganger, making sure he keeps him in sight. Don't go... he coughs repeatedly, then draws breath. Don't go wandering off, you sonofa*****.
Tara nods. "Back to the ship." She gives the doppelganger a calm look. "You can tell us the story on the way."

The group takes the short walk back to the ship. The shapeshifter asks “What do you want to know?”
Why did you crash the ship? Lucky asks.
“I was hired to do so, collect the schematics, destroy the vessel, destroy the evidence. It was all just business.” The Lizardfolk says matter of factly.
"Who hired you?" Tara traces one of the scales embedded in her dress idly.

"What schematics and what evidence?" Saralyssa asks.
Where were you hired? Did you see your employer in person? If not, how were you hired. How were you to be paid?
(These questions are over the course of the walk home, not immediately one after the other...)
