Al-Ashari was standing aside, trying not to attract too much attention. Detect Thoughts
It is unlikely "the invisible man" is right here, but who knows. And a test of will and control of the mind of those "nurses" is useful too.

'No, we are sorry, but we do not know of what you speak.'
'Our inhabitants have mental instability that makes them unsafe to themselves, and to others, the specifics of that is not something we can share.'
The nurses minds both go to a specific cell at the mention of an invisible man by Whitegaze. They both glance at Al-Ashari though and try to push her out of their minds. Al-Ashari gets the direction to the cell though if she wishes to use that information.

Lia stands back, unsure what they are doing here, but willing to support the group.
Al-Ashari immediately withdraw and telepathically says to Whitegaze then the rest of the party: "I know where to go. If you can come up with the reason to get inside the wards - I can show the way."

Show us this secret stair people’ve mentioned and we can eliminate the threat in there, make getting around a little easier, should make your job easier, right?”
'We are afraid to say that we do not allow civilians to walk about the asylum. If you wish to make an appointment to see a blood relative, then you may.'
'The stairs you say...' comes after a short pause. 'There is an entrance right outside of here by the statue in our front courtyard.'
"Al-Ashari, these creatures are mind-flayers. They are evil, but will obey their own rules or at least the rules they are given. Please pass along to the others, lass," Merric beamed to the lady.
Smiling his most winning smile, which admittedly wasn't much, and said "Oh, we woudn't want to juss walk around, me lasses. How about a tour, mayhap, in the case that one of our friends be needin' a stay here. So's we kin understan' what the services be offerin'. Praps that be a thing, lasses?"

Al-Ashari spread the news, though other could feel her un-easiness. "This is the worst possible enemy for me personally," she explained, "the nightmare in flesh." What she wanted now more than anything is to leave the place, preferably with her brain intact. After all, some people manage to live in here and gods said "solving puzzles will help" but nobody said "necessary.

Joetaro grimaces at the idea of standing near such dangerous creatures. He closes his eyes and focuses on Selune.

'Again, we are sorry, but that will not be possible. If one of your number needs our services then we will find them when it becomes necessary.'
After this last the two nurses become blank-faced for a moment, then one of them sends the following message.
'We can fetch the Doctor if you wish to have one of your number evaluated.'
Whitegaze will move towards the door, "I don't think that's necessary, yet, but would you be willing to show us this stair case? And perhaps discuss what we will receive instead of a tour?"
'If you cannot find the stairs on your own, then there is nothing we can do to show them to you.' The voices say in Whitegaze's head. 'If you believe the way to the stairs is there, then it will open for you.' There is a pause. 'If you defeat the creature there the Doctor will meet with you personally.'
"I do not think we should press on." Naturally pale Al-Ashari now resembled a ghost. "We should probably stop now and go check that entrance - they explained well enough how to find it. There we will think what to do. Believe me, you do not want to see that Doctor - not without some preparations at least!"
With all that said, she tried to leave quietly and as unnoticeable as possible.
